《The Dark Star Emperors》Chapter 70: The Mouse that Stalks the Spider

Mizuchi looked at herself in her new clothes. It felt so embarrassed, but she felt a surge of newfound power. Although, she didn't exactly know what powers she did have. Unlike Eli and Yune who had physical weapons, Mizuchi didn't have anything.
Mizuchi looked at the mouse on her shoulders and asked, "So, I'm not going to ask what are my weapons. But I will ask where. Where are my weapons? How am I supposed to figure out what I can do?"
The mouse shrugged it's little shoulders and crawled away. She looked perplexed, but the creature would not wait for her to figure it out.
Yune and Eli were stunned that Mizuchi was a Light Guardian, but they shook themselves out of it and focused on the monster. It began to charge at Mizuchi. Yune spun her hook-chain around and threw it at the monster. Then, Eli hopped on the chain and with the soles of her feet produced a steady stream of electricity. She began to skid on the chains giving her a boost in speed.
But the monster had some eyes looking in the other direction. It wouldn't just look away from one end without knowing what was happening on the other. It spit out some more webs at the chains sticking it to the side of the walls. Eli jumped off the chains and was about to strike down at the beast, it dodged and pushed her away.
Right as the creature was about to slash at Mizuchi, she screamed and closed her eyes. She tried to cover her face in terror not knowing what to do. But once she just thought about what she wanted to do, it happened. As she wanted to defend herself, two orange portals opened up beside her. Two large, black, rocky arms came out from it. They were in the shape of human arms. When the creature brought down it's claws, the arms were in a cross-guard position in front of Mizuchi. When Mizuchi opened her eyes, she saw the two arms holding the creature back.

Then, with just her thought, one arm wound back and punched the creature in the face. The arms almost looked volcanic. There seemed to be small streams of lava flowing from them. The creature shrieked in pain.
By the time the creature could ready itself, it was all too over. The arms went back into the portal. And two more portals opened up in front of Mizuchi. She now understood how to use her powers. One arm came out and held the creature by it's throat and brought it closer to the other portal which had another arm come out of it. The arm wound up it's fist and began to pummel the monster. It continuously took the beatings. The punches from a single arm were fast, strong, and precise. It kept punching until with one last punch, the creature's head vanished into dust. The whole creature began to melt away into black ooze. And finally, the remains turned into mist and all that was left was a black coin.
