Jiao Shu [POV]

I got kidnapped, all I can remember is that when I tried helping the crown prince someone cover my nose and then I blackout.

I don't know where I am, all I can see is someone is fighting 8 black shadows and 1 guy who is fighting ten all.

It's a 1 vs. 8 it's unfair, I need to help him. I tried to get up but my body won't budge as if my energy got sucked dry.

I helplessly look at the guy back and blackout again.

Huang Jinhai [POV]

I was trying to get at the Yang empire to attend the coronation, but I'm shock to find a girl who is sleeping in the hands of 8 black shadows, I have an ominous feeling that it is bad, something bad happened.

I attack the shadows and forcefully fight them and get the girl, even though I'm wounded I won the fight. I look at the girl who I saved. She is beautiful, a beauty that can topple a country.

I princess carry her to the safe place we could hide.

I found a cave that we could hide in. I dress up my wounds and get some fruits to eat so that the girl I save could eat after she woke up.

After several hours I hear a rustle when I look at the direction of the girl I saw her waking up, I went to her side and let her drink some water.

At first she's cautious at me but when I show her that I don't have a bad intention towards her did she relax.

I ask her what happened and she tell me everything.

I wash shocked when I heard what she said. The Great General is a betrayer and his whole clan, and I learned her name. She's Ms. Jiao Shu.

Tsk! Tsk! What a big disaster that had fall to our empire.

Third Person [ POV]

Our female lead and 2nd male lead is leaving in the cave for almost a week their feeling develop quickly.

Jiao Shu clean and dress up Huang Jinhai wounds until he recover.

The two fell in love with each other, they went back to Tang empire to see what did happened.

They saw the casualties that empire had experienced.

Jiao Shu went to her Manor where she saw her parents who helping the slaves to fix their Manor.

While Huang Jinhai look for the crown prince to see his situation.

The palace guards let him enter the palace he saw slaves cleaning and fixing the palace.

He went directly where the prince is, he saw the crown prince standing in a coffin with a dragon symbol. He knows that it is the late King who lay in there.

He approach the crown prince.

" Crown Prince, I'm sorry, I'm late." Huang Jinhai said with a sad tone.

The crown prince look at his cousin.

" Stand up, we don't blame you, Don't be sorry."

Huang Jinhai stand up and look at his cousin eyes, he froze and feel the chill creeping all over his body when he saw his cousin's eyes.

They are dead, he didn't know but he think his cousin feel at lost or having a great pain in his heart.

He feel sad for his cousin but he couldn't do anything what happen has been done.

He knows that his cousin want to left alone so he did leave and gave his cousin the crown prince a space.

The crown prince look back at the coffin vow and walk out at the door.

The son, officials, friends, soldiers, and slaves mourn the death of their old King.

Crown Prince [POV]

When Huang Jinhai leave I look back at the coffin where's my father lay, and vow for respect.

I walk out and went to another place where someone who lay in full of flowers looking like he's sleep.

I cares his face, smooth but cold. I don't know why but I think it's raining because theirs water drop in his face.

But how could that happened he is inside of his chamber while the person I'd in his head laying while surrounded by flowers.

Ah..I just realized the rain is coming to my eyes, why wouldn't stop. Stupid eyes stop watering.

He might laugh at me when he saw me in heaven looking like this.

I sob in front of him.

"please open your eyes. I didn't say how much I love you, even though we know each other for a little while."

Xiaofan [POV]

I'm looking at the crown prince sad figure. I couldn't also contain the pain in my heart and also let my tears fall down.

I am the one who arrange gege's funeral it's hard but we have to accept.

Now I know why the crown prince never let go of him because, he loves him.
