《Blood Control》ch 6 Surreal Dream 6
Advertisement
I woke up in the middle of the night. I saw the same ceiling in the dream world. That is odd, I thought I would be back into the real world. Is this dream still going on? Did I transport to another world?
I felt something warm and wet across my body. I got up to look around and saw Sena, Tuuli, and Kaida lying beside me all bloody. There were open wounds on their neck with blood flowing out. They were dead.
“ MAIDS I NEE…”
I realized what if the maids were also killed too? I must save them somehow. I quickly tore the fabric of my clothes with my powerful strength. And wrapped them around their wounds to stop the bleeding. I placed my head against their chest to hear signs for heartbeats. None of them had any. There was no way I’m giving up on them. I immediately performed CPR on the 3 of them. Thanks to my enhanced body, I was able to give compression to the 3 of them with both arms and my head. I kept it up for 5 minutes which felt so unbearably long. I will not lose any of them!
In my idiocy, I forgot I had a superior hearing ability so I didn’t need to place my head on their chest to hear for a heartbeat. This isn’t a dream. I did transport into another world, didn’t I? I will save you three, so please hang on. Soon Tuuli managed to regain a heartbeat and consciousness. She looked like she had accepted her death.
“Tuuli I will get you and the others to a doctor fast. So please hang on.”
I don’t know if the other 2 would survive but this world is different, perhaps there would be a way to save them. The only difference I know of is that I have enhanced strength, speed, and hearing. Then Azure appeared in the darkness.

“ Azure we must take these girls to the doctor!”
Azure didn’t say anything. She instantly jumped to where I was and kicked me in the stomach. I flung across the room into the wall. It hurt so much but not enough to stop me.
“ AZURE DID YOU BETRAY ME!? DID YOU KILL THESE GIRLS!?”
“ Hahahaha you finally realized? You rotten Royal. Now surrender Crow,” demanded Azure.
There was a chance to still save Tuuli, I will never forgive myself if I let her die here. There is no place for my pride here.
“ Please Azure, at least save Tuuli’s life. I’m begging you. I will do anything.”
“ Nah she needs to die,” denied Azure.
She revealed a knife and stabbed her in the heart killing her for good. I exploded into rage. I couldn’t believe that the woman I had a crush on was this much of a scumbag. I instantly jumped to where she was to kick her off the bed. She dodged my kick and counter-kick me back across the room. I didn’t care about the pain. I knew that I had to beat her and save the girls. I charged back and we were exchanging blows with each other, I was taking a lot of hits and barely hitting her back.
“ So persistent, TARRA, VALE COME HERE AND RESTRAIN THIS BASTARD!” yelled Azure.
“ ARE ALL OF THE MAIDS AGAINST ME HERE!?”
“ That’s right Crow, you are finally getting what you deserved,” grinned Azure.
The nightmare of this world never ended. It was only the beginning. Why did I let this happen? I treated this as a mere dream. Could I have possibly made a difference If I truly tried? The appearance of Tarra and Vale both ended up turning the tide of the battle. Next thing I knew, I was knocked stone cold.

It was morning… I was in the same bed again. It wasn’t a dream. It was a nightmare. I really did transport into a nightmare world.
Sena, Tuuli, and Kaida were now dead for good. I couldn’t save them last night. But I could have saved Tuuli if my fighting ability was better. I was much stronger than 2 of the maids but not Azure. I was a fool and an idiot. I didn’t have time to cry for them during the middle of that night. Now I couldn’t stop myself from crying. I was truly ignorant of this world. I didn’t know how long I cried to them but it wasn’t long until I realized I am running out of time.
Why did the maids not kill me? If I were to be in bed with 3 dead girls at my bedside. I would be framed for murdering them? But if I were to be dead with them. It wouldn’t accomplish anything, the maids would most likely be hunted down and executed for killing a royal and nobilities. But if it’s like this. They could easily pin the blame onto me. Saving their own lives while casting me to hell. The maid’s plan relied on me having chosen noble girls from the selection. I think their plan was about to fall apart until Sena, Tuuli and Kaida begged to stay. Even if I did send those girls home, they might suffer a cruel fate back home. I see this nightmare extends to those 3 as well.
I am a failure for not realizing this. It’s time for me to stop beating myself over. It won’t bring them back to life anymore. For their sake… I must correct the injustices in this world.
I instantly began replaying the entire events that happened yesterday in my head. Let’s start with the selection process. The new king gave me this very small piece of land and serfs. Which isn’t befitting for me as a royal. I must be related to the king. He also gave me a group of girls to choose from as my wife. There is no way that the king is behind this scheme. He wouldn’t have done that if he wanted to get rid of me. This is most likely the maid’s revenge against me. Azure probably has a deep hatred for me. I don’t blame her since this past ‘crow’ is a scumbag after all.
Now, where would the maids have gone? I did a quick run around the manor and didn’t find any maids. The carriage was gone meaning they must have left for a bigger town or city. I guessed that they are going to inform the proper authorities of my crimes and have me be punished? But is it possible for me to tell the king the truth and have the maids be punished instead?
