Chapter 62. Lemme see
“Lemme see!” Arthur asked as he looked at baby wrapped up in a towel on Boss’ arm. Boss completely covered the baby and hid it away from Arthur’s eyes. “Nuh uh, you can’t see the baby yet.”
“Boss, your hair and eyes.” Shelly interrupted. She continued. “It’s back to black.”
“Oh shoot, hold up.” Boss replied and slowly walked over to find a mirror to look at. The other trainees with the exception of Seth silently followed behind the boy with the baby in his arms. They also wanted to have a closer look at the newborn baby.
Pebble leaned over to his dad who he couldn’t believe would just hand the baby over to Boss. “Is that Boss? What happened inside?” he asked.
Gran could only awkwardly shake his head. He couldn’t believe his eyes either. How was he supposed to tell his son that he threw this kid into lightning and he came out unscathed? He just did it because Boss kept going on about how powerful he was so he decided if it was anyone who should block the lightning, it’d be the boy in front of him.
“There we go!” Boss replied and turned around looking towards them. His hair was back to a dark shade of purple and his eyes was a golden yellow. However, the electric shock from the lightning left his hair puffed up. “You wanna know what’s so special about this baby?”
“Yes! But can you first put some clothes on?” Arthur asked. He quickly hinted at Boss’ body which was completely covered in dirt from top to bottom. Boss who didn’t see the problem as the dirt was enough to cover every single part of his body, however he quickly obliged and reached for some clothes beside his feet.
Wearing Roselyn’s gown that was a bit too large for the current him spun around once with the baby still in arm and nodded in content. Boss turned to Arthur who was trying to have a better look at the baby in his arm.
“Well… I’ll tell ya later. She’s sleeping.” He said, as he carried the baby over to Roselyn who instinctively opened her eyes. “Congratulations, it’s a girl.” Boss handed the baby over to Roselyn and smiled.
Roselyn’s eyes were wide as saucers at Boss’ response. Tears welled up and trickled down her face. She didn’t even notice that the boy who handed the baby over to her was cross-dressed in her clothes.
“Hello sweetie, I’m your mommy, that scary man with the gentle eyes over there is your daddy, the one with blue hair is your oldest brother.” Roselyn softly whispered to the baby who was asleep in her arm while pointing at Gran and Pebble who were awkwardly standing there. She continued “You have two other older brothers, one with green hair and another with red like your daddy, I don’t see them here right now but, I’ll introduce you to them soon... Oh gosh, I want to hold you forever…”
She pulled her daughter into her warm embrace and left out a tearful smile. Roselyn had always wanted a daughter and after having three straight boys, her thoughts of having one was like a fleeting dream. She knew that after this one, there wouldn’t be another and was incredibly grateful that her last gift was a daughter for her to raise.
The few trainees all huddled around Roselyn to excitedly greet the sleeping baby in her arms. The baby nestled closer to Roselyn for warmth as it continued to sleep quietly.

While Roselyn was happy that she finally had herself a daughter, other people all over the world couldn’t keep calm.
Continent of Zel, Kingdom of Zeldova, the King’s council chamber.
King Baroque calmly sat on his throne and scanned the members of his council with his purple eyes as many of them flowed into the room one by one. Once the last member entered, the enormous door of the chamber closed, and the first member started to speak.
“Your Majesty, A new prophecy has been received by The Diviner.” A member of his council began the discussion.
“So I have heard, what did our Diviner say?” King Baroque asked.
“A mysterious entity has descended upon world through heavenly lightning in the form of a baby, there will be those who try to kill it, and there will be those who will try to protect it. If it is allowed to grow, there is no one on this planet that is capable of contending with it.” The adviser restated what The Diviner had stated.
“Oh? Did she say anything else?” King Baroque asked. The pressure within the room grew heavy as every man in the room could feel the gravity steadily rising.
“The Di-dviner said, your choice determines your destiny.” The adviser answered he was struggling to stand like everyone else within the room.
“My choice determines my destiny…? Did she hint at what I should do?” King Baroque asked, the pressure within the room continued to rise as some with weaker constitution felt their knees starting to buckle.
“I’-I’m afraid she didn’t, your Majesty.” The adviser struggled to answer. He was sweating profusely trying to maintain his posture.
“Hmm… what does everyone here think about this newfound prophecy?” King Baroque asked. He relieved the pressure within the room causing those within his council to let out a sigh of relief.
“Your Majesty, The Diviner is one of many prophets in the world who has foreseen the upcoming war, we must do what we can to better ourselves!” Another adviser answered, he was pudgy in appearance.
“And how do we do that?” King Baroque asked.
“The decision is yours, your Majesty.” The pudgy adviser replied, he was unwilling to influence the King in making a decision.
“Hmm…”
“Your Majesty, this prophecy is unusual…” Another adviser walked up and stated.
“Unusual? How?” The King asked.
“On my way here, I’ve heard rumors from people on the streets about the prophecy, it is not just The Diviner who received it.” He paused for a moment and continued “It seems like every person capable has received this prophecy.”
“Hmm… is this the same for the rest of you guys?” The King glanced at the nine other advisers who haven’t spoken up yet. They all silently nodded their head, this prophecy, whatever it was, was received by all who could.
The King looked at third adviser who spoke up it seemed like he had something else he wanted to say.
“Is there anything else unusual about this prophecy Adviser Freefall?” King Baroque asked.
“Your Majesty, the people were arguing about the baby.”
“Oh? Why were they arguing?”
“Some are calling the baby an angel that should be protected.” The Adviser paused for a moment; his pause caused the entire room to feel their entire knees start to buckle.
“And?”
“Some are calling it a…demon…that should be killed.” Adviser Freefall answer through gritted teeth he could hardly bear the weight of the force upon his body.

“There will be those will try to protect it, there will be those who will try to kill it, huh.” The King repeated what the Diviner had said. He looked all the 12 Advisers of his council and spoke up. “Find out more about this prophecy, see if it is all the same, and bring every person capable of seeing this prophecy to me to immediately. Dismiss.”
The Advisers quickly left the council room and hurried back to their resident. King Baroque silently tapped the arm of his seat. “Jester, come here.”
A mysterious person completely veiled from head to toe appeared beside the King. “You called your Majesty?”
“This baby…bring it to me.”
“Dead or alive?”
“Alive.”
Right away, your Majesty.” Jester disappeared as quickly as it came.
“I wonder if Tyran has heard of this yet…” King Baroque continued to tap on the arm of his throne.
Tap… tap… tap…
Continent of Tillo, Tillowisk Empire, Kingdom of Tillowisk, King’s royal bed chamber.
SNORE… SNORE… SNORE
An extremely loud snoring could be heard coming from a chamber deep within a castle. With every snore came rumblings quaking the ground beneath.
SNORE!
“Your Majesty.” A small calm voice instantly woke the King up from his slumber.
“Huh? Wife, is it morning already?” The King turned to his wife who had woken him up. She was a fair looking lady no older than 30 in terms of appearance with mesmerizing cyan eyes and equally beautiful cyan hair flowing down to her waist.
The wife shook her head, “It’s only 3 in the morning. Your Majesty, Chief Commander will be here in a few minutes to discuss with you about a prophecy.” The wife stated calmly.
“The feck, what kind of freaking prophecy requires my attention this fecking early?” The King refrained from completely outright cursing in front of his wife.
“It’s about a baby.”
“My wife, you’ve dreamt it? See, this is why I should tell that fool about your powers, I don’t want him coming here this fecking early.”
“Your Majesty, my prophecies only come when I’m asleep, if I was awake, I doubt I’d have received this one.” The wife answered. She then glanced at the door. “He’ll be here in three.”
“three minutes? That’s plenty of time.”
“Two”
Wait! three seconds!?”
“One”
Knock knock!
“Your Majesty! An urgent prophecy!” A familiar voice could be heard coming from the outside of his door. The King’s Chief Commander was urgently walking back and forth between the door to the inner chamber, he glanced at the handle on the door contemplating on whether or not he should barge right in.
“I’m awake! Don’t you fecking dare barge in again!” The King roared from within causing the Chief Commander to stop in place, the last time he barged in the King was with his wife, the moment the three made eye contact Chief Commander was flung out of the chamber with a voice so loud if it was any other person within his unit standing there they’d burst into pieces.
“Give me a minute!” The King shuffled out of bed and put on his robe. He turned to his wife and gave her a quick peck on the lips and walked out standing before the Chief Commander.
“The feck you want, do you know how early it is!?” The King shouted at the Chief Commander before him.
“Your Majesty, our Oracles received a prophecy.”
“Something about some stupid fecking baby, right?” King Tyran asked.
“You’ve heard!?” The Chief Commander was shocked, was his King also able to receive the prophecy?
“No you fecking idiot, tell me what did the three Oracles say.”
“The first oracle said that a mysterious being was struck by heavenly lightning and survived and we must meet it. The second oracle said a demonic baby was born that heavenly lightning could not kill, we must kill it or else it’ll become the strongest being on this planet. The third oracle said an angel was born from heavenly lightning and we must protect it and let it mature to become the strongest being on this planet to protect us.” The Chief Commander urgently repeated the gist of what the three oracles had said.
“The feck does that mean. Why the feck did you talk to the first Oracle, he’s been wrong every goddamn time. Why are the other two conflicting? Are you sure you’ve heard them right!?” King Tyran questioned he was getting more annoyed every second he was with the Chief Commander.
Chief commander nodded his head.
“God damnit! Give me Baroque’s Diviner! I’ll trade these three idiots for that person!”
“Yes sir!”
“I was fecking just saying it, don’t do it!”
“Sir?”
“Let me go back to sleep! I’ll convene a meeting with the Advisers in the morning. Get that Sovereign of Safe Haven out of the dispersal area and have her meet with me, I want to see what she has to say.”
“Yes sir!”
King Tyran turned back and closed the door in front of the Chief Commander. Loud snoring could be heard shaking the bedchamber soon after.
Continent of Ere… Wasteland
“Detah! Detah! DEH! TAHHHHHHHH!” An old man with a head of gray hair and dark grey eyes shouted on the top of his lungs. He was sitting on a stool in small wooden cottage with his right arm rested on the table beside him, waiting for the person he called to run in.
Clang clang clang
A tiny suit of armor with a helmet that was abnormally large walked in after hearing the shouting.
“What is it grandpa Torva! Why’re you being so loud! It’s early in the morning!” A little childish voice could be heard coming from within the tiny suit of armor.
“Boohoohoo I’m not loud, ya’see Grandpa just had a prophecy ya’know.” Grandpa Torva responded.
“No way! Grandpa, you can’t lie about this ya’know!”
Smack
“Auuuuu, why’d you smack me Grandpa! My helmet is spinning!”
“Detah! I just had a prophecy, ya’know!”
Clang!
The tiny suit of armor repositioned its head back to normal and sat down on the ground. “Okay tell me! What did ya see!?”
“Ya’know how I don’t get prophecies often, right?”
“Ya, I know!”
“Well ya’see I just got one!”
“OKAYYYYYYYY TELL ME!”
Smack
“Auuuu, Grandpa Torva stop that, my helmet is spinning!”
“Ya’know why your helmet is spinning?”
“Cause you smacked it?”
Smack
“Auuuuu”
“Ya’see it’s because your helmet is too big! Ya’know you’re a tiny kid wearing an adult size helmet, right?”
“Grandpa Torrrrrrvaaaaa just tell me about the prophecyyyyyyyy… Will it help me make friends?”
“You have friends!”
“You don’t count, Grandpa!”
Smack
“Auuu”
“Ya’see, of course I count. Ya’know why?”
“Why?”
“Cause my first prophecy was you, ya’know. It came to me in a dream—”
“You said smoke cloud last time.”
Smack
“My helmet is spinning!”
“You’ll stop interrupting me and listen now ya hear?”
“…”
“…”
“Say something! Do you understand!?!”
“I hear!”
Smack
“Auuu, why Grandpa I was listening!”
“That time, it was for fun.”
“Auu…”
“Detah… it’s time... Let’s go make you some friends.” Grandpa Torva walked over to kid size armor with and patted its adult sized helmet causing it to tilt downward.
A tiny little voice whispered softly through the helmet “Really…?”
“Ya, really! TO TILLO!”
“TO TILLO!”
Smack
“Auu…”
