《Offworld》Screams 7

" AAAAAAA..
The blue sphere was coming closer and closer but in reality it was I that was heading straight for it.
' You idiot. '
I screamed in my head. The one who threw me seriously didn't think this through.
5 m..3... 1m...
' Shit..
I closed my eyes and hopped I wouldn't end up like a pancake.
*Plop*
*BANG*
.....
"Huh?
Where am I?"
The previous darkness was nowhere to be seen and neither the blue sphere. I now seemed to be at the same place I was before everything went black.
I was relieved. I hadn't died from colliding with the sphere and passed right through it without any problem, but one thing still bothered me.
The darkness. For now I had managed to escape it's grasp but the last moment before I entered the blue sphere the spear was right at my back.
If I had been even one moment slower I would have definitely perished.
Not be killed, but perish .
" Huuu.. this is a lot to take in at once . What just happened..
*Shake* *Shake*
I shook my head to try to get these thoughts out of my mind.
For now my priority is to find out if the person that I saw before blacking out really was Rosela or not."
Right now I couldn't even believe my eyes because of what just happened. How would I know if what I saw was just an illusion a figment of my imagination.
"Water Art: Geyser Step"
*Bang*
I headed to the direction I last saw the two clocked figures going.
....
The two clocked figures POV.
*Whoosh*
*Whoosh*
Two figures decked in black robes that covered their entire figure except for their eyes were moving at fact speeds between now the roof's of houses.
One of them had silverish eyes with the pupils in the form of slits like some sort of animal while the other hand normal human black eyes.

*Whoshhh*
The crossed the roof's of the houses quickly and with great agility. Each time their feet touched something a gust of wind slowed their momentum and when they moved forward again another gust of wind propelled them forward.
The two didn't talk to each other at all and only moved forward. Their gaze didn't move at all but you shouldn't be deceived their unfaltering gaze because their senses were more sharp than any normal human.
*Whoosh*
*Tap* *Tap*
After two minutes of non-stop jumping the touched down in no front of a house.
The house was no different than the other houses that you would find on this city but for them to stop here there was definitely something that others didn't know.
They approached the house and the human knocked on the door.
*tak tak*
After he knocked on the door he stepped back and waited until after about 30 seconds when an elderly man peeked it's head out.
"Who are you?"
The man who seemed to be at deaths door spoke these three words slowly.
The human removed his hood and revealed the face of a 30 year old man. He had grey eyes a big nose and a pronounced chin. He had wild uncombed hair but was cleanly shaven creating a strange contrast.
The man didn't answer but only threw towards the old man a gold coin.
*Swish*
The old man imediately threw his hand forward and caught the coin before bringing it to his mouth and taking a bite at it.
*click click*
The old man bit the coin two times and the sound of metal hitting metal was heard.
*Smile*
"Hehehe.
Costumers are always welcomed so please come in."
"Hmph."
The cloaked man gave no head to the words the old man just said and entered the house.

The beastkin followed right behind him with Rosela in tow.
*Tap Tap*
While the beastkin was coming in the old man opened his eyes and mouth wide. His mouth was filled with black teeth that seemed to be made from some kind of metal and his eyes shinned a perverted light upon Rosela's body.
' What a beauty. I wonder if I'll have the chance to play a little with her?
Ah ah it's been so long since I played with such a beautiful woman.'
*Creak* *bam*
The door closed and there was no sound coming from it. The whole thing happened in a flash and the street returned again into its monotonous silence.
....
20 meters away at the roof of a building. A young man about the age of 20 was watching the whole thing and he seemed to not like it at all. This was evident by his heavy breathing, red bulging eyes and his cleched fists.
"You will pay for your insolence."

Tempest Rogue
This story follows Auron, a man who has been plagued with vivid nightmares his entire life. While running away from a beating, a splitting headache causes him to fall to his knees. Once again his nightmares bleed into reality. The next "episode" he has brings him from the scene of his nightmare, to a posionous swamp. To make matters worse his memories from earth are fading, and these nightmares that plagued his childhood, filled with darkness and a red coocoon, are back and worse than ever. As he clings to the only memories he has left, he is forced to fight through a world of brutal blood thirsty monsters, dungeons, and a complex magic system governed by an ancient agreement. First time writing any sort of story. Everything is still a work in progress. As I improve on my writing I will go back and edit parts. Early chapters are subject to change as I grow my ability. I am going to try my best to write this world and improve as I go. My goal is to make my dream come to life through the medium of text. This is why I wanted to post it here. Feel free to comment, and bring constructive criticism. Hope you enjoy! More info (Spoiler warning): only read if you are picky, read a lot, and want to waste no time with a story you may not want read. This book is a litrpg. This means it contains stat tables, and other game elements. (Which you may gloss over if you would like) It is written in a fantasy world, in the style of a progression fantasy. The main character grows in power as the story plays out. My characters are written to my best ability, but you may find them immature. The MC has to adjust to fighting, and killing which he struggles with for a while. His partner is a magical salamander who is a friend and mentor. The world building, monsters, and descriptions are also low tier. (I am working hard to change that!) If you are okay reading something by someone who is just getting started then welcome! I am doing my best, and incrementally improving as I go.

A Fool's Journey, or the Vagrancies of a Man in Exotic Lands
What does a sad bastard do when fate, literally, decides to throw him into a fantasy world? Solon just wanted to lead a normal life; work, share some pizza with friends, work, play some videogames or read something, work, maybe sleep?, work... Pretty much the usual, rinse and repeat. It was far from perfect, but life was nicely boring and comfy enough. Truth be told, he had hoped it would go on forever, or until he got married, or until the apocalypse finally decided to bring an end to everything. As far as he could tell, though, the former was about as likely as the latter; not very. And perhaps even somewhat related, if it ever came to it. Unfortunately, he saw himself involved in some sort of cosmic fart that screwed him over, brutally severing his life-plan. Or, maybe, would it be more suitable to say that Fate had other plans? Sure, he's yet to find out exactly what those plans might be, but, at the very least, they do seem to involve him being shoved into another world, fighting off a couple of horrendous creepers, and -almost- an accidental liaison with a baboon. Needless to say, the job doesn't come with dental care, and death seems more likely than retirement... Yep, when he got yoinked out of Earth, there were no princesses waiting for him, no sexy goddesses, and no severe Gandalf-wannabes! Heck, not even a bunch of demonic cultists! All he got for the trouble was a bunch of snarky windows and the honest desire to punch whatever bastard happens to be behind the smug System. Well, that, and a few forced trips to the so-called Tower of Ascension. Not exactly what he would have expected but, on the plus side, he does get to do some magic. Though, not quite the wand-waving kind. Whatever. One thing’s patently clear, though, he’s certainly not the chosen one, nor the summoned hero, nor the Savior. If anything, he himself might be in need of some saving... Just what kind of fool does the System take him for? Please do consider the tags. Also, 'Strong Lead' here means weak to strong, over a decent amount of time, not op from the very beginning. Things to expect: decent grammar, cheeky goats. Things not to expect: Harems, a decent sense of fashion.

The Explorer's Guide
All seems lost to a lonely prisoner in supermax, everything seeming meaningless as he recovers from an internal injury caused by a rival gang. As he goes through life with low morale and a shattered liver, one day he is thrown into a conspiracy and dies at the hands of his own gang's ploy. But is death really the end for him? Will he ever find eternal peace and slumber or will he have to fight and struggle, just to be able to prevail? Under current heavy editing, as my writing has improved and I felt like the initial chapters just didn't make the cut. Additional tags: Psychological; Adventure; Drama. Author: Hello everyone, I don't expect a lot of people to read my story but if you do I sincerely thank you. English is not my first language, but do not take this as some kind of excuse as I will try to my very best to improve and make the story fluid in both grammar AND content. Disclaimer: This story is purely fictional any real events or people displayed are purely coincidental. I got the Image from google and I do not own it. IF the owner would like me to take it down please PM me, Thank you.

A Sky of Star and Strength
Jake was just an intelligent kid living a pretty regular life in Mill Creek, Washington. Then the apocalypse happens. Now with his Dad out of the country and totally in yet out his element, this is his story. My take on a system apocalypse based around "life force" as a currency. The main character will have a special power (as will most of the other characters) and be rather OP, you have been warned. Like many of the authors on this site I have no formal writing experience so writing tips and grammar corrections are much appreciated :)
