《Offworld》Screams 5

A little after the loud bang was heard.
*Bam* *Bam* *Bam*
I was rapidly using my "Water Art: Geyser Step" to move towards a certain direction.
' What the fu*I is happening?'
Why...
I tried to think about what I saw and could only manage to give myself a headache.
As I was about to leave the place I was hiding in order to listen to the conversation between the four young city guards and the middle aged man I , without any reason raised my head up and I caught sight of something.
*Bang*
I punched the wall close to me with full strength and left on it a huge hole.
"What was that?"
I was wondering what I just saw and why I punched the wall. My body had reacted on instincts and I was just left there standing bewildered.
*Drip* *Drop*
"Ahh...
I was bleeding . The punch I did towards the wall had cut my hand. The pain I experienced brought me to my senses , but I wish it didn't. I wished at that moment that I would never wake up from the stupor I was in because reality was way worse.
As soon as I regained my senses the gears in my mind starting turning so I could remember what I saw to make me react in that way.
I concentrated hard on that fleeting memory, but it seemed to not want to surface itself for some reason. I didn't give you and instead tried harder and focused my whole spiritual energy to my brain and something hazy started to appear before me .
*Twist*
At first I just saw some incomprehensible shapes and colours which then turned to figures.
"Huh...
There are...two clocked figures? One seems to be a beastkin judging from the bulge in his back where his tail would be and the other seemed human.

The beastkin is holding something?
Ughh.."
I tried to concentrate more on the figure on the cloaked figures hand and it started to get clear.
Those clear eyes, that face, those....red hair.
Imediately my brain made the connection between the two.
The figure I had seen and the figure of Rosela were very similar .
No they weren't similar, they were definitely the same person.
*Whoosh*
*Silence*
As soon as I came to this conclusion I semignly blacked out and imediately regained my concusses but I could only see darkness.
*Drip* * Drop *
I heard the sound of what seemed to be water dripping.
*Drip* * Drop *
The sound of water dripping continued without stop ,in regular intervals.
My senses seemed to not be working properly in this place as excluding the sound of the dripping water I could see nothing and feel nothing but strangely I felt cold.
' Why am I cold ? '
It was very strange. I right now was a 2nd stage water elementlist and my cold tolerance was astounding. If I ever wished I could stay outside without any clothes at the coldest day of the year for hour's and still feel like a summer breeze.
*Drip* * Drop *
*Drip* * Drop *
*Drip* * Drop *
The same sound continued to ring in the distance, never approaching or ceasing like the sound of a clock.
I stayed there in the darkness unmoving , because I couldn't even lift my pinky finger.
*Drip* * Drop *
*Drip* * Drop *
*Drip* * Drop *
*Drip* * Drop *
"Is anyone here?
Hello. Can anyone hear me damnit."
*Silence*
I got no answer.
I was beginning to losse track of time from this kind of sensory deprivation and was also beginning to forget what I was doing and..

Who was I ?
"YOU ARE WEAK."
A booming growl that seemed to contain different voices and sound that all together sounded like word's.
' I'm weak?'
" Who are you?
Show yourself."
*Silence*
" Why aren't you answering? Cat got your tounge?"
*Silence*
'Tsk..
My attempt at getting an answer seemed to have fallen on deaf ears.
" YOU ARE WEAK YOU ARE WEAK YOU ARE WEAK YOU ARE WEAK YOU ARE WEAK YOU ARE WEAK YOU ARE WEAK...
" Shut up and show yourself."
*Twist* *Twist*
The darkness started twisting and like and illusion a big blue sphere appeared in front of me.
The sphere was like a blue sun that shinned it's light uppon me.
"Ughh...
I was first surprised that something appeared and then concerned. The blue sphere in front of me was definitely the marble that was in my soul.
' Why is the marble here? Does this have something to do with the situation I was in? '
"YOU ARE WEAK"
The same phrase was heard again.
"Yeah yeah. I'm weak and you're strong so why don't you come over so we can have a little talk."
"YOU ARE WEAK"
"Fu*k...

Chronicles of Rathia - The Era of Blood
Welcome to the Chronicles of Rathia. Contained within is a trilogy of stories which are all set in different time periods and with different characters. Each story has its own era from The Era of Blood, The Era of Magic and The Era of Demons. Read along the first in the series which is The Era of Blood where magic is still in an infant stage and where swords can dominate the battle field. In The Era of Blood, you follow along the first main character who had his memories wiped clean except for the most basic things in life. It is up to him to find out how to get his memories back and why they are gone. (If you don't like the story layout or characters, I suggest either just reading through or wait till the next one in the series is being released. With how it's set up, you can enjoy any of the three in the trilogy but of course reading in order will help give a better understanding of the world.) (Side authors note - I'm currently reworking the first several chapters as they are lacklustre to myself since they were originally a draft and not concrete at first. This note will stay here until all the chapters I wanted to fix up are done.)
