While on our way to the inn me and Munnji were talking about our plans, but our attention was not on the conversation.
As soon as we left the Trinity Merchant Groups branch Munnji had discovered two unusual people staring at us. They were definitely not customers from the sight of them and not normal citizens seeing that they had managed to escape my attention, but not Munnji's.
Munnji's senses were several times sharper than mine even if I had far surpassed the limitations of the human body. I didn't know if it was because he was typically a beastfolk or some type of different reason.
We continued on our way trying to confirm if they really were following us so we stopped at a food stand and ordered some type of grilled fish.
We sat at some of the stools that were right there and started eating our grilled fish with disgust.
While we ate our fish one of the followers stopped at a food stand next to ours glancing stealthy at us while the other one passed by us walking further and further away until he couldn't be seen anymore.
After we finished our fish we continued on our way but this time not towards the inn but to the restaurant we ate the first day.
When we arrived there we were ready to go with the plan me and Munnji had formulated when we were eating our grilled fish.
"Hello dear customers.
What can I get you today?"
“First bring us some side dishes and then bring us your strongest drink, we are celebrating today."
I said at the waitress smilingly.
“Okay, I’ll be back in a moment."
...
After ten minutes she came back with our side dishes and our drink.
We ate and drank for about two hours nonstop until we looked like we were wasted. We asked the waitress for to keep the drinks coming, but she refused and said we should go. Seeing that she refused to serve us anymore we made somewhat of a ruckus and yelled at her for a while before we paid and left.

After that we stumbled out of the restaurant holding each other by the shoulder like a bunch of drunkards and headed towards a lone alley.
.....
Right as me and Munnji entered the alley two individuals wearing a hooded robe were watching us from a distance.
“They left the restaurant pretty drunk by the looks of it and are heading towards the port. Do we keep following them from a distance or are we going to go for the pounce?”
“Our orders were that we keep a close eye on them for the time being, not to take them out.”
“Come on. If we capture them now we can get all the information we need from them with a little bit of torture and end all this useless chasing.”
“STOP. Do you think I’m stupid? You just want to kill them so you can get all their money, but the orders were clear that we are just going to follow them to find out what their relation with Faley Mint is.”
“Hehe, I was found out.
I understand that those were the order, but don't you see? They are now practically just a walking sack of money. If we don’t get to them now they are just going to get robed by some random thugs in the state they are in.
So, what do you say?”
The other pursuer thought for a while and then gave an answer.
“Hmm.., okay let’s do it.
We will share the money equally.”
“Hehe, whatever you say boos.”
After they came to an agreement they followed their targets into the alley.
.....
*step* *step* *step*
The two pursuer’s steps echoed in the deserted alley.
“Where are they? They couldn’t have gotten far in the state they were in.”
“I don't know, but we have to speed up if we don't want to lose them.”

*step step step step step step step*
The pursuers hastened their steps, but they still hadn’t caught up to their targets.
“Shit, did we really lose them? I can’t believe that we lost two drunks!”
“Don’t panic, we just have to follow their steps.”
They continued for 20 more meters took a left and then stopped again.
The footprints stopped, but there was no sign of the two.
“Did they spot us? They spotted us didn't they?”
“No, it’s impossible. No regular human can.... oh shit, run.”
*crack* *Bang*
The wall on their right broke and out came me and Munnji. We had lured our pursuers to this alley and instead of getting ambushed we were ambushing them.
*bang* *crunch*
Munnji punched one of them straight on the jaw with an earth elemental energy enhanced punch and definitely crushed his jaw by the looks of it.
I on the other hand chocked out the other one.
“So, Nick what do we do with them now?”
“Well, we are going to ask them a few questions.”
“And if they refuse?”
“Well I’m going to make them talk, that simple.”
