FÓRUM:
>Aizen LightStar Vs King Lizardman | Hot topic☆
*video*
Comments:
-Man, that was crazy. He used magic in a bizarre way.
-He seems to be a wizard, but why is he merchant in profile?
-He must be a tradesman in his spare time
-Don't be idiots, merchant is your profession. Professions do not influence player power
-The guy on top is right

>Aizen LightStar Vs Guilds | Hot topic☆
*video*
Comments:
–This game is sensational. Players who wish to play solo may have the power to fight a guild
–Tsk! I want to see them be able to overwhelm solo players now
Solo players had a grudge against guilds. They always try to get the best stuff, even if it's strength. They often even use threats. However, this game is different. Guilds cannot do anything for solo players. Everyone has the option to hide their data and information, change their appearance, etc.
-Lol! Intermediate guilds can't even defeat a Rank Lord boss, what morals do they have to talk about us?
–hahaha!

>The true use of magic | Hot topic☆
>Hello, my name is Haz, yes it's me again. I am a player who likes to explore and discuss subjects. Today we are going to talk about magic, At this stage of the game, we notice that mages seem weaker than usual. They often drop fireballs, stone stakes, etc. Attacks that are very simple and that are rooted in us.

>Today, I saw a video about Aizen LightStar. I was curious about the way he uses magic. His ability was simply outstanding. I tried to understand how he does this, called some fellow mages, and realized some points.
> 1st Limitations. Current players are limited. Yes, limited. Most magic players are low on mana and cannot use powerful attacks very often. I have no idea how Aizen LightStar does this stuff. The point here is, try to increase your magical ability, it will give you more freedom.
>2nd Learning method. As you know, most players learn magic through books. However, they are learning by a very standardized method. They learn how to throw fireballs, but they don't learn how to control fire itself. Did you get it?
>3rd Difficulty. Magic is not easy. These tips will only serve to broaden your horizons. I met several magic players and saw that each one's abilities are different, despite being at the same level and having similar items. It makes me think that some people learn and grow up too fast. The way Aizen LightStar manages mana is way too complicated, and no player I know knows how to do that. Well, try it on your own.
> Good luck on your journey, mages

Magic players were happy to see the Haz thread. Haz was already famous in the community because he often helps players with their discoveries. After reading the Haz thread, magic players became more excited to learn.

Alura looked at the video of Aizen's fight with a twinkle in her eyes.
"He's so cool!"
"Stop watching this video." Amarys felt like a big sister watching her little sister grow up.
"Alura, you're getting famous on the forum. You must have been getting recruiting requests," Ryo commented. Players were amazed at Alura's support abilities, in addition to various buffs, she could also use imprisonment and healing abilities. Even some big guilds have sent a recruiting request for her.

"I swore I'd be loyal to you boss!" Alura said, with a determined expression.
"Okay, okay." Amarys flashed a smile, She liked this little girl a lot. Amarys picked up her beer and drank.
*Bling!*(Notification sound)
Hearing a notification sound, Amarys opened his message box. After reading the message, she spat all the beer in Ryo's face.
"Leader…" Ryo looked at his leader with a helpless expression.
"We did it!"

>Anti-energy crystal
Classification: SR
Active skill: The crystal can absorb or (partially) counter energy attacks
×The amount of energy absorbed cannot exceed the crystal's limit, otherwise, the item will be destroyed
༺═────────────────────────────═༻
"What an interesting item." Aizen thought this item was fantastic. This was the SR item he got when he killed King Lizardman. King Lizardman used this item on the tip of his spear. He had also gained a shield(R) that can partially negate energy attacks and armor(R) that has abilities to counter damage taken within a certain limit. Plus some other basic items(R) like armor and spears. He also gained materials.
'Even being in the same ranking, some items are better than others.' Aizen realized that certain items are much better than others, even though they are in the same ranking. The shield that Lord Lizardman was holding is much better than the spear, even though they are both R-Rated.
That's because the shield had very good skill, the spear didn't. This situation can happen with items of any rating, some are better than others.
Aizen took the anti-energy crystal and the R items that had no use. He was going to try to do something crazy right now. He took Oblivion out of inventory.
"Consume."
Oblivion started consuming the R items. After consuming the items nothing happened.
'It is not enough?' Aizen took the shield.
"Consume."
Not yet. Aizen put on the armor.
"Consume."
【Oblivion has moved up to R Rank】
'Ufa!'
Aizen had to sacrifice all of his R items gained in the dungeon.
'I hope this works out.' Aizen took the Anti-Energy Crystal.
"Copy."
Oblivion glowed.
'Copied skill'
Current limit: 1
"That's it!" He was excited.
༺═────────────────────────────═༻
oblivion
Rating: R
Active Abilities: Can absorb or counter (partially) energy attacks
Active skill: Can copy or steal skills from other items (depends on item rank and ascension)
Current limit: 1
Active skill: Can become any type of weapon
Passive skill: Can alter your appearance
༺═────────────────────────────═༻
The weakness that the crystal's ability has been discarded, Oblivion was indestructible, so it wouldn't be destroyed by absorbing too much energy. Of course, it couldn't absorb energy infinitely, but at least it wouldn't be destroyed if it exceeded its limit. He also gained one more Slot to copy or steal skills (he used one when he copied the skill and gained one after the weapon ranked higher).
Level 10>15
'My level has grown a lot.' He had gained a total of 5 levels (adding the XP of all enemies he killed in the dungeon). He didn't kill many enemies besides King Lizardman and the two Lords. He could feel his body getting stronger with each level he ascended.
'I better get my prize from the guild.' He was curious about the magic book.
'I hope it's something useful.'

Wildling
Blurb: Silas--a scavenger living off the ruins of humanity--has spent his entire life fighting tooth and nail to provide for himself and his crew. But when a scavenging run goes awry and he's snatched up by an android patrol, he finds himself thrown into a cage and priced to sell as a pet. And when a suitor comes calling, he fears the worst: that he'll be turned into a Domestic, a human lapdog brainwashed into total obedience. Instead, he discovers an equally disturbing truth: that the creatures who stole his world have created a videogame the likes of which Earth has never seen; a sprawling, game-like theme park where humans are the Avatars and androids are the players who control them. And to make matters worse, his android guide is as hopeless as they come, having gotten all of her previous Avatars killed in record time. So if Silas wants to regain his freedom, he'll not only have to fight his way through a world that was specifically designed to murder him in brutal fashion--he'll also have to convince his android guide that he should be the one calling the shots. FAQS: Q: Who are you, handsome stranger? A: I'm Kyle Kirrin, the author of Shadeslinger, book 1 of The Ripple System, published by Portal Books, and I write crunchy LitRPG. Q: What is Wildling? And is it complete? A: Wildling is a crunchy LitRPG mash up of Fantasy and Science Fiction. And yup, Wildling is already complete at 64 chapters, or about 120,000 thousand words. You're looking at something like a third draft here--it's fairly polished, but it hasn't been picked over by a copy editor yet nor has my developmental editor seen it. Q: Upload schedule? A: 5 initial chapters today (2/15/2021) and one chapter a day for the next month. After that I'll probably slow down to 2 or 3 chapters a week until the story is complete. Q: How crunchy is it? A: It's pretty crunchy. I'd put it on the same tier as Ascend/The Land/RSSG, but it might be a bit crunchier than those three? Q: Is this the first book in a series or a web novel or what? And what are your plans for it? A: It's currently a standalone with series potential. Full disclosure: this story may head the way of my publisher eventually, but will be available on RR for quite a while no matter what. Likely several months after it's complete with plenty of warning before/if it's taken down. Q: What kind of build does the MC create? A: Sword and board! Q: Crafting? A: Plenty! Crafting isn't as center stage as it is in The Way of the Shaman, but it's close. Q: Base building? A: Two fully separate, distinct bases, both of which play a major role in the story. Q: VRMMO? Portal? Reincarnation or what? A: This one's a bit tricky. Basically an advanced race has created a game-like world that closely resembles a theme park. Think Westworld but with copious amounts of loot. And the MC has to fight his way through that to earn his freedom. Q: Permadeath? A: Nope! The MC gets 3 lives to play through the entirety of the game world, and death is extremely punishing, but not fatal. Q: Harem? Or romance? A: No and no. Q: Cursing? Blood? A: Quite a bit of cursing, yeah. There's blood, too, but it's not a gory book by any means. Q: How can I support? A: Instead of a Patreon/donations etc, I'd ask that you consider giving my debut LitRPG Shadeslinger a chance. It's free on Kindle Unlimited and the audio is already out narrated by Travis Baldree. It's an epic fantasy VRMMO where the main character gets 3 days of exclusive access to a new game plus a snarky, talking axe to guide him through it in exchange for agreeing to become the target of a serverwide manhunt once the Head Start period ends. Q: How's it similar to Wildling? And how's it different? A. The crunch level is very similar, but Shadeslinger is a much lighter, epic fantasy take on the genre. It's also VRMMO, but without any real world components aside from the first chapter. The MC is very different--he comes off as a bit of a jerk early on and can take a bit to warm up to, especially before his backstory is revealed--but he's also got a talking axe that constantly puts him in his place. Shadeslinger's a much more humorous story in general, and it's a great deal more polished as well. Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoy Wildling!
