Life, the struggle for existence
What would happen when man had to, once again, fight for its own right to live? Would the evolutionary counterparts of our ancestors manage to life through the struggle for survival? What would happen to society if a new reason for living came up, other than the enjoyment of the well-built environment? A reason that could either unite or destroy humanity.This is the struggle for their right of existence.As earth and its inhabitants are faced with the fear of unknown danger and the peril of monstrosities, some will falter, some will die and some will live on to tell the tales of those forgotten. As reality dictates, most will be part of the first two groups and only a small faction will be part of the latter. *This is my first attempt at writing fantasy, so I do hope you’ll enjoy it. The story is one of apocalyptic nature, with gigantic monsters, unfathomable powers and also a critial view on humanity and what it means to be human. I will definitely try to stay away from any tropes that are not neccesary to write fantasy, as I thoroughly despise non-creativity. There shall be no harems, no unrealistic behavior and absolutely no standard scene of dimwitted bandits that try to rob whatever similarly rock-brained princess they encounter. The main character is not black and white, because no human is completely good or completely evil. They’re human, not some idealistic concept of what one is supposed to be. Then they decided it would be fun to make some monsters, and most people liked it, cause the gods protected them, and they liked this new kind of entertainment. And then The Guardians decided it would be fun to start killing each other. Or so the legends say. The legends and The Eternal King, how claims to be a Guardian himself. Some people even believe that. Immortality. Godly powers. Knowledge beyond any sage. It would be good if he really was a Guardian, cause it was too much power for a man. Even if he did a lot of good for the people, and his whims were not as horrifying, as those of his predecessors, it was still not so easy to stay calm when he was getting his moods. Some people challenged him. Some tried to assassinate him. Despite their greed, their noble intentions, or whatever other reasons they had, The King was as immortal as ever. He survived fire and lighting. Blades and poisons. And then the gods decided to have some fun, and poke a stick into what was left of The Guardians.

This is literally going to be a running commentary of a girls life, especially as it relates to adventure and action This is going to be a continuous work, as I intend it to be a side project while I work on other books more decidedly, and I intend to rework chapters often, because I want this both to be a break from other titles, and a learning experience. I'm going to be trying to get a lot of people to comment on chapters so I can grow as a writer. So if you want to read, please do! and comment if you feel generous. Just keep in mind, releases will likely be veeeeery far apart. (Note: I try to put out a chapter a month, though that doesn't always happen depending on school, work, and generally how well I'm doing, energy-wise)
