《Democracy in Cultivation World》14 - Training Plan

Majid finally understood the problem, his analysis concentrated on positive effects, how Qi benefited the prior levels so that they grow stronger over time, and was blind to the other face of the coin. But with this piece of information, he turned his reasoning upside down. Since it took less time to finish the next levels, maybe they get affected negatively by the prior ones instead. 'But just how,' he thought he finally found it, but it wasn't that easy. So he analyzed the data from his memories, indeed it's not like their specialization get stronger, it remains the relatively the same. The small progress it made can be attributed to their training. Like what happened with him, since he trained his agility even though he already finished the legs level, it still grows stronger due to the faint channels. Cultivators didn't concentrate on their cultivation alone, they try to raise their specialty's techniques as well.
'Most likely the leakage happens between channels'. The leakage theory found its way back for the third time. The only difference this time in his conclusion, there are possible side effects to this leakage. Even though Qi seeps into the other parts of the body, they are not the aim of the training, all the benefits are reaped by the targeted organ. So the organs gain nothing from the leakage, but the channels keep solidifying, the later levels become shorter and shorter as a result. When the boy trained in his Fist and Steps technique, only his agility, strength and stamina increased. While it's clear from the status the other organs didn't benefit. His toughness and his Vitality are low, his senses are only higher because it counts his soul in.
'But in that case why the faint channels don't solidify...'
Maybe they fade over time, 'no that can't be,' instead, they should grow more substantial if the leakage happens. His brain started to ache, and the monkey within revolted, it wanted to do something fun. He persisted though, calming the bothersome guy down. Possibly, they are somehow cut off the Qi supply, before they could solidify. Over time they grow fainter until they disappear before a cultivator soul grows enough to sense them. 'Wait if this is true!' he was once again was left speechless. If this was true then he just found an unprecedented discovery again. 'I knew it,' a world where knowledge is monopolized is a rich mine for discoveries. Even on earth where one might think there was nothing left to uncover, millions of scientists register their reachers with new discoveries every year. He needs more data to confirm his theories, but there is no way to get them for the moment, he yearned for the cultivation school. 'Its fairly reasonable let's base my ideas on it.' He still has the system, he can try them out and study the results.
When he added his soul to the equation a bold idea surfaced in his mind. With his powerful soul, could he nourish all the organs at once? 'Yeah why not,' his soul is more than 3 times stronger than the boy'. His soul can benefit from the exertion. If this worked it will result in phenomenal results. All his next levels would grow in parallel, and his overall cultivation speed would multiply several-fold. Just thinking about all of this, his tongue salivated and almost hangs out like a dog.

'isn't this about the best way to train'
He couldn't wait any longer to put it to the test. His channels appeared in his mind like a pen was drawing them one after another. As the number of channels grows, the pace slowed down. He was forced to stop, he started to lose track of some of the first ones. 'So there a reason why no one tried this,' but he wasn't about to give up yet, this is the juncture where he can strain his soul and force it to grow. And he already proved his theory to some extent, he can sense all the faint channels on his muscles, as well as a lot of them in his bones and skin.
He can't use all his channels but he can sense a lot them, how can he use that. His mind slowed down, as his breathing calmed. All the knowledge and analysis in his mind started to fight with each other, trying to take the spotlight, and plans started to take shape.
'It doesn't matter if I can't sense all'. He can still cultivate all by switching his soul's focus. Training all is the most important here!
Finishing his contemplation, he went outside, he wanted to keep track of the time, as no light makes it to the depths of the cave, even if he didn't build his wall. It was early morning, he took some deep breaths, cool air trickled inside refreshing his chest, a symphony was playing from everywhere, grander than anything he saw back on earth. He found his way back, he stopped in his track as he comes near the spirit source, his hand knocked on his head.
'System can you show me some kind calendar'
[user request is possible]
He let a deep sight, 'Show me your calendar'
[time 7:26 AM, 6d/5m/1106y, of The Thunder Gods Kingdom Establishment]
He cursed at the Kingdom before he went to the spirit source, it was an eyesore. His body submerged in the spiritual water. He cupped his hands in his lap, with his thumbs touching each other. His arms glowed, and vortex of Qi formed above him palms, a huge amount of Qi seeped in. It spread through the channels right into the muscles, bones, and the skin of his arms, bit by bit until they filled to the brim.
He got from his place and walked away, through the passages of the cave, he stopped by an almost flat surface in a wall. His hand swayed like snakes dancing to the playing of flutes. One of them hit the wall, Majid hugged his hand to his belly and jumped in his place. "F-F-F**K!" his cheeks kept puffing for a while.
The plan was training three or more levels at the same time. Using his fist technique would increase his strength, but hitting a wall, the sturdiness of his skin and bones would increase as well. And do the same thing with his legs, This way he would reduce 7 levels into 3 levels. And he could do similar arrangements with the other organs. But all of his plans went down the drain. The difference between his power and sturdiness is just that great, his hand almost split open hitting the wall.

The space mood darkened, his eyes were vacant as was on his way back to the base. He caught sight of a big shadow from the corner of his eye. They sparkled at what they saw. 'This is it!' he jumped straight into action. He looked around for something, he picked up rocks and throw them after taking a look. He repeated this until he found a sharp rock. He sharpened it even more in against another rock. Satisfied, he went to the Ape body, it doesn't show any sign of rotting, well it wasn't time yet for that. He made a deep cut in its from the Chest downward and worked his way skinning the body.
He didn't skin the whole body, just enough to satisfy his needs, he cut 2 pieces off the skin, in the shape of long trapezoids and cut some stripes. He dried them from inside with the fire and fixed them on his elbows. 'Let me show you now, who's the boss,' he goes back to his opponents and hit the wall carefully this time. He still traumatized by his previous experience. 'It OK,' he increased his power with each strike, the thought skin, and the fur cushioned the damage perfectly. He still remembers how much he suffered from it when he fought the Ape. His hand still received moderate damage, and that was exactly his aim.
Before starting his training, he took a copy of his status and techniques progress to study the changes later.

His hands swayed again and swung at the wall, elbows and shoulder strikes mixed into the fry as his body waved. Shadows intertwined with each other, resounding throughout the cave, Qi seeped into his arms, replenishing them as soon as they consumed some of it. The numbness in his arms grows and grows, but he continues until he couldn't feel them anymore. He goes back to recover.
He stopped by the ape and made many pads, for all of the sensitive parts of his body, his knees, shin, back, and so on.
This time he cultivated his legs and then his torso, after that he goes back to the training ground with a wide space. His steps started, he waved between the wall like a slippery lizard, moving back and forth. Hits with his legs, and knees rained, his sides and back crashed against the walls. His bones were battered, and blisters run all his legs and sides, he took some time to recover.
He looked for around and picked up a small boulder. He crashed down on his back, then his chest on the ground. He changed the boulders until he found one that challenges his resilience. With each crash the muscles of his torso contrasted to cushion the blow, his bones crackled.
The muscles of his torso sag by the time he stopped. He was out of the time line deep in the cave, indifferent whether it was day or night. He sat in the water and started to recover. A slapping session followed, he hesitated at first whether to train his heads toughness or not. He doesn't want to damage his brain cells after all. He consulted his memories, and it doesn't seem like it has a side effect. The Qi does his wonders protecting the brain. It just so happen that he wasn't able to strengthen his fingers and palm, his face and neck were slapped like never before, his face became blue only his nose stack out with redness going along with his neck. His finger piled up and drum on his head like a woodpecker, leaving bumps all over his head swelling themselves in the process. He was calm through breathing slowly, tears flowed from his closed eyes.
The pecking ticks only stopped with the gurgling of his stomach. "OK, I understand dear", his stomach gurgled again. "Just wait for a second, I will make you a great meal." he pet his stomach, "I know! I know! the one you like, ok." He kept his romantic talk with his stomach for a while as it won't stop grumbling. He only stopped when he sensed the foxes' presence. He smiled awkwardly as Fiery was looking at him with a frown, she was looking better though. The foxes kept their attendance never missing a meal, even though he set no appointment. 'Should I start to charge them, heh!' It seems they fell in love with his cooking. "What would you do when I leave guys." He shook his head, sad, just sad. "Ok, I will teach you, guys," he nodded contently. Since they were dependent on him, he felt like he was using some master skills, not just expose the meat to fire. Fiery eyes twitched, 'Just don't burn the meat again,' she thought.
He goes back to the apes, his eyes sized up the body, looking between the meaty parts like he was in a buffet. He goes for the chest, it was protruded asking to be taken. He started to cut some piece, a glow suddenly escaped between the flesh, his hands bounced away like they were hit by an electrical current. 'I forgot completely!', he stuck his hand in the meet looking after it, a white spherical crystal come out with his hand, glowing white. But he doesn't have use for it right now. Though the Ape's core is neutral, and he can consume it, he already has the spirit source. He made a makeshift bag from the ape's skin and put it away for later, he decided to collect some of this when the time comes closer to enter the school.
Foxy whined with his head down, so he stopped his idling and back to take some meat. Now that he thought about it, even the beast's meat was beneficial, it was a high-quality cultivation resource as the beast level was high. Every part of the body is beneficial to the corresponding organ of his body. it would help his cultivation tremendously. He put his hand against each other, 'I will not let anything go to waste.' He made a promise in respect for the Ape's sacrifice. Even the bones, he would find a way to use them. The ape soul cursed at him.

Until You Do It Right
The world ended on December thirty-first of the year two thousand and twenty, precisely at the stroke of midnight. The human race began to be systematically exterminated by the spawn of the System. We were given a chance to defeat them, to take back our place at the top of the food chain. We failed. The first to perish were those who bravely rebelled. The soldiers. The defenders. One by one, they fell. In their final moments, they begged for aid. Nobody replied. The next to succumb were those who feebly cowered. The deniers. The leeches. Together, they fell. In their final moments, they cried out into the darkness. Countless voices replied in kind. The last to decline were those who shamelessly ran. The deserters. The cowardly. Alone, they fell. In their final moments, they whimpered quietly. There was nobody left to answer. The final human to die was a survivor. A runner. As he died, he begged for salvation. His prayers were answered. He was offered a chance to save himself, along with all of humanity, and he took it. This is his story. “I sat in the dark and thought: There’s no big apocalypse. Just an endless procession of little ones.”― Neil Gaiman, Signal to Noise. I am absolutely new to writing and will take any and all constructive criticism. Please give feedback, it is greatly appreciated. I will update the tags as they change, and I hope that you enjoy this little story I'm writing! Quick warning: Seamus is intentionally a flawed character, and this story is going to explore those flaws and perhaps even change a few of them. I do not agree with all of his actions, but it is what it is.
