《The Putrid Assassin (Complete)》Chapter #12

The next day when I woke up I realized it was my day off. I worked 5 days of the week. I wonder what noona did on her days off. The herbs seemed like something I could achieve. I mean I had already got one of them how hard could the others be? The only problems is I had no idea where they grew I knew that they were deeper in the forest. But beyond that, I had no idea. So it would be a good idea to go into the town's marketplace and collect some info about the forest that bordered the graveyard. So I strapped on my boots and my buckle and left to the marketplace.
The market place was located in the middle of town it was covered by a bamboo roof and had many stalls inside with each selling an assortment of products. Most of the products were grade one and had no variations but there were a few hidden experts in this marketplace that delt in superior goods and services. I walked in and instantly I heard a voice that said
"Boy come over here I sell the perfect thing for you"
I glanced over and he was selling paintings of clothless ladies.
"Interesting I will definitely come back and purchase one I said as I walked past."
I found that this is the best way to deal with merchants.
The next both were hung with swords.
The owner saw me glance at his wares and instantly spoke
"Boy look over here I have scimitars, long swords, and broad swords for sale." I could afford a better blade but i had been originally saving my money for an explosion metor magic spear. That I was going to use on the nobles but now I had the poison plan.

"Do you have any information on were to find specific herbs in the beast forest or any items that can reduce presence or life-saving measures?" I asked
I only sell swords but if you buy one I might be able to point you in the right direction" he spoke with a small cough
Well, do you have any small swords that increase the pain of the person cut or reduce presence?"
Are you the mad boy who would make that kind of sword?"
If you don't then I'll just ask the next stall I said and pretended to walk off.
Wait boy, I may have something"
he said as he pulled out a blade that had a dispoportiantly larger head then the body.
This blade when it goes into flesh the tip spreads out like an umbrella and you can control the metal wires with your quix."
"Perfect I'll take it and that information that you promised me."
"The one who can tell you about the forest is the dressmaker's she is on the east side of the market. She used to be an adventurer"
He told me quietly
I handed him the gold for the weird sword and then went off to find the dressmaker.
As soon as I got to the east side I saw the dressmaker I walked up and asked.
"Do you have any cloth that reduces the presence and someone told me for the right price you could tell me where to find herbs in the forest. I need a paralysis flower and a poison vine."
She sized me up and took a good five seconds. Probably cause most people that asked for such murderous ingredients could be a danger to her.
"I do indeed have all these things but what can you give me?"

I pulled out all the wages that I had been saving. She reached and took them out of my hand and said
"This will do for a medium grade good and some info. The poison vine and paralysis flower are found in these locations" she scribbled on a paper and handed it to me.
Then she reached under her desk and grabbed a square that was made completely out of glass and gave it to me.
"Drip a drop of blood onto this."
I did what she said and instead of running off, it absorbed it.
When you need to hide simply put your thumb on this and it will expand and create a hidden space using mirrors."
How does that even work" I asked doubtfully
"It uses mirrors and expands into a huge cube and you just have to stand inside of it. It only really works from a distance and anyone that sees you use it won't be fooled but it's better than nothing."
What an interesting thing "what's your name again" I asked
Its jatu" she replied
Alright, bye jatu" I said as I walked away.
That night inside my room I fiddled with the mirror cube it worked by projecting the image of what was behind it onto the surface. I planned to test it out on noona tommorow and see how effective it was. I lay down and hoped for a pleasant dream.

⚠️ MATURE⚠️ This story contains strong use of language and mature scenes. If you are offended easily do not read. ________________________________________________I felt something tug my hair behind my ear and I snuggled my head deeper into the pillow. Suddenly I felt someone straddle my back. I gasped and my eyes flew open as I swung my hands forward to push myself up and whatever was on me off. I groaned as I fell back down to the heavy weight, someone was on top of me. The person grabbed my hands and held them above my head with a firm grip. "P-please let go of m-me" I choked out, tears starting to run down my face from fear. "You are so beautiful." A male voice whispered in my ear as he grabbed my bottom, squeezing it.I screamed but got cut off as he put his hand over my mouth, flipping my body around. He was now sitting on my middle section. He was wearing all black, I could tell that it was the man from earlier. He has a cloth mask on, opening for his eyes and mouth only. Cold brown eyes met my green ones and I whined in fear as he stayed deadly still, studying my face.My shirt had rode up past my belly button during the struggle and his eyes raked over my showing skin, lust filling them. I struggled, trying to move my legs and arms to get away but he was too strong. "If you scream again, I'm going to kill you." He growled. I groaned in response, tears running down my face. He slowly released his hand from my mouth and reached into his pocket pulling out a knife and zip tie. I figured that if I didn't scream I would want to die if this man took me so I did what I had to do. I let out a bloodcurdling scream loud enough to wake up the whole entire neighborhood.
