《Primordial Dimensions》Lord of the Valley

'F**k' was the only thing Shane could think of and Umbra who was coiled around his neck shivered in fright.
It was fortunate that this gigantic snakes piercing gaze didn't kill them, but that was it.
Being woken up from its deep slumber the Lord of the valley was still tardy, but the surrounding noises and bright shining lights which even pierced through the mud enraged it, causing the current situation Shane was in.
There was only one kind of snake that came into Shane's mind, when he sat the football-sized yellow slits was the [Colossus Darkness-python] and it was an existence in the mid/later ranks of the Awakened stage, which was the highest possible stage that would be allowed to stay within the Basic primordial dimensions.
It seemed as if the colossus darkness-python was woken up by him and Shane didn't even think of remaining at his current position as he immediately activated his title's skill [Berserk(F)] for the first time, enhancing his strength and mana circulation by 10% for the next ten seconds.
Turning around without looking back, Shane circulated mana within his lower body and enveloped his feet by a mana layer in order to not slip on the muddy ground
Sprinting straight towards the invisible marker he set up before descending into the valley a distance of more than 15 meters was already crossed in two seconds.
But this was not fast enough as Shane could faintly feel death approaching him from behind, as he looked back only to see a body with a length of more than 30 meters sticking out of the mud.
`You gotta be kidding me!` Shane shouted in his mind and he didn't even want to imagine how fast this snake could be.
His dagger was already sheathed in order to use his arms more freely and another second passed before the colossus darkness-pythons body was completely revealed.
Its head with a size of a freezer, a forty meters long black scaled body, and yellowish slits, piercing into his back was already frustrating, but Shane was also in a valley surrounded by mud, and climbing it up was already extremely difficult with a few peak-wild staged beasts slightly less than a week ago.

And now he should do the same while being chased by a gigantic monstrum?
'THANKS?!' Shane shouted to himself and with a loud BANG, the colossus darkness-python landed firmly on the mud splashing it away.
Once it started its pursuit, Shane knew that it was over as the colossus darkness-python was more than three times faster on the muddy ground, even though he was giving his best.
Taking out two prismarine-luminous crystals at the same time, he overclocked one and threw it towards the back while trying to maintain a 45-degree angle.
Dazzling the colossus darkness-python, it closed its eyes and tried to find the intruder but weirdly enough, it couldn't find Shane at all, forcing it to open the still faintly dazed eyes.
Fortunately, Shane used his concealment potion, in order to cover his shallow cultivation and not even the slightest trace of mana radiated from him.
This also included the mana he used to envelop his boots, which was fortunate, otherwise he would have slow down.
Sensing that the colossus darkness-python slowing down, Shane sighed in relief and if it was needed, he would just purchase a bunch of prismarine-luminous crystals until he arrived at the BlackSoul shelter, where reinforcement would support his survival.
The main problem however was, that Shane didn't have enough mana to envelop his boots, overclock the prismarine-luminous crystals, throwing them away once filled and circulate a set amount of mana within his lower body.
He could purchase mana stones to lighten up the prismarine-luminous crystals with his initiator but the mana fluctuations would be detected by the colossus darkness-python even with its eyes closed.
In the end, this meant he wouldn't be able to use mana stones and had to rely on his own mana pool for the time being.
Shane had still one more prismarine-luminous crystal stored in his spatial ring and one in his hand.
If they worked as good as the first prismarine-luminous crystal did, Shane would definitely reach valleys hillside with a decent distance between him and the colossus darkness-python but unfortunately, beasts at the awakened stage weren't that dumb and he ordered the system to purchase three additional prismarine-luminous crystals for one gold coins.

With his remaining mana pool, purchasing more was a waste and even if he wanted to, he wouldn't be able to overclock more than the three additional prismarine-luminous crystals he purchased.
There were only three seconds from his [Berserk(F)] skill remaining as he threw another overclocked prismarine-luminous crystal towards the back.
Weirdly enough, it was perfectly timed and exactly when the colossus darkness-python opened its eyes, the overclocked crystal released its bright light dazzling the python once again.
This enraged it and with a glimpse of its eyes, the colossus darkness-python noted where Shane was currently at, as it charged rough towards the direction, with its eyes still closed.
Right as Shane's berserk state was over, he noticed that the colossus darkness-python charged past him, causing shock, almost a heart attack, and goosebumps covered his whole body.
Charging straight into the hillside, the colossus darkness-python's head was burrowed below the mud and Shane used all his remaining courage to run past it, while he activated his [Berserk(F)] skill for the second time.
There was only one usage left for the whole day and Shane already felt exhausted after the skill's effect dissipated for the first time.
Shane wasn't sure if he would overcome the excessive exhaustion if he activated the berserk skill three times in a row and he didn't want to test it out, if possible.
Running past the colossus darkness-python, Shane overclocked another prismarine-luminous crystal, before he threw it high in the air, adjusting the angle for it to be in front of the position where the gigantic snake charged into.
Pulling its head out of the mud, the colossus darkness-python looked around, trying to find where Shane was right now when another bright shining light filled its vision.
Crying out in pain due to the constant bright dazzling lights, Shane felt suddenly a terrifying sensation squirming through his body and he reacted subconsciously, throwing himself to the side with Umbra clenching onto his neck as well as possible.
Shane's neck turned faintly red due to Umbra strangling him but he didn't even notice that, as he saw a one-meter meter deep hole to his left with a diameter of twenty centimeters.
Forcing himself to stand up, Shane could see that to his right, where he stood a moment ago, another hole with a meter depth and a diameter of twenty centimeters appeared.
The colossus dark manifested hundreds of large darkness needles and shot them towards the hillside, almost piercing Shane, which caused a trace of fear to emerge within Shane, even though he had the [Hunter's Mind] passive effect.
Cold sweat poured down his back and with 7 seconds left on his berserk state, Shane sprinted upwards, looking desperate at the direction the invisible marker was at.
He still had three primarine-luminous crystals left, but his gut-feeling told him, that right now was the last time they could be used for good and he overclocked all of them at once, throwing one with a high angle towards the right, another one to the lift, while the last one was thrown upwards.
With this, Shane wanted the colossus darkness-python to be one last time dazzled as he rushed towards the valley's top.
The hillside was slightly harder to ascend but Shane was fortunately still alone thanks to the three star-like lights illuminating the darkness enveloped valley.
Opening the system's shop, Shane had to think of a solution as fast as possible.
