《Sun Collector》Chapter #63 The Item Outpost

We sat there for a while until it got night. We both stood and she kissed me on my lips. We embraced and then I left. I walked down the road in darkness towards my house. I climbed into my bed and went to sleep. The next day I went to the gates. I asked grand elder if he could escort me.
"Yes I can take you there" grand elder said to me. "Okay thank you". With that grand elder spoke "Rose you have today off".
"I wish you good luck sun collector". Rose said to me.
With that I followed grand elder to the other side of the outpost where there was a pathway leading into the forest. We started running down the pathway. I watched as the scenery changed from the forest to wide open planes and then back to forest. We came across many heartbeasts but they were all 10 year heartbeasts and not a threat to us.
Eventually, we arrived at large wooden gates. They opened as soon as they saw us. And we entered into the outpost. We made our way to the middle of the outpost where the crafting building was. But instead of going to craft we went upstairs to the leader of the outpost were I got introduced to jhon who lead the outpost.
They talked for a while and then grand elder told me that he had made it so I could use any heartbeat part I wanted for crafting but I had to make him three magic swords in exchange.
I agreed to it. "Your name is sun collector?" jhon asked me. "Yes that's what I should be called.
"Okay if grand elder backs you then I have no objections". jhon said
"Okay can I have a place to stay here?"

'Yes we have a house that's not being used by anyone you can stay there". jhon said
Grand elder patted me on the back and said "Looks like everything set up for you".
"You will be well taken care of I promise you that". Jhon said
With that we left his office and headed to my new home. It was a small house with a shaded porch and a small courtyard. "This will do". I said
"Make all the items sun collector". he said to me. "Okay," I said.
With that grad elder was off he jogged down to the gate and went through with that he was gone and I was in another outpost. the first thing I needed was a chair. I pulled one outside from in the house and sat down. The sun warmed my body while I thought about the items I was going to make. I currently had 400 mana. I watched as the number on my arm went up.
I decided to spend my first day in my courtyard and not go out. There was some leftover food in the house I had eaten. So I could get mana from the sun.
I had taken my glasses with me so that I could check up on them. I went to bed after that. The next day When I got up I decided to make a sword. I walked to the crafting building it. Went down the stairs and into the huge basement where the crafting chest was. I looked around until I found a huge bone it must have come from a huge animal it looked to be a hundred year old. I put it in the crafting chest and imagined the sharpest sword possible. I poured 500 mana in and then I pulled a bone sword out. I examined it and it had a color to it. I took it upstairs to get it appraised by the shop clerk that was on your right as soon as you walked into the crafting building.

I walked up and out of the basement crafting room. "Can I get a sword appraised I asked.
"Yes" I handed him the sword and his eyes showed shock. This is a mythic grade sword the value is huge. Id like to turn in this sword as part of the three magic swords I have to make."Okay I didn't realize the talent you have for crafting". Because this sword is beyond my expectations you can eat at the cafeteria for free today.
"Okay, that sounds great". I made my way to the cafeteria and everyone's food was all meat apparently they weren't gathered here but were instead hunters. I had some ten year deer that I ate happily.
There were a lot of new buildings to explore and items that I wanted to craft. I needed to get food at the cafeteria for life. I was going to miss berry salad. They were all hunters because this was the item outpost and you needed heartbeast parts to make items.
I went home and sat outside until it became dark I had 200 mana. I needed to make a friend that lived here. I went to sleep that night.
The next day I went to the crafting building again. In the basement where all the materials were there was lots of ores and metal and leather there was everything needed to craft.
I picked out the most common ore which was iron with a little bit of mana in it. I then put it in the box with leather and wood I put 100 mana in the box while thinking about sharpness. When I reached in I found a danger that looked like it was best for harvesting. I went upstairs and had it appraised by the clerk. He looked surprised to see me. He was disappointed that I hadn't made something better. "I would like to trade this in for meals at the cafeteria". I said to him.
"This dagger will get you 10 days worth of food". Thats a fair trade I thought. "Thank you" I said to him.
I was going to craft the next two magic swords they were going to be rare grade.
