I spent the whole day trying to memorize it and then I went home and slept. The next morning I got up clara was waiting there for me like she always did. "Get up sleepy head" I sat up in bed and asked "is it time to eat"

"Yes its time lets go" I got out of bed and changed in the restroom and then I walked out of the courtyard with her and then down the road. By the time we arrived her father had sat down at the table to he ate a different color fish me and clara had grey fish. His was red and it wasn't one of the ones we had caught. We have to discuss things he said. "Okay, dad what do you want." I want to know how your fishing trip went and I want to choose what the ability rings sun collector here is going to make.

"I can make whatever you want me to." If that was true Id ask for a second teir ring. "I want them all to be related to fishing." "Okay consider it done," I said. We ate in silence after that. Three normal teired rings were that easy to make. Eventually, we got done with our food and I went to the library by myself this time and tried to memorize the map again. Then I went home and went to bed.

The next morning clara was standing there waiting for me to wake up. We walked together towards her house when clara asked me "Do you have a girlfriend." I thought about it and said I don't. "Then what would you think of the two of us going out?" I looked down the road and said "Ill go out with you."

"Thats a promise mister." With that we arrived at our family courtyard once again we both sat down and ate the yellow fish we had caught it was half a fish. As we ate our teeth started to glow the yellow fish glowed in the dark when it was alive and we got some on our teeth by eating it.

We smiled at each other while eating. Our smiles glowed it was special to me.

"Im going to the library do you want to come?" she looked at me and said "I have training. "For what?" I asked her.

"For the sandbar competition," I remembered that was put on by the government to rank families and scout talents and to show off status.

"Well Ill miss you" I said as I went to the library again I spent the whole day again memorizing the map. Then I went and went to sleep. The next morning when I woke up clara wasn't there I made myself some coffee and drank it then I went to her house. The sentries let me past without saying anything. I arrived at our tucked away table. To see clara already eating. I sat down and started eating too. "Where were you this morning? I asked her. I had to train I'm telling you I have to train that much. Im training with a sword so I can win the competition. "Okay I said just know I miss you."

"Okay I'm going to the library to study today with that I went to the obelisk opened up the map and tried to memorize it again. Then I went home and went to bed. The next day when I got up clara was standing there waiting for me in a dress. "Whats the occasion?" I asked her. "I dressed nice because I've been missing out on waking you up."

"Oh okay do you want some coffee?" she walked into the kitchen with me. "Yes I would like some." We sat at the table and drank coffee. "So are you going to tell me what happened to your family. I figured I could trust her. "My family was all killed here that's how I became the sun collector." "Do you know why?" she asked me.

"No I don't I don't even know who did it." I said

"If you did know who did it would you try and get revenge?" Yes I would. With that we went to claras house and sat at the table we always set at for breakfast. We had grey fish there was only two more days of fish left. I went to the obelisk to study the map some more. Clara came with me and started reading a book on combat in the library. The whole day passed and she walked me home. "Can I get a hug goodbye?" she asked me.

"Yes" I said while I wrapped her in my arms. "I will be back first thing tomorrow she said" I released her from my arms and watched as she walked down the road towards her house. I went inside and went to bed.

The next day when I woke up I saw clara standing in front of me in a red dress. "You keep wearing nice clothes" I said

"Yes, I've been wearing girl clothes now that we associate with each other. We walked out of my dusty courtyard and down the road to claras house.

As we walked through the gates to the courtyard the sentinels hit their spears against the ground. "I asked them to do that, pretty amazing huh."

We made our way to the table and chairs that was nestled behind the bushes. "Fish again is what we were going to have." No wonder all deep sea fishermen were strong. One day of fishing could strengthen your body that much.

"We need to do something together before I go back to the outpost. Ill be leaving in two days."

Clara started frowning and looked sad. "I don't want you to go" she said to me.

"Im useless here I was born to be a crafter not a fighter or a fisherman." I said

"Train with me a little today" she said to me.
