By the time we arrived at the docks we had run out of stuff to talk about. I saw the boat and we walked up next to it. We knew it was our boat because it had claras family crest on it. With a step off the dock and onto the boat we were ready to go. The boat only had two people on it. One was the captain and the other one was a fisherman.

As we stood there waiting we were asked a bunch of questions by both of them. After they had been satisfied the fisherman untied the boat from the dock and then hopped in. With the mana engine coming to life we made our way out towards the ocean.

"This is going to be so much fun" clara said while grasping my arm. "I hope so" I said. I watched as we followed the other boats out to sea.

"Were not going anywhere dangerous were just going to fish with the other boats as I don't want to endanger anyone. Aperntly you two are very important people."

With that we went crashing over the waves eventually we arrived at a group of 5 fishing boats in a circle. These boats could hold ten people at max.

"Alright time to throw your lines in" said the old fisherman

We dropped our lines into the water I stood next to clara and we fished together. I felt a bite and then a great pull downwards with a lift up I started reeling it in. I struggled and struggled with the fish for three minutes.

Eventually I got it up and in the boat. It was a hundred year old grey fish. It wasn't very big but it had enormous strength in the water. The old fisherman put it into the boats cooler.

The next fish that was caught was by the old fisherman he had skill. He would pull up then reel some eventually he got the fish into the boat. It was a hundred year swordfish.

Clara caught the next fish it was another grey fish with small fins. They must be feeding beneath us. We continued to fish pulling up grey fish. Clara pulled up a yellow fish with massive fins.

"Luckily for you both there are no thousand year fish you would get pulled overboard" he said

With another round of us catching grey fish the cooler was full and we had to head back.

On the way back I thought of how much it would cost to be a deep sea fisherman. There was the cost of the boat the fishing rods that were mana items and the strength required to pull a fish in had to be a lot. These were the expenses it took to be a deep sea fisherman.

With the wind blowing, we couldn't speak to each other on the way back. As soon as we got too the docks. Clara grabbed my arm and said "that was fun" she said "Yes it was" I responded.

"The fish will be delivered to your house" the old fisherman said.

"Lets go to your house, my house is nice and all but I like your house because nobody home."

"Okay" I responded

"Is it alright if I hold your hand?"she said. I guess its okay me and madison weren't currently dating. She was waiting for me to come back.

We grabbed each others hands and made our way back to my house. I sat outside in one of my chairs.

Clara sat next to me "You do know that you have five free meals at my house now" she must have been talking about the fish we caught.

"You have a chef I just eat tuna ill come over and eat all your food."" I missed my chef at the outpost."Starting tomorrow you have to come over everyday and eat the fish we caught together."

"Okay that sounds like fun." I said. She stayed with me in the courtyard for a while and then went invisible and left to go to her house.

After accumulating mana all day I went inside and went to bed.

The next day when I woke up I knew clara was going to be standing there so I kept my eyes shut.

When I did open them she was standing there staring at me. "You could wake me up you know." I told her.

" I like you living here, how long until you go back to the outpost?" "Ill go back in a week."

"Is that okay?" I asked "what is the outpost like I've never been" Its a place for gathering and having fun" I said

"Dont a lot of people die on the main land." she said "Yes but the ones that don't die get very strong."

"Thats how I got stronger." You are strong for your age we are the same age but I'm stronger then you. "Whens your 17 birthday?" Its in a few months."

"Mine to I said." With that she grabbed my hand and started walking towards her house. As soon as I got there I was reminded how rich our family is. I say that because I'm a member of the family.

"Where are we going?" I asked her "Right over here I had them set up a table and chairs outside.In the front of the courtyard right by the little stream was a table and chairs surrounded by large bushes. I followed claras example and sat down.. Soon we were both brought cooked grey fish. It was one of the fish we had caught. "Look how strong we are, we got these ourselves. "Yes I still cant believe your stronger then me." I said.

"I promise ill make you another ring when I get back to the outpost. Your body is clearly strong enough to support it." What kind of ring would you like?" I asked her. "I would like my stealth upgraded so I can go anywhere!"
