1 month later

In this one month I have been cultivating 10 hours a day, which boosted my power and I finally started stepping into the cultivation world as I step in the first rank of muscle refinements.I stayed on that stage for a couple of days and broke to rank 2 muscle refinement. Which was 13 days ago and I still haven't broken to the 3rd rank.It was the biggest problem for me cause I'm taking so long to break through sub stages and at this speed it might take 3 years to break through muscle refinement stages.

Which means that only the next stage will at least take me 7-10 years. Which at this speed I will die of old age from trying to break through 5th stage. The solution to the speed of my cultivation was pretty obvious, and that is to upgrade my innate talent or physique, but I used all of the 10 upgrade cards last month. I asked the system for how I could get upgrade cards. It gave me 2 solutions, one that I already knew, which was to level up your cultivation state. Which I already did and it gave me 4 upgrade cards. Meaning that the sub stages give 2 upgrade card. I haven't used the upgrade cards yet and am waiting to upgrade my innate talent to improve my cultivation speed. I'm waiting to upgrade my innate talent from rare to super rare, which makes my cultivation speed twice as fast as having a rare innate talent.

The second option was that I kill any living thing and it has a 1 /10 chance of dropping an upgrade card and the chances would improve as the cultivation of that being increased. The chances in the first 2 cultivation stage 1/10, 3 to 4 is 2/10, 4 to 6 3/10, the increase in the drop rate goes up as long as the cultivation is higher than stage 1 to 2.I knew that farming the cards would be the hardest thing to do since, it's not 100% rate of dropping. Now I have to at least kill 300 rank 1 monsters to get 24 upgrade points.

After learning so much stuff about how to gain upgrade cards, I decided to go to the guild in the city that I was living next to and accept a mission where I had to kill rank 1 monsters in the forest. I made a plan for myself to follow each day in the following days to give my mind a good understanding of what I'm going to do. I decided to do the following things before I left this place,

1= have an ultra rare innate talent

2= break through the break through muscle refinement stages

I went back inside the brown timber house and looked for Lucy, I didn't have to look around for long before I found her. I look at her face than I, said "I'll be going in the city to look for a mission that we could accept", after saying that I waited for her reply, "Okay just be careful when you are there "I exit the house and start walking towards the city surrounded by a wooden wall. I start to walk through the green trees, the surrounding started to change from the green trees to a wooden wall, that has a gate in the middle of it, connected to a long road stretching through the other side of the forest. I went in front of the door to only be stopped by a gate guard wearing a silver equipment's."Stop! You have to pay the fee for getting in the city"

I look at him for a couple of second before reaching into my pocket to pick up the guild membership card that the original body had. I showed the card to the guard and he moved from my way and let me come inside the city. I started to follow the memories of the original Eric and walk through this small city of about 1 Km. This city had a lot of small shops on the streets with people buying and selling stuff.

I didn't pay much attention to my surroundings as I knew that I wasn't going to stay here any longer than 4 months or 1 year. If it was up to me, I wouldn't stay here for a second, but for me to walk out of this place, I have to upgrade my innate talent to ultra rare, so I at least could have one thing that improved my worth to the sect that I'm going to join in the future. I was thinking about how I could improve my cultivation when I noticed that I have already reached the guild. I stopped thinking about anything else and start to walk inside the guild, I got into the guild and no one paid attention to me and we're doing what they were meant to do. I went up to the mission board and looked around to find a suitable mission to my requirement. There were mission like "Find the semi-spiritual herb petals heart,

Reward: 100 gold, difficulty B"

"Kill:1 rank 3 strength refinement stage monster, reward:1000gold, Difficulty: C"

"I find the spiritual beast wolf emperor' reward: 100000 gold, Difficultly: A+"

"Kill: 1000 monsters and bring back their claws, reward:10000, Difficulty:B-" I chose the one where I had to kill 1000 monsters and bring back their claw cause it was the most suitable and easy one for me to do right now and get upgrade cards. I did the maths in my brain and knew that I would at least get close 100 upgrade card and would be able to upgrade my talent twice if I kill 1500 rank 1 muscle refinement stage monsters. I ripped of the note of the board, but the moment I did that, I heard a girl's voice "Are you choosing that as your mission? if so, give me your guild card so I could put that mission under your name and if you don't complete it in a month it will be reported on the board" I gave her my guild card and she looked at my card for a while before starting to write something on the paper she was holding. She looked at me again and gave me the card while saying "all done, you can start the mission anytime want" I started to walk back outside the city and started to wonder how many monsters I have to kill each day to complete the mission.
