《The Infinite Item box IS the best thing someone can have on an adventure》Chapter 43 - Run

Nicko was running at a constant speed towards Jormun, the group wasn’t sure as to how long it was, but based on the sun direction, at least four hours. Rache was somehow able to manipulate the [Infinite Item Box] like Harrian. The group thought that Harrian had given Rache an [Title] of some sort, which the spider told them that they were correct.
Harrian was laid upon a massive amount of wool, still in a cold sweat, talking in his sleep. Enar was in a meditative position, whilst everyone else was around Harrian. Allanae was trying to access Harrians mind with the skill [Pheromone Magic] which made Harrian struggle every time she did so.
“Damn, I’m not sure either what Atogin or Harrian did, but it’s hard to get a glimpse of Harrians dreams,” Allanae explained.
“How did you do that? What [Species] of moth are you?” Atogin asked.
“[Magical Lunar Moth], I only [Evolved] once, adding the magical part, which allowed me to try and enter Harrians mind through a pheromone connection,”
But deep inside, it was his own struggle. Inside Harrians mind, there were four entities, two of them related to two [Skills]. His [Eye of Elements], which took form as the battle with Asger, and [Primal], a constantly changing form of limbs, eyes and size, keeping a semi-humanoid look constantly.
The skeleton of Harrian was there, even he was surprised about why he had no slime, until he looked next to him, revealing an old friend. Dropley the [Slime], a medium-size pink blob was next to the skeleton.
“It’s good to see you again,” The skeleton Harrian said.
“How's life with my body?” Dropley asked.
“Quite well actually, but as you see, I made us land in here,”
“öýȟˋ˫²˽Ȝ²üöý粈˂þþˋâ²Ȝýü,” The [Eye of elements] Harrian said.
“I know I did, and so I ask you to stay dormant,” Skeleton Harrian replied.
“IT’S NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!” [Primal] yelled, taking a few steps towards the skeleton Harrian. Dropley sprung to life and wrapped his body around the [Primal] Harrian.
“Take a few steps back, do we even know what this plane is, what happens if we are damaged in here,”
[Primal] grunted.
“My gratitude, now what should I call you two?”
“HARRIAN!!” The large one yelled.
“˷˂˫˫ƣ˂ç,” [Eye of elements] scoffed.
“I know I feel the closest to the original, but just call me Xendo,” The skeleton Harrian replied.
“Why Xendo of all names?” Dropley asked.
“My player in an old MMORPG I used to play, where I was a Necromancer, and a damn good one at that,”
“Very well, so then, do you know why were are in this plane, because I don’t,”
“IT’S BECAUSE XENDO IS TO RECKLESS, AND WE’RE HERE TO TAKE OVER HIS BODY WHEN HE AWAKES!!,”
“Not exactly,” Dropley added. “Technically, the Harrian you’re after is Xendo, but all he is a [Metal], no [Species], no nothing, so I don’t think he could bond to you, but the corruption language name might be able to bond to him,”
“Ï˫ˋãýüçâɲ˷˂â²˂áðˋ˫²˷ýȟ²ȟýçâˋ˫ƣçð²ˬüáȕ²ƣ¾˽²ãýâȜµ²ȕ˷ˋ²˂ãýüȕ²ˆ˂˫ˋ²âýç¾ȕ²ƣ²˽˂ȕȕˋ˫áµ²ȕ˫ƣȞƣ˂þ²ȕ˷ˋáˋ²ƣç²âˋ˂þ²âýç¾ȕ²ƣ,”
“So you don’t care about taking over my or Xendo’s body,” Dropley said, ˷˂˫˫ƣ˂ç was silent. “I see, if we are all in agreement, allow me and my bonny boy to leave,”

“Bonny boy?” The skeleton questioned.
“Don’t like calling you Xendo,”
The skeleton slowly nodded. “I see,”
“Now due to probably majority vote, may the bonny boy may leave,”
“What about you Dropley,” Xendo asked.
“I can only exist here now, the [Slime Core] has your name on it, saying that it isn’t my body anymore, but yours instead,”
“I understand, I would like this meeting to be over,” Xendo raised his right hand, ˷˂˫˫ƣ˂ç doing the same.
Outside of Harrians mind, he finally woke up, panting. Atogin yelled in celebration while Allanae fell over since the yelling broke her concentration. Harrian looked over to Enar, still in a meditative position and a small smile went across his face.
“Where are we?”
“In the forest again, Nicko found a certain speed which Nicko gains more [Stamina] then loses it,” Atogin explained.
“So he’s been running for how long?”
“Four to five hours at least,”
“Hold on,” Harrian cut the [Infinite Item Box] and jumped through it, jumping out of his tophat and threw Nicko into it.
As soon as the [Dragon-Kin] hit the soft layers of wool Harrian was just on, pain seeped into him. Most of the pain was in his legs, and everything from his waist up had the same amount of burning sensation. In a second, Nicko’s mind had realized that even though his [Stamina] had not drained, something else had grown.
Nicko screamed which awoke Enar, as she looked at Nicko with angry eyes.
“Owowowowowow!!,” Nicko screamed. “Enar help! Use [Numb]!!”
“My [Magic] is weak, and I need to focus on myself,”
Nicko looked up. “Harrian?”
“I’ll try and make a cocktail of painkillers on the side, can Atogin help out in this?”
“Got it, now what chemicals do I know that… oh yeah alcohol, do you have any berries?” A massive barrel appeared in front of Atogin, with an assortment of berries inside based on the smell. “Thanks!!”
Putting his hand in the barrel, a bright light appeared, as the liquid in the barrel grew smaller and smaller. When Atogin was finished, Harrian appeared, and put his right hand into the barrel and absorbed the liquid. Adding some more chemicals into the liquid, Harrians right hand changed into a cup, which Nicko drank out of.
Harrian then left as Nicko fell asleep, the small movements felt in the [Infinite Item Box] continued. Allanae and Atogin went into a seperate storage and began to do what everyone guessed was sparring.
In the meantime, Harrian had jumped around for about a day, before Nicko woke up. Enar didn’t flinch, until she felt a disturbance in the movement from outside, and opened her eyes. Harrian's voice like a deity from above bellowed down onto the two rooms.
“Attention this is your transport speaking we have arrived at our destination, or around it because I set up a [Portal] not too far away and the entire vermillion resistance is already here,”
Atogin and Allanae immediately left, with Enar getting up soon after, and leaving, not even batting an eye to Nicko. The [Dragon-Kin] struggled to get up, with Harrian coming in to help him up.

“Get up,” Harrian smiled.
“I think your drugs worked,” Nicko smiled back.
“Painkillers, mixed with some water and sleeping pills, you slept for about a day, not that you can tell in this infinite black room,”
“Yeah I guess so,” Nicko almost fell to his left, but collided with a wall, Harrian was sticking his left hand out.
“I can also make invisible walls like this, now get out,”
Nicko’s vision went blurry for a moment, before his eyes opened up, too see himself surrounded by hundreds of soldiers, waiting to attack. Atogin held Nicko up, smiling whilst Harrian appeared to his right side, patting his back.
Nicko felt a small pain, and turned to Harrian, as he patted his back at the direct moment.
“What did you do?”
“Caffeine right into your kidneys should wake you right up,”
Nicko’s eyes widened. “I already feel it,”
“Whatever, Atogins already went and said hi to his girlfriend,” Both of them looked at Atogin hugging Amra.
Nicko did a loud whistle, catching Atogin’s attention. Nicko put his thumb up, which Atogin responded by extending his middle finger. Both Harrian and Nicko laughed and told that it was time.
The two of them walked to Enar, Allanae, the two remaining generals, and Vespa. Atogin was right behind them.
“Finally, to rally the troops,” Vespa said.
“Tell me how many troops?” Nicko asked.
“We just reached four hundred soldiers after you left, after that we stopped stealing eggs,”
“Why? The underground caverns that you made allow you to enter and exit very quickly,”
“Here’s the thing… The last team tried to get more eggs, but, they instead found some green scales, they dug up and down, but still, the wall remained, one of the soldiers tried to attack it, but the wall wouldn’t budge or flinch,”
“I know what it is,” Nicko replied.
“What?”
“I’m not even going to try and pronounce it, but it’s most likely the world serpent from Norse mythology,”
“So you’re saying that we’re going to have to try and defeat a [Dragon]?”
“Yep, he’s guarding the royal palace of Grandage, something that is known to stretch around the world, although not likely the entire world, probably a few kilometres at it’s best here,”
“Nicko,” Harrian said in a worried tone. “That world serpent is probably ancient, and if infected with the spores, and if I could calm it down, it most likely won’t allow us to pass,”
“Why?” Enar asked Harrian.
“Because the king of Grandage controls the world serpent, Jörmungandr, in this world and it’s forest, and who is the ruler right now?”
“Dammit!,” Vespa yelled.
“Not to worry Vespa, I have a surprise,” Nicko stated.
“And what surprise would that be?” Atogin interjected.
“It’s a surprise, and you won’t talk me out of it,”
“Ok, but we need to create a plan, Allanae didn’t you get a map of some sort?”
“Yes, now let’s begin scheming,”
Everyone talked until the sun rose again, all of them waiting up, and the leaders of the revolution, facing their backs towards the capital in front of a pedestal. Vespa was right in front of it when the four generals and the [Heroes Party] were also present.
Vespa cleared her throat. “Greetings soldiers!!” The entire army cheered. “We all know that we are still quite young, all of us only a week or two old, but we are already this powerful,” Another cheer was heard. “We were able to escape from Beelzebubs clutches, and now we will overthrow him!!”
Vespa stood down from the pedestal, and went in front of Enar, nodding to her and taking her spot. Enar walked on top of the pedestal, and everyone grew silent, opening her mouth, Enar started her own motivational speech.
“As you know me, I am Enar Agne, the [Hero] of Kilvi, but that isn’t the only thing I am,” Enar stood off the pedestal and drew her rapier and swung it in the air. “I am a warrior, a [Humanoid], but what I also am is someone who is apart of the Vermillion resistance,”
Enar crushed her rapier in her hands as everyone again grew silent. “But what I also am is a sinner, a sinner to many things, greed, lust, envy,” Her gaze shifted to Harrian, before turning back. “Something that I can again relate to you with, something that can be used, to unite or break apart,”
A broadsword made of ice appeared in Enar’s hands, its hilt changed to dark indigo, as she pointed it to the audience. “But what I also am is prideful, and so should all of you, to be here standing here and about to make history, yes you might lose your life, and so might I! I am just another vessel in this world to be used, and I will be used now!!” Enar sliced the air causing a gust of wind to affect the audience. “Come and aid me comrades of the battlefield, and live to tell the tale, or die trying!!”
Everyone cheered, grabbing their weapons and raising them, Enar stepped off the pedestal and walked down, looking at Everyone, as she ran into the forest, everyone following. Harrian ran in front of Enar and summoned [Chaos Column].
Harrian sliced the air with his scythe, making a giant white slit which everyone began to run into. As the last man entered, the slit disappeared, and everything was silent. But in the castle, Beezlebub was looking out a window overlooking the city.
He heard that the resistance was coming, as a sadistic side rose inside of him. Whilst in the outskirts of the city, the white slit appeared as Harrian jumped out, followed by the entire Vermillion Resistance.
Enar looked up towards the castle, her ice sword still in hand, as a bond felt by Beezlebub and her was created, the two of them looking at each other at such a distance where they couldn’t see each other. Simultaneously, the two of them opened their mouths, and the same words poured out their mouths at the same time.
“Bring it!”

The General Core {The Sphere}
The life cycle in the Sphere is on the brink of collapse because one of its elements, the Dungeons, have been exploited too much by the mortals. The group who created the Sphere already tried and failed with several modifications, because the original computer-like dungeon cores are too inflexible to handle changing approaches. So they try another type of solution – taking souls from other worlds to try to find a solution before the Sphere Cycle breaks down completely. The General was one of the best soldiers of his world, rising from the ranks of a private through Officer School to the highest command with honors. But when his world faced a zombie apocalypse, even that was not enough and he had to make the ultimate sacrifice. Now he is asked for a repeat performance of planning and controlling a dungeon and its spawns in a world that he knows nothing about… But what is the Sphere really? What is that [Xenotic conversion] he has to go through to even enter the Sphere? Something is really strange and he will have to find out what is going on to get to his promised rewards – whatever they will be. Being a soul in a dungeon core means that the General has better chances of finding hints to the truth about the sphere – a knowledge that would help him survive. And no, the sphere is NOT a virtual reality – the key to its secrets is the place where it was physically constructed (Author’s hint). This is a dungeon core story - but there are quite a number of things that I will do differently than common to those stories. 1) I will describe the floors when they are explored, NOT when they are build. Yes, that will mean it will take longer to get to those parts - but I think describing floors both when they are build and when they are explored destroys quite a lot of chances for suspense when adventurers enter the dungeon. After all, if you as the reader already know where the traps are, then you can't really be surprised when the surfacers encounter them. 2) How the world works (and how not) is an integral part of the story, so it will be explained I'm a world-builder first and the Sphere is NOT a regular world (as hinted in the synopsis above). Things will work differently than in your 08/15 default dungeon core stories - as the General and Gunny have already learned in the second arc (and more of that is already scheduled for the next weeks (July/Aug 2019) when the Sky Arrows continue to explore and evaluate that strange dungeon) If you don't like these premises, then I'm sure you'll find a lot of other Dungeon Core stories more to your liking. But if you are interested in more than "Dungeon builds another room and corridor in medieval earth" and are not afraid of a longer and slower story, then go on. I have two more stories in the Sphere, although they both have lower priority than this one: Shaleen the Wanderer (Adventurer, NSFW) (currently on hold after some chapters) Info's on the Sphere (System Docu and Short Stories) (irregular updates when needed) Current Status reports have been moved to a new discord server: https://discord.gg/EaHkXCfm9y

Bleached Nightmare
500 years into the future, technological progress has stagnated. Wracked by a series of problems like climate change, lack of resources and the innate human lust for war, the geopolitical landscape of planet Earth is radically different, and quality of life is far from what it was in the past. While technical development and research into realistically feasible space travel has made leaps and bounds, this has come at the cost of a world that is reeling from centuries of technical stagnation in other aspects of life. The establishment of a mining colony on Mars has led to the discovery of a new, rare material called sarinium; though it is extremely tensile and durable, it has a very low melting point. The discovery of this metal leads to large mechanical infantry- dubbed 'Spirit Striders', they are six to ten meters tall and as famed for the pride they provide a nation as they are a lethally mobile heavy weapons platform. The story follows the character of Marilin, who must both figure the enigma that is her past, and what this means for her allegiances in the future. Despite her genetically physical frailty, she seeks to gain power through a vessel that will channel her wish to change the world- the Spirit Strider. --- I hope you all enjoy my work. This is a story that I began writing over four years ago in my beginning years of high school, and have cast aside unfinished in the past two years. Though it is not up to my current standards, I hope you all may find some enjoyment in it. Happy reading.
