“[Rebound]!!”
Another explosion, twice the size of the original erupted from the room, causing the five individuals to jump onto a roof the other side of the road. Harrian jumped down and looked at the five new enemies.
Nicko had already eyed one, the largest of the group, based on the guards naming similarities; he decided that he was called Nida. He had similar stature to Jotun, the [Ice Elf] that Mida had defeated, with some clear changes.
Instead of white hair, he was blond, looking as though his hair was kept in check, wielding a massive hammer as well. Nicko adjusted his footing before he bent down a little, and pounced at Nida.
“You’re mine!!” Nicko’s right arm began to show a transparent blue aura that resembled fire.
As soon as his first made contact, Nida had been pushed through a few houses. Before he could regain his strength, Nicko had already appeared in front of the [Elf] and tried to punch him again.
Moving out of the way, the two muscular team members began to fight across blocks of land. Atogin went for a slender girl [Elf] (Alfheim), on the far left, he was able to get a small drop of blood from a scratch, licking it before cutting himself with some [Leverse Serum], his eyes dilated, and the two of them began to fight a swift battle.’
Enar placed the point of her rapier into the palm of her right hand, poking it. Her body began to grow, pupils changing shape to look like frogs, as her tattoos turned into yellow circles, some of the skin within them swelling up slightly.
“It isn’t much to go on, but your mine!” Enar clashed blades with a crimson [Elf], before another one, this one with pure white skin, grabbed her ankle and threw Enar into a fountain nearby.
“Sorry Enar, but you’re gonna have to share,” Allanae twirled her spear, before lunging towards the pale white enemy, getting closer to Enar.
Harrian looked around, from side to side, as the final enemy also did the same thing. The two of them chuckled, as Harrian looked up to him. A [Elf] with rainbow hair, and silver robes stood in front of him, his eyes glazed over.
“Let me guess, Asgard?”
“Correct Harrian Stave,” A serious tone came from the elf, as well as the voice of Beezlebub. “Now I do hope you can entertain me,”
“Should I be saying the same for you?” Harrian said as he summoned [Chaos Column].
“We shall see,”
Nicko and his enemy were in close-quarter combat, Nida was wielding a massive war hammer. Even though they were on par, their weapons were not. Struggling, Nicko began to talk to his enemy.

“This weapon, what is it made out of?”
“[Spirit Sap], the hardened essence from the world tree, where I reside,” Again, two voices talked, one was Nida’s and the others were Beezlebubs.
“I see,” Nicko kicked Nida’s ribs with his right foot, pushing him away, as Nicko got close to a building which, like the rest, was made out of mushrooms. Tearing a large piece off from the building, Nicko began to suck the liquid out of the fungus, after he let out a sigh of refreshment.
“[Gluttony], not related to your friends [Taboo Skill], but still a deadly foe, tell me what did you get?” Nida asked.
“Nothing that’s going to help me, but what will is-”
Atogin fell towards Nicko, the [Dragon-Kin], grabbing his teammate, twirling him around by the right foot, and flinging him at Nida. Not seeing this coming, Atogins left knee made contact with the enemies face, before he then jumped off his face and back into the canopy where Atogin was facing his own enemy.
Nicko ran up to Nida, as he was prying his foes hammer away from him. The [Dragon-Kin] punched Nida so hard that he pushed him away, so he was tasting the ground. In that small amount of time, Nicko opened his mouth and quickly ate the head of the hammer, gulping it down.
“Dammit!” Nida said as Nicko threw what was now a blue stake straight into Nida’s chest. The [High Elf] pulled out the damaged weapon and began to attack Nicko again.
Enar and Allane were fighting together against two of the Yggdrasil guards, whose names were Vana and Nifl. Enar had warned Allanae about Vana and the [Stat Boost] she had due to [Greed], and how Allanae couldn’t touch her.
Agreeing, Allanae and Rache face off against Nifl, using string to their advantage. Nifl used a blue whip, again made from [Spirit Sap], like the rest of the Yggdrasil guard's weapons, their weapons were made out of the sap of what royalty stood on the world tree.
“One thing Enar, based of Mida’s knowledge, the one you’re facing, Vana, he uses a flurry of attacks to finish off his opponents, be careful, I’ll face of the other one.”
Allanae’s hair began to split into two sides before they became to resemble wings of a moth. Flying towards Nifl, who decided to wrap her whip around Allanae, was stopped by a web of silk from Rache and Allanae.
“[Combined String Control: Spiders Home]!” The whip then began to weaken, and parts of it broke.
Allanae readied her spear made of bone before throwing it at her enemy, with Nifl vaguely dodging it, as it also changed direction. Allanae reeled herself towards her spear, creating a long icicle which grazed Nifls right wrist, the hand with her whip.

Rache and Allanae were able to cut her arm, covering the hand with silk and kicking it into the air. Atogin caught sight of the small package and dived down to receive it. As he grabbed it, Atogin also muttered a spell.
“[Sky Affinity: Sky Steps]” Atogin seemed to jump off the air, as he changed his package from Allanae to a bomb by using [Alchemy].
Jumping from underneath his enemy Alf, a female [Elf], Atogin threw it to her, which on contact with a nearby branch, made it detonate. A sized explosion lit up the area, with Atogin laying down a barrage of punches.
“SIN!!” The final punch propelled Alf into the skyline.
Still, with lifeless eyes, Alf finally used a [Spell], something which filled Atogin with joy. The last time Atogin used the [Leverse Weed], he had gained the [Skill: Hardened Mind], which made it so it would make it harder for him to go into a crazed state like last time.
“[Celestial Affinity: Elven Magic: Tidal Affinity: Rain of Alfheim],” Out of view, hundreds of large raindrops, almost seeming like comets with a bright trail following behind it, rained down upon Atogin.
Seeing this, Atogin quickly did the same thing, using [Limit Break], putting everything into his [Mana], as he started casting.
“[Ancient Affinity: Defense Magic: Sky Affinity: Protective Cyclone Sphere]!”
A large current of wind then appeared in front of Atogin as a sphere. It began to grow larger, up to five times the size of Atogin. All of the attacks that Alf had created were sucked up into Atogins [Spell].
Atogin moved away from his protective sphere and began to control it. His ears perked, and instead of throwing it towards Alf, he threw it towards the ground, specifically to Harrian, who was flying with the wings of a large bat.
Harrian pointed [Chaos Column] towards the massive sphere of wind before it absorbed it. Two clashings [Affinities], [Ancient], and [Celestial], one known for its brute strength and the other for its beautiful attacks.
Harrian turned to Asger, the [Elf] of Asgard, although [Rebound] couldn’t be used for about half an hour, he could use other tricks.
“[Absorb]” Harrian smiled, as light blue energy lit up his veins, stretching around his body from [Chaos Column].
Asger stopped flying around, and the two of them stood still. Beezlebub might be controlling everyone, so Harrian began to glow a bright blue. Asger began to fly away, ready to brace from Harrians attack but is not what the [Slime] intended to do.
“[Ancient Affinity: Black Magic: Boulder Affinity: Nail of the [Earth God]]”
A massive rock, a hundred metres in height, as large as a meteor, appeared behind Harrian. He snapped his fingers, and the massive rock split into four pieces. Each of them faced a different direction, one pointed to the sky, with the other three pointing to the fights of Nicko, Allanae and Enar.
Harrian clapped his hands, and the four spears of rock glowed a bright violet before they released. As everyone was fighting, the Yggdrasil guards didn’t notice the massive magical energy, as Harrian had used the [Mana] from Alf’s attack which coated the spears in a purple.
All the guards were too late, they didn’t notice the massive spears, as all of them were hit with the magic. Harrian again, this time with his [Eye of Elements] glowing, opened his hands and closed them just as fast.
“[Mana Drain]!!”
All four guards' eyes rolled back into their heads, as their [Magic Power] began to run rampant, Nida began to make the earth rumble, Alf began to create a small tornado, Vana was enveloped in a cyan fire. Nifl began to freeze everything around her.
After a few minutes of everyone seeking shelter, it stopped. Asger even felt affected, as it wasn’t really an attack, but it was to weaken everyone else's enemy. Seeing how weak the enemy was, everyone put all of their power into one attack.
Simultaneously, the group counted down together, not even knowing they did so, and with a single punch, sword stroke, spear impalement, and a blade made by his own feathers, four of the Yggdrasil guards fell at once.
Asger began to sweat, something he didn’t do for the entirety of his battle against Harrian. He stopped and stared at him, opening his eyes even further, and staring into Asgers souls, right into Beelzebubs original body.
Asger broke out of that trance and stared at Harrian, who was panting. He smiled and began to focus a large amount of magic into his hands.
“You might’ve defeated everyone else, but you haven’t defeated me,”
“I suspect you of this Asger or Beezlebub, and I knew it, since I defeated everyone you’re directly controlling except one,” Harrian began to twirl [Chaos Column] around, creating a fireball within his right hand. “But I came prepared myself,”
“Oho, and how is that?”
“[Activate: Eye of Elements: Take Over]”

It would take a lot to catch up to players with such an enormous head start. Lucky for him, he was a special type of gamer. A SpeedRunner So.... It has been a hot minute. I don't like talking about my personal life, but suffice to say I had some fairly bad times for the last couple of years and have only just recently pulled myself back to good health, physically and mentally. I have a very supportive partner, and am put together enough that I want to get back to doing what I love. Writing nerd fiction that I am too embarassed to try to explain when people inevitably ask what my books are about. Still beats when I used to write erotica. Story updates for book 3 should be on a daily schedule, baring unforseen circumstances. The majority of chapters from books one and two have been pulled down to keep with amazon's KU rules. Book one is found here. Book two is found here. If you like the story, please comment or favorite. Each comment goes a long way towards pushing visibility for the story, which means more people get to see it and I feel slightly more validated as a writer. I have a discord now where you can ask me things and I can be like 'no. no. I'm not answering that. no."
