《The Infinite Item box IS the best thing someone can have on an adventure》Chapter 34 - Covert

The group had appeared around a natural cliff made out of branches and finally took a break. Nicko had found some edible fruit while Atogin found some sort of elvish grain which he and Nicko helped turn into bread. Harrian ate the unused products and turned them into [Slime balls] which everybody ate.
Afterwards, they cleaned their blades and planned; all the focus was on Enar. She was the only person among the four to hear and remember the cloaked figure's message, Atogin was the only other one awake, but he couldn't understand the lip reading.
"Let me guess; you want to know what that person said to me?" The three boys nodded, "Fine," Enar pointed towards a specific house in view, everyone else looking as well. It was a brothel, named 'The Cats Cradle', a place that employed only female sub-classes of [Demihuman].
"It told us to ask for table four, and it had to be today, for a… contest?"
"A contest for what?" Atogin asked.
"I think, to get a table, we would have to enter one of our own to get in, I wouldn't suppose…"
"Yeah, I can transform into a [Demihuman]."
Harrian's [Eye of Elements] rolled back into its socket until it disappeared while an identical left eye appeared in its place. His hair grew a bit longer, changing it's colour to violet, making his eyes do the same. Putting his hands over the front of his head, Harrian took them off to reveal purple cat ears.
"Meow…" Harrian said in an aroused tone, Atogin and Nicko had to look away, both their faces red.
"I am impressed with Harrian, will you also be changing?" Enar asked.
"Of course, more than just my facial features."
Harrian's arms and legs became more feminine, as well as his breasts beginning to bulge a small bit. His clothes almost seemed to be absorbed into his body and change into some connected light lingerie. Fur began to sprout from his arms and legs, all the way up to his shoulders and knees. Opening his mouth, his fangs sharpened, and finally, Harrian's disguise was complete.
Nicko and Atogin took a glance at Harrian, and looked away again, blood beginning to drip from their noses. Seeing this, Harrian giggled, and a cape covered his body so that he could talk to the two.
"Are we sure that we are welcome here?" Nicko asked.
"Probably not, so Harrian?" Enar asked.
"On it."
Harrian had also changed everyone's appearance with the help of [Illusion Magic]. Atogin feathers and eyes became a bright, bloody red, and he was now a Norther Cardinal [Demihuman]. Nicko was a bit tricky with his physique, so Harrian covered all his scales with thick yet smooth fur as well as making his skin a tone or two lighter. Enar was given elf ears, bright green hair, and her tattoos disappeared.

Harrian quickly put them into the [Infinite Item Box] and jumped onto a nearby building, before hiding in a dark alleyway which he then released everyone and made his tophat disappear. There, the group found their way towards the brothel and entered.
It was lit with many candles, and a massive [Bear Demihuman] stood guard, denying them entry. Enar looked behind him for a moment before talking to him.
"For a moment, the beast deepened his gaze, and for that, fear struck his eyes." Enar then looked ferociously at the [Bear Demihuman], and he allowed everyone to pass into the brothel, all except Harrian, who was guided somewhere else.
The group found the table they were looking for, a cloaked figure, exact stature that Atogin and Enar saw after the fight with Muspel. They all sat down on one side, looking at the figure, waiting for it to make the first move. The character then slowly took off her hood, revealing that it was feminine and human-like, but her eyes were closed for a moment.
Opening her eyes, it was revealed that she had an emerald green iris and a black sclera, similar to Harrian's [Eye of Elements], except the colour of the iris and pupil were different. Placing her hand into the hood, she got out four small glasses filled with ice, as well as a bottle of transparent white liquid.
She opened the bottle, and quickly filled each of the four glasses almost to the brim and slid three of them towards the group, each one stopping right in front of them.
"Don't worry, if I didn't want to reveal my eyes, everyone in this brothel would've been dead." The girl spoke in a soft tone.
"I have to thank you for saving my life," Nicko interrupted.
"It's alright, and also please look at the show while we are talking,"
"I see no reason to say no,"
"Fabulous, now for my introduction, my name is Allanae, a [Demihuman], but unlike your own,"
"What is more unique to you than other [Demihuman] such as me?" Atogin asked, his feathers beginning to ruffle.
"I am a bug, to narrow it down, a [Moth Demihuman],"
"That's impossible!" Atogin raised his fist, before putting it down again, taking a deep breath "There hasn't been any natural," His face softened as he realised what had occurred.
"Exactly, I was created, from a tube, not a mother, to be more precise I was born from the world tree,"
"Isn't that?" Enar was cut off.
"'The Creator' was running short of ideas, so he decided to name it after Norse mythology, as well as the nine Yggdrasil guards," Nicko explained.

Enar stared at Nicko for a while. "… Keep going with your story Allanae,"
"Of course, you see, when certain [Species] of people die, their soul in a sense is transferred to the world tree, where they either stay or go. I have no recollection of who or what I was before I became this, but why I did call on you was this."
Allanae put her hand back into her cloak and pulled out what looked like a file, which she passed towards Enar. The [Hero] opened the file and began to scour through the information, while the other three began to watch the competition begin.
In the end, everyone could cast their votes to the best [Demihuman], and everyone kept a record. Allanae was interested who number four was since she knew that was Harrian, although he was going by the name of 'Lavender' for the contest.
"Harrians, up next," Nicko whispered.
"Yeah yeah, but I saw how you were eyeing Coconut," Atogin raised his right eyebrow.
"Shut up, here h-. -She comes."
Where the contestants entered was brimming with light so that everyone could see them, and when Harrian went on stage, many of them began to whistle at him, something that no one had done yet. Nicko and Atogin had to look away, blushing.
"Your friend, he or she can change his or her form, can't he or she?" Allanae asked.
"Yeah, so what? Also, he is a he," Enar said while flipping through a page.
"The reason why everyone is so attracted to him, or her right now is because he or she has probably given itself the appeal of a [Succubus] and [Dryad], two different [Species] that thrive off lust,"
"It's a shame I can't show you my own [Taboo Skill] ..." Enar stopped reading, and put the file down, now looking at Allanae.
"And it seems you're done reading, care to explain to your two love-stricken friends?"
Enar opened the folder, pulling out a picture of a two forked spear, the same as the mysterious man who laid down on the throne. At the bottom of the image, it was labelled [Chaos North], and Enar was curious about how Allanae was able to get hold of it.
"That is what I want, [Chaos North], the spear that is held in the hands of one of the most dangerous people walking on this world, one of the four, pestilence, the being, who is creating being like me by using the world tree,"
"That's the thing, why should we trust you?" Enar partially withdrew her blade, "Why shouldn't I believe that you're just another one of this being's army?"
"I am here, aren't I?"
"So why are there other weapons like Harrians, why weren't we informed?"
"Because Enar Agne, that these weapons have surfaced, [Chaos Collumn], [Chaos Row], and [Chaos North] now, others will appear, and I want one, so the easiest for me would be the last one,"
"Now again, why SHOULD we trust you,"
"You'd already be dead in a heartbeat, [Chaos North's] user controls his army with a hive mind, his only body is at the centre of it all, if I were part of his army, I would've killed you, I was surprised that my friend escaped his grasp with me in it,"
Enar sighed, "It's not like we have a choice, we'll help you take down your creator," She downed her drink and poured another.
"Thank you; I hope we can both get along."
Everyone watched the final three contestants, and it was about to be revealed who the winner was. The door then shattered, and before the bouncer could do anything, his head was decapitated and landed on to the platform the contestants were.
Screams were heard, and massive bipedal ants began to attack people.
"Dammit, if they're here, it's going to be a long trip," Allanae said.
"It's a great thing that we're here, Harrian!" Enar shouted.
"On it," He replied.
Reverting to his original clothing and form, Harrian jumped towards one of the ants. He didn't make contact, since the one closest to him hit Harrian with all it's might, sending him the other direction. Before Harrian hit the wall, he grabbed onto a wooden poll a while he went through the wall, his arm began to stretch like rubber.
Harrian looked towards the confused ants and smiled. As he just gained footing and his arm was stretched far.
"[Gomu-Gomu no mi: Slingshot]!" Harrian rapidly went back to his arm and flung into the ant, and three ones behind it.
Turning around to open his tophat to the group as everyone jumped in, Harrian placed it onto his head and turned partially into a monkey, climbing the trees and escaping Limral. With a new friend and foe alike, it was even better than the group would fight their new enemy, and hopefully win.
