《The Infinite Item box IS the best thing someone can have on an adventure》Chapter 27 - Marble

“[Data analysis complete]”
“[Running Diagnostics]”
“[Probability of success had risen to 55%]”
“[Charging left hand]”
The three hovering fingers around it’s left arm began to move forward and circle clockwise. When the fingers were beginning to gain speed, the arm that they were hovering around began to change.
Parts of marble began to form and break off, it was ass if so drops of white were begging to circle the golem. After a while, it was revealed that inside there was a green orb, similar to the ones the [Guardians] had in their eye, and it was glowing.
“[Charging Completed]”
“[Firing Laser]”
A beam on energy came from the left arm, making the golem lose balance whilst the beam cut through a pillar. Everyone was glad that it didn’t hit them, but unfortunately, the [Golem] began to say new commands.
“[Direct hit]”
“[Activating [Earth Orb]”
The pillar the laser sliced through then for some reason sliced at the top of itself, a clean-cut, causing it to fall, unfortunately on the expedition. People ran out of the way, whilst some decided to do something the [Golem] didn’t see coming, making it stand there in confusion.
A lot of people who were part of the [Strength] expedition decided to grab the falling pillar. It was about four metres in diameter and was the shape of the cylinder. Very slowly but carefully, they moved back and turned right, before moving towards the golem, each one of them muttering [Spells] under their breaths. Each time, the veins bulged and changed, many of the group began to look completely different.
The [Golem] was recovering and saw the pillar beginning to rush towards it. Not understanding what was happening, in its deep robotic voice, began to analyze the situation.
“[Unexpecting event occurring]”
“[Calculations were wrong]”
“[Attack unsuccessful]”
“[No injuries or fatalities near the site of impact]”
“[Redirecting]”
“SHUT UP!” Everyone underneath the pillar yelled in unison.
About thirty people who were carrying the pillar then threw it into the [Golems] levitating chest. They all began to run away, not knowing that those [Cores] were brimmed with [MP], and they were right.
Lights of energy began to come from the [Golems] chest before a massive green explosion happened and all was silent. Only twelve people were hurt, only sustaining first to second-degree burns, where other people began to use [Recover] and put bandages on the wounds. Harrian had quickly applied bandages on the wounded and looked back at the [Golem].
Everyone was waiting for a [Status Board] to appear, telling them that it was defeated. A minute went by, then two, then five, the golem laid motionless for thirty minutes, before it began to talk again, the opposite of what the expedition wanted.
“[Rerouting complete]”
“[All functions reduced by 20%]”
“[Probability of success increased to 99%]”
“[Beggining assault]”
Two lasers came from the [Golem's] head, both hitting an unexpecting Harrian, who quickly put [Chaos Column] in his hat, and dropped to the floor. It didn’t burn him or leave him incapacitated, but what the golem did afterwards was surprising.
“[Retrieving specimen]”
“[Error: Item not found]”
"[Rerouting]"
“[New task: Exterminate specimen]”
The [Golem’s] right arm then floated towards Harrian and showed it’s green [Core], charging it aiming directly at Harrian. He then sluggishly realized what was happening and braced himself to jump into the air. As soon as the laser fired, Harrian jumped into the air, using [Burnball], to fly across the room.

The laser followed wherever Harrian appeared, a homing missile before he jumped off a pillar and went straight at the laser. The [Golem] began to analyze the situation, and that's when Harrian did something the chunk of stone didn't even think of. Harrian withdrew [Chaos Collumn] and pointed it at the attack. As expected, the attack was sucked up by [Chaos Column] and Harrian fell back to the ground, creating a small crater around his feet. It then fired the laser using [Rebound] and Harrian smiled, his right eye beginning to glow even brighter. During that, the laser got brighter and larger, and Harrian’s grin grew even larger.
Afterwards, the laser was a direct hit into the [Golems] chest, it's eyes turning different colours.
Harrian then got a [Status board] which surprised him, as he didn't think he would get one.
[[Shock affinity] has reached Level 20]
[[Shock Affinity] has become [Bolt affinity]]
[You have gained the [Lightning type], [Traffic Lightning]
[Lightning Rod] had seemed to shine upon Harrian again, giving him energy the [Golem] had used.
Very quickly, the childish voice filled the air again, laughing like a maniac. Everyone looked at the [Golem], to see that the arm went back and was hovering again, it didn’t move. After everyone noticed the stillness of the [Boss] they waited for more than laughter.
“I’m surprised that my creation is going after that pink-haired adventurer, after all, I did tell it to get rid of the [Hero],” The hovering parts of the golem went a bit further apart and yellow lightning began to course through them, connecting to other parts of the body.
“Why? Why the [Hero]?” Enar asked out, waiting for a response.
“Why? It’s because one of the last ones sealed me down here, making me lose all that power, and I can feel your power, and now I know what I’ll do,”
The four [Guardians] were all just laying on the floor then changed. They melted and became the four original pillars again, they then floated away from the ground and then at a speed no one could see, impaling themselves within the [Golem]. Right then the [Golems] electrical current changed from yellow to red, as well as it’s markings as well.
“You see, now the [Golem] won’t talk out its commands and is running at full capacity, it’s objective is now you, after the [Heroes Seal] should be weak enough and I will be free at last, a pillar now free!”
Nicko realized who the voice was, but she kept silent, instead, she calmed down, and began to chuckle. The voice asked what was so funny, why she was laughing and he responded.
“Why would you reveal your entire plan? Have you never seen any sort of movies, never reveal your plan! And what do you think that we'll be defeated so easily?” He asked the voice.
“Tch bring it!”
Everyone took attack positions, getting ready, but Harrian did something that he didn’t want to do. He turned around to everyone behind them and told them that this is a fight for the [Heroes Party], they can care to join us but don’t get in their way.

The groups who were at the front of the party stepped forward but kept distance understanding what they wanted. Harrian then thanked everyone and they were ready to attack the [Golem]. Six fingers were shot at the group, four of them were caught by Nicko and some other people and were crushed with their [Strength].
A rush of visible blue energy went through the [Golem] and new fingers came out of the marble. People saw this, and Atogin asked Harrian how was that laser he absorbed.
“I can use [Rebound] every ten minutes since I've become part [Slime], but I think we should listen to Enar,” A green light then appeared in front of Harrian again, him absorbing it, it seemed the [Golem] decided not to wait around to attack.
“Damn right Harrian, now let’s use formation A,” Enar replied.
“But that’s crazy, it’s hard to do, and we don’t want to get hurt, the [Golem] seems to only use its mass to regenerate, and we need a direct hit to it’s [Core],” Nicko told them.
“Fine then, if the [Boss] wants me, it’ll see the true me,” Enar began to walk up towards the [Golem]. It looked down, she got out her staff and rapier, each one in a different hand and activated an [Skill] unknown to the group.
“[Seven Deadly Sins: Pride: Stage 1],” She said, and something which even her teacher heard, something only Enar knew until right then.
The tattoos around Enar body began to change. They changed to bright violet and began to move around. The tattoos turned to eyes within some sort of feathers and appeared on her hands and arms. She looked to her rapier and noticed that the blade's colour had also turned to light violet.
The [Golem] looked even deeper into Enar’s eyes and she stared back. It grabbed the wall and pulled it’s head back. It shaped its chest to reveal a massive [Core], unlike the rest of the ones they’ve seen, it was a red cube, each side about two metres in length.
A long pole then erupted from the [Golems] body with a hole in it, similar to a railgun. Lightning began to erupt from the railgun and Enar took that chance of it charging up. She ran towards the [Golem] and jumped on a pillar, propelling herself through the air.
She pointed her sword at the [Cube Core] before smiling and delivering a hefty blow.
“[Pride Blade Arts: Quick Eye Slice]”
Enar was then back on the ground in half a second and everyone looked at the [Golem] again. Its cube core was cleanly sliced in half, she put her staff and blade away, still leaving her purple tattoos active.
Enar turned towards Atogin, Harrian and Nicko and spoke to them.
“Formation A, now!” The three of them nodded and began to run towards the [Golem].
Harrian took off his tophat and accessed the [Infinite Item Box]. [Slimeballs] appeared from them and were thrown throughout the air, Harrian put out his hand and began to use a new [Spell]. During the resting time, his [String Control] had changed into [Thread Control], and he was about to try it out.
“[Thread Control: Black Magic: Bodily String]” All of the [Slimeballs] began to unravel into some string, connecting to other threads and going around the massive [Golem].
Atogin then used [Limit break] and began to use [Transmute] on the string, turning them to something similar to [Impure Iron]. In about thirty seconds he was done and then it happened.
Nicko activated his [Draconic Rage] and began to tear off the [Golems] stone body and eat it, seeing that it was regenerating slower and slower. He smiled when it took it two seconds to heal and decided to take the arm he was eating, and pushed it into the [Golems] chest.
Enar then jumped off a pillar again, launching herself further into the air. She took off a simple silver earring in her hair and threw it higher in the air. Harrian used [Swap] with that earring and appeared to the left of Enar.
Atogin and Nicko positioned themselves underneath the golem and began to lay a barrage of attacks. Enar took out her rapier and began to pierce the golem from above whilst Harrian used [Hover] in the air casting [Fireball] four times every second.
The [Golems] body began to disappear, it was trying to protect its core. They kept going at it until there was only the body left at full strength. Nicko’s arms changed to [Molton] whilst Atogins turned into [Swiftium], their ace in the sleeve.
Enar turned to her staff and pointed it at the body, whilst Harrian pointed [Chaos Column] and green light began to come out from the [Orb] on it. Three of them crushed what was the remaining body of the [Golem], revealing that the [Cube Core] had already healed, Harrian smiled and activated [Chaos Columns Ability].
“[Rebound]!” A beam of green light, twice as bright as the laser which hit it erupted from Harrian’s scythe, hitting the [Cube Core] of the [Golem], they all fell and a light round of applause was held upon them. After the fight was over, Enar’s tattoos returned to normal, and she was tired because of it, panting.
After the [Golem] was dead for about ten seconds, everyone saw a [Status Board] and they cheered.
[[Dungeon Boss] of the [Marsius Dungeon] has been defeated]
[You have all gained 10,000,000 exp points]
[Everyone’s reputation has gone up by [5 levels]]
Many people cheered, as they levelled up and their [Reputation] skyrocketed of what they once were, but one thing didn’t stop, the echo of clapping. All the torches went out and then reignited themselves with a white flame and then it happened.
Out of the shadow of the [Golems] and [Guardians], some black liquid came out, and in front of the [Golem], a figure of a person began to grow out of the black liquid. Seeing that, the people then knew that their fight was not over, even worse, a new one had just begun.

Gods of Arkanoth
The hunter has been betrayed, left alone in the streets of a lugubrious district. Only one goal appears in his eyes: to avenge himself. In his quest to avenge himself, he'll encounter an enigmatic scientist who seems to hide his true nature, a savior pretending to be a God, and the terrible truth of those words, bringing him against something he'd never thought he'd have to affront. This is the odyssey of the hunter, in a quest to put a long overdue end to a war between two worlds. // What to expect:The beginning will surely be intriguing, most of what's happeing won't be directly explained, although there will be some hints about their true roles, but do not worry about some subjects never leaving that misty fog that is unanswered questions! The novel is divided in two parts, the first focusing on uncovering the well-hidden secrets the city of Arkanoth hides, be it concerning its making or its inhabitants. As for the second part, it will be an expedition into the unknown, we could, in a way, say the true start of the journey our three heroes will undertake! I won't say anything more about the second part or else I might tell you an important detail without realizing... As for magic, because yes, there is magic! Although you might not see the shadow of a spell in the first chapters, it will appear in later chapters and will be one of the main subjects of volume 2. There are three heroes, yes, but they will not appear directly. While the first two protagonists appear in quite the beginning, the third will take his time, taking some stroll in the Districts of Arkanoth while we focus on the story of the hunter. But that does not lessen his importance in the story a bit, trust me. What about these three heroes, you say? Well, they all have their own issues, from their character to their torments, and as the story progresses they will have to come clean with their past (character development is to be expected) and will find their reason for fighting, braving all odds. I draw my inspiration from mythology, more precisely Aztec mythology. I want to stay true to a certain extent about it and all the relations between the gods and their role, however I will still change some things to my liking, so do not expect for all of the mythology to be respected to the letter. Finally! I have to say English is a foreign langage for me, so I might not choose the best words or straight-up miswrite something, if it bothers your experience, just tell me in the comments and I'll look into it! It is also my first time writing a book, so some parts might seem sloppy, but I hope I will be able to improve throughout this journey so as to give the most enjoyable reading experience to you. // Who might enjoy this story: Firstly, if you like deep lore and stories in which past plays a big role, you will like how everything unravels to show the hidden truths of the world. However if you do not appreciate not instantly understanding what's happening or who - or even what - this person might be, then you might not appreciate the story. There will be disturbing and gore descriptions, so if you're sensitive, don't like reading about someone being beheaded and such, you should probably pass this one. There is strong langage, although I won't abuse it, I won't be lying saying no insults will appear. Finally, the heroes will not always win, they will sometime lose battles, be it important ones or unimportant, and they will, most of the time, not come out unscathed from those. // Time Schedule : once every two sundays at 7:pm Ps : feel free to tell me if something is bad, or feel wrong with the book, it really helps me. I've written till' chapter 4 (in my mother tongue, so I'll still have to translate), however I'll make some minor and major changes, thus it will take some time to post them. Schedule will probably not change after releasing chapter 4, so don't worry, it won't take even longer to post a chapter than it already is. Enjoy the ride :)
