“It’s been a while, Au,”

“Indeed it has, Mitch,”

Gold, now an infamous merchant who can travel throughout the country of Kilvi. Mitch, a close mortal dwarven friend of ‘the creator’, although he didn’t know that just yet.

“Found someone to help you out yet Au?”

“Fortunately no, everyone doesn’t want what I'm looking for,”

“Are you trying to find a perfect woman, beautiful and talented?”

“No, I'm just looking for a partner in my travels,”

“You’ll be lucky if that, but in the meantime, here are your potions, 30,000 sals,”

“That’s three times as expensive, remember both eyes,”

“I need to make a profit Gold, how about 25,000,”

“20,000. I’m going to Kethral after this, and then Koumides,”

“Done deal,”

“I heard that Stave used to come here,”

“A great customer he was, and now a royalty.”

“What armour do you have in my size?”

“Come this way.”

At the same time, but in Koumides, in the main castle in a garden away from public eyes. A man with light pink and long hair was sitting down on a seat.

“Level 25?” Thought the man.

He didn't do that for long, as for someone was spying in through a tree. The spy drew it’s own bow, only for the man to notice. As the bow fired, he felt it coming. The man got out a pocket watch and started to enchant it with runes.

“ぽろてせつふぉろおおびじぇせて、,” The man said whist holding his pocket watch at the arrow.

A large circle appeared out of the watch and caught the arrow. The man looked at it, seeing that it was transforming into something else. He grabbed the arrow and made it disintegrate, now knowing where the person was.

He took a magic staff that was strapped to his waist and made three [fireballs] out of thin air.

“[Black Magic: Trace]”

The [fireballs] rushed into the trees, each one making a burn mark when it missed. The attacker then jumped out of the tree, with an arrow ready to fire.

The man smiled and used a dangerous ability. He jumped in the air and propelled himself up in an explosion. The man used [Fire Lance] which raced through the air and hit the target, making it fall to the floor.

The man then floated down and summoned a black scythe, also making the clothes of the attacker, merge with the ground. The man put the scythe up to his attacker and said these words.

“Kaloko?”

“You got me, Harrian.”

Harrian undid his magic and began to look over Kaloko’s body. She was now wearing some sort of hunter's clothes, her eyes looked sharper and she cut her hair so it only reached the back of her head, not her shoulders.

“Look at you, a new elf,”

“Look at you, with a stopwatch, and a multitude of blacks, with a cape,”

“My job changed,”

“That’s a first, to what?”

“[Dark Magician], my magical affinity is doubled, as well as something else,”

“What would that be?”

“I’d rather, not until the rest of the group arrives,”

“You might not have to wait too long.” A man from behind Harrian responded.

With a dash of air, an [Owl Demihuman] had appeared in front of him, right next to Kaloko.

“You evolved again, didn’t you Atogin?” Kaloko grumbled.

“It’s a trait among my species Kaloko, Harrian,” He replied.

Atogin now looked much more animal-like. His feathers now covered his arms and legs, as well as his hands only having four fingers on each one, making them look like talons. His eyes also looked more prone to light as they were very dilated.

“What silent bird are you now my feathered friend?” Kaloko hit Atogin.

“I am now a [Great Grey Owl], one of the biggest owls back on earth,”

“So, there are probably one or two owls that are the size of a mountain in this world,”

“And so I'll evolve into one of them.”

The ground then shook underneath them, not hard enough to fall over, but strong enough to announce someone else had appeared. Kaloko and Atogin looked behind them and saw that a [Dragon-kin] was coming their way. Atogin dashed over to his direction and hugged him, seeing Nicko seemed to get him excited.

Nicko had changed the most out of everyone so far. He didn’t carry around an axe anymore, instead, he wore two gauntlets. His scales had expanded, showing up on his back, chest and legs. Nicko’s skin became a more tan colour and he now had small stumps on his forehead.

“Ha, I’m surprised I'm not the last one here, so where’s Enar?” Nicko laughed.

“Why don’t you ask me?” A womanly voice replied.

A radiant girl with a rapier on her waist and staff with a circle on her back had appeared. The woman was dressed in the same attire as Enar and had some white patterns on her arms that went all the way up to her elbows.

“Can we all just agree that Kaloko and Harrian had the least physical change?” Atogin smirked.

“I’ll agree with that statement,” Harrian replied.

“Same here,” Kaloko continued. “Oh, and Harrian, since we are all here, why don’t you tell everyone what you were going to say,”

“You’re right,”

Harrian walked up to Enar and knelt, he lowered his head and began to speak to her.

“I have seen you have gained the religion that is closer to a [God of light], but I fell,”

“Harrian, what are you saying?” Atogin asked.

Harrian got up and made a fireball in his hands, he also cast a [Black Magic] spell which turned the fire purple.

“I became a [Dark Magician] soon after I got [Black Magic], so I am saying to everyone here, that I will still be loyal to the party, even if I turn to the magic that is evil,”

“Great speech after seeing everyone for six weeks,” Nicko began to clap. “But where’s your slime and spider?”

Everyone then looked at Harrian and realized as well. Dropley and Rache were not present with their master.

“Indeed one of them is here now,” The princess entered the garden with Rache in her hands. The small spider made some string and flung herself to Harrian.

“That explains one of them, but where’s Dropley?” Enar responded.

“That’s a secret Enar, now I believe the princess wants me.”

Harrian jogged away from the group and went to Tifian where they left. They were walking through the castle when Tifian began to ask questions.

“I have to say Harrian, pledging you loyalty to the hero’s party because you gained [Black magic], you have gone insane,” Tifian looked at Harrian, waiting for him to respond.

“The only time I ever lose myself is when ‘that’ takes over, which only happened twice in the six week period we’ve been together,”

“True, but since you’ll be introduced to the world, you might lose yourself more often,”

“I can see your worry, Princess.” Harrian grasped his face, focusing on his eye. The powerful [Eye of Elements], even though Harrian couldn’t control it well enough yet, he believed the other abilities he would protect him.

The two of them kept walking throughout the castle until Harrian sensed something with his magical eye.

“Black flames,” He muttered.

“Something wrong Harrian?” The princess asked.

“Forgive me Tifian, but I feel something, I’ll [Swap] you to your chambers,”

“Harrian don’t, you're just overreacting over a squirrel again,”

“No, this is different, is this, Aelor?”

“No, he isn’t welcome in our country, he was banished, unless…”

The brick wall to the right of the duo began to glow a purple, Harrian took notice and took off his cape, quickly buttoning it before using [Swap] on Tifian. Harrian then grabbed hold of a pill that appeared in midair and ate it. He took out [Chaos Collum] and the wall exploded.

“[Rock Fall]!” Harrian yelled. All the debris then hit the floor before it could hit him. Now in front of him, a wall of bright purple fire was there.

“Great job Harrian, was expected of the person who showed me off,”

“I knew it, Aelor!”

“Your right with that Harrian, and now I’ve come to take my revenge.”

The flames dispersed and there he was, an even worse Aelor. His body grew and now his eyes were pure black, and he had no hair, instead, he had a burning fire on his scalp. The rest of his group were behind, all except one, which Harrian noticed.

“Where’s your mage?”

“All power comes as a sacrifice Harrian, you of all people should know this,”

“Well I don’t, why did you come back to Koumides,”

“Why? Haha, Why?” Aelor began to chuckle, holding his chest, that chuckle then turned into a laugh which then turned into a cackle.

“YOU SHOWED ME OFF HARRIAN! I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A HERO, BUT INSTEAD, A WEAK PERSON WHICH LOOKS ALL HOLY TOOK MY PLACE, ALL BECAUSE OF YOU! HARRIAN!”

Aelors fire began to burn larger, even his party began to move away, as the heat was too much for them.

“Aelor, we are both reasonable people, why don’t we negotiate?”

“Negotiate, with the man who ruined my life? You must be tripping,”

Aelor then pounced at Harrian who dodged it. Harrian then cast [Water Bullet] using [Black Magic] on it as well. The water hit Aelor, who shrieked in pain. He covered his chest where the water was and began to struggle. After a short while, he looked at where the water hit and there was no injury.

“[Pain Amplification]? How do you have the same abilities as him!” Aelor yelled.

“Training.”

Harrian gripped [Chaos column], waiting for Aelor to attack again. He created a sword made of purple flames and their blades clashed. Harrian used spells with [Black Magic] using the same spell he used, each attack making Aelor scream in pain.

After clashing for a while, Harrian and Aelor had no stop in sight. Aelor decided to plunge his sword into the ground, erupting fire from the ground underneath Harrian. Aelor dispersed his sword and touched Harrian, searing through his clothes burning his skin and making him drop [Chaos Collum].

Aelor jumped back and waited for the results. After Harrian stopped clutching his injury and looked at his right arm, it was perfectly fine, no burn injuries at all.

“Dammit, all I want to do is humiliate you, but still look at me! I want to end you, I want you to die, I want to kill you! kill kill kill kill Kill Kill KILL YOUUUUU!”

“If you want to do that to me, I may have a meeting point, if you want to humiliate my party,”

“And what is that, HARRIAN!”

“The Gladiator Stadium in Koumides is free today, we each choose a person and we fight them until one of them emerges victorious, if you defeat me, you’ll be able to fight the [Hero],”

“Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I’ll agree to it, but make sure it’s a CROWD, I’ll meet you there, in an hour. It’ll go like this for me [Tank], [Archer] and then [Rogue], remember that.”

Aelors group left, leaving Harrian there with Tifian rushing to his side. She held his shoulder, worried for Harrian’s health.

“Tell everyone,” Harrian said.

“Tell everyone what?”

“That there will be four fights at the stadium starting in the next hour,”

“But,”

“Not a but Tifian, tell the rest of my party, that the first mission is to face a party that has a grudge,”

“Don’t push yourself,”

“I’ll try not to, but I'll need my cape back.”

Harrian untied his cape from Tifian and put it back on himself. He looked at Rache to see that she was scared, but Harrian wasn’t. He began to walk ahead and looked back at Tifian to see that she was about to cry.

“Don’t worry my princess, I swear on my life, that I'll defeat him, the man known as Aelor.”
