Harri was shaking, they weren't ready for this. Although they couldn't escape from the Hobgoblin, they have heard rumours about the resurrection, but they couldn't trust it yet. So they had to kill the Hobgoblin or die trying.

The Hobgoblin grabbed something out of one of its fur hides. It was a large flask with a red liquid in it. The Hobgoblin threw the flask at us, he then proceeded to create a fireball in his hands and threw it at us.

Harri focused his MP into his cloak and jumped in front of Kaloko, cloak facing the flask. The fireball hit the flask and it burst into flames. Atogin already escaped the range by jumping backwards, but Kaloko couldn't. Harri took the hit instead.

[Fire affinity has reached level 4]

"Does being hit with the same element level up my affinity?" Harri thought.

After the flames scattered into small pieces on the ground. Harri used appraisal on one of the small flames.

[Burstweed fire]

"Atogin! Do you have any Burstweed potions!?" Harri yelled.

"Yeah, I have fifteen," Atogin replied.

"Give them to me!"

"Ok,"

Atogin fiddled around in a leather sack. He took out fifteen small potions with a red liquid and threw them to Harri. Harri took off his tophat and they disappeared into it.

"Everyone start spamming attacks! Remember to dodge!" Nicko yelled.

Harri started chanting his new defensive magic.

[Tin skin] Harri chanted four times.

The skin of the four now had a grey metallic tint.

[Defensive magic has increased to level 2!]

Harri and Kaloko started to fire projectiles towards the Hobgoblin, whilst Atogin and Nicko dealt damage to it physically.

"[Dominate]" Nicko yelled.

"[Dash]" Atogin screeched. "Then [Slash]"

"[Bow Strike] and [Penetrate]" Kaloko yelled continuously.

The Hobgoblin kept slashing his claws and threw potions. But he barely hit Atogin or Nicko with its rampage. As the Hobgoblins skin began to turn red with its blood, something strange happened. It then roared in anger, his eyes turned a dark crimson, unlike the regular goblins, the Hobgoblins eyes had a deadly look.

Kaloko took notice quickly and warned everyone.

"Guys! The Hobgoblin eyes have turned red, this is probably his finisher!" Atogin yelled to the others.

Atogin looked towards Kaloko and said, "No worries, we'll still defeat him!"

As Atogin looked back, the Hobgoblin dashed towards him. Atogin also dashed back, but not in time. The Hobgoblin pierced one of his fingernails into Atogins forehead, blood staining the fingernail. Atogin dropped dead and was rolling towards Harri and Kaloko. Kaloko eyes of hope had turned into eyes for fear.

"Nicko! Back off the Hobgoblin for a bit!" Kaloko yelled.

Nicko nodded and started to run away from the hobgoblin, gulping down a Glowgrass potion while he was at it. Harri and Kaloko knelt towards the bleeding Atogin. Both of them started to use healing magic onto the near-dead Atogin.

"Come on Atogin, stay with us!" Harri yelled.

A small status screen appeared in front of Harri and Kaloko.

[Atogin has been subjugated to the Hobgoblins poison]

[To get rid of the Hobgoblins poison, Atogin has to ingest the blood of a dead Hobgoblin]

[Time remaining 485 seconds]

Harri and Kaloko were sweating heavily, they had to defeat the Hobgoblin. Harri picked up his hat and put Atogin into the tophat, where he was safe. Meanwhile, Kaloko's eyes were lifeless. She was the closest to Atogin, and she was about to lose him for real. Kaloko snapped out of here lifeless gaze and started to sprint to the dark Hobgoblin.

Harri started to pursue Kaloko, making sure that she didn't do anything stupid. After a small amount of running, there it was. The massive Hobgoblin was trying to keep up with Nicko, but he was failing.

"Harri, use those Burstweed potions to light the ground around the Hobgoblin," Kaloko commanded.

Harri nodded and took out the potions out of his hat. He now had the fifteen small potions in his hand. Harri threw them onto the floor.

"Nicko! Lead the Hobgoblin near the small potions on the ground, and crush them as well!" Kaloko yelled to Nicko.

Nicko switched his directions and started to run across the potions.

"Harri, use fire magic on the potion mess!" Kaloko yelled to Harri.

"Ok, give me a second," Harri replied.

Harri was storing up MP in his staff for some time, ready for this moment.

[Fire Lance] Harri yelled!

A Small more concentrated fireball came out of Harris staff at an alarming speed. Leaving the ground slightly burnt. The Hobgoblin was inside the circle of flame, not knowing what to do. Kaloko aimed her bow at the Hobgoblin, arrow ready. She then muttered some words.

"˂˫˫ýȟ²ýˍ²ȕ˷ˋ²ȟƣçâµ²ˋçâ²ȕ˷ƣá²˽˂ç²ȟ˷ý²˷˂á²âˋ˂þȕ²ð˫ˋ˂ȕ²áüˍˍˋ˫ƣçð" Kaloko yelled out.

A great gush of air started to lash out from Kalokos bow. An arrow made out of a green hurricane appeared in the nock of the bow. Kaloko released the arrow and it dashed towards the Hobgoblin, like a bullet out of a gun.

"[Penetrate]" Kaloko said.

The arrow struck through the Hobgoblins heart, weakening it. The massive wound started to close.

"[Arrow turn]" Kaloko commanded the arrow.

The arrow turned around heading back towards the Hobgoblin. With a fully closed wound, the Hobgoblin got up, looking confident. The arrow penetrated the Hobgoblins skull, leaving a massive hole in his head. It collapsed onto the dirt, leaving a shockwave behind it.

At last, they had defeated but they still had one more thing to do. Atogin was still poisoned.

"Nicko! Get some of the Hobgoblins blood, Atogin doesn't have a lot of time left!" Harri Shouted at him.

"Got it," Nicko replied.

He knelt to the Hobgoblins corpse and got a small flask and filled it with blood. Meanwhile, Harri got Atogin out of the Infinite Item Box and laid him on the dirt floor. Kaloko opened his mouth and Nicko poured the blood into Atogins mouth. A small status screen appeared above Atogin.

[Atogin has been cured of the Hobgoblin poison]

"Do I get a badass helmet now?" Harri thought.

As the team drank a few Glow Grass potions, Harri put Atogin back into the Infinite Item Box. Before they left, a status screen appeared in front of everyone except Kaloko.

A small one by one box appeared in front of Harri. It bobbed, then words started to spin inside the box. Harri pressed the box and it stopped.

Harri was shocked, beast tamer magic?

"Did Kaloko get that arrow to turn ability by that?" Harri thought.

Harri looked back to the corpse to see that a large red slime was eating a small amount of the Hobgoblin corpse. Harri snuck up to the slime and started to mutter.

"[Beast tamer Magic] Activate," Harri whispered.

Two blue chains appeared from the ground and latched themselves onto the slime. A lock appeared and connected the chains around the slime. The chains suddenly disappeared and the red slime started to jump towards Harri.

[Taming successful]

[Dropely] Harri said.

[The slime has now been named [Dropely]]

Harri knelt and the slime jumped up onto his knee. Harri patted Dropley, but then Dropley poked Harri's mage staff and Dropley turned blue. Harri left the questions and put Dropley in the hood of his coat.

Harri put the Hobgoblin corpse into the Infinite Item box as well as Atogin, and the three headed back to Newtown
