Frank readied his teleporter to meet his date across the globe.

He entered the molecular disassembly chamber and closed the latch.

His memories uploaded first—then the world around him pixelated. An excruciating pain pulsated throughout his paralyzed body while every part of him split apart into atoms.

On his arrival, ‘Frank’ felt disoriented, lost, and existentially detached until all of his body parts reconnected—meanwhile, he had wanted to cry out but couldn’t.

Once he retrieved his memories, his mind reset:

“Hi Frank, how was your trip?”

“Great! Like nothing ever happened, then in a flash, here I am!”
