《Aurora's Sky》Chapter 9 : Aurora (9)

"Human, your heart has abnormal palpitations, but what I smell isn't fear but excitement. Unless you're a masochist you better start speaking and answering my questions."
Dr. Estinger held the capsule closer and tighter unknowingly. M1 wouldn't have missed this small action from his keen eyes.
"Let's begin with the capsule."
M1 brought his hand closer to the capsule. Dr. Estinger grabbed M1's hand and managed to stop his movement. He began to speak.
"Answer your questions? Capsule? DO YOU KNOW WHO CAUSED THIS? SHE WOULD BE ALRIGHT. SHE WOULD HAVE LIVED IN PEACE BY MY SIDE. SHE WOULD HAVE..."
M1 was surprised by the his sudden outburst of emotion. He was even more surprised by the fact that this human was now in control of his body that was similar to a Relisvantian. However, it wasn't enough.
M1 grabbed Dr. Estinger's wrist and flipped him over. M1 then put Dr. Estinger in a choke hold and the capsule slid far away from his hand. Dr. Estinger's eyes were blood shot as he struggled to get out of the grab and reached for the capsule.
"Now, let's see whats in this capsule that you are so desperate for."
"DON'T... YOUR FILTHY... HAND... TOUCH.... KILL... YOU."
Dr. Estinger squeezed out a few words while being held down as M1 clicked a button on the side to pull up the lid to see the viewing glass of the capsule. Aurora's face and body was revealed behind the viewing glass. M1 was surprised from the body and now understood why Dr. Estinger was in this state of fury.
Dr. Estinger increased his rate of flailing but was easily controlled like a little kid under the arms of M1.
"Eos Estinger, how about we go to that tea drinking you were talking about earlier."

M1 held down the doctor until he calmed down, it took a long time and a lot of restraining until he calmed down. M1 had the patience though as he had experienced hunts much longer than this. M1 dressed his wound on his shoulder when Dr. Estinger had calmed down Dr. Estinger he drank his tea and glared at M1.
"Dr. Estinger, we both hold the same amount of hate for eachother but i'm sure we have both the same amounts of questions as well."
"Hate isn't strong enough of a word to describe my current state."
"So you think my hate for the oppression and creation of my kind is not smaller than yours?"
Dr. Estinger drank his tea in silence and after awhile he began to speak.
"What was your mission and how did you manage to suddenly appear. I could only theorize that you had achieved warp somehow but it shouldn't have taken you until the destruction of your world to come here..."
"Our mission was to capture your entire family, shutdown Aurora, and then bomb the Institute to the ground. However, a sudden beam messed up our entire navigation system so we warped to millions of places in the universe before getting here."
"Ah the massive tech failure and the wordly Earth Aurora. I always suspected that my daughter had something to do with that but she always refused to answer."
"So the death of my comrades was because of your daughter...?"
M1 began laughing in a seemingly crazed manner.
"My friends are dead, my race evicted, and I have no where to call home. Your daughter is in near death, you've been evicted from your planet, and now you have no place to call home. This universe is much too small for us to meet in this manner."

"It really is isn't it..."
Both of them sighed.
"Well, can you explain to me the state of my world at least."
Dr. Estinger pulled up a screen and showed him. Scrap metal floated around the planet and the previously barren land was even more devastated. They seemed to have bomb the barren land so hard that even the barren land could be barely called that anymore. Fires were still going, buildings collapsed, and the air seemed thicker.
"I guess it's true... I've captured Aurora and stopped the A.I. all one year too late. I've completed my mission but failed my purpose."
The scene began to pan out and Dr. Estinger began to notice abnormalities. The armies of the humans were in a disarray. Sentry robots had begun to shoot at eachother and friendlies. The ships crashed and the soldiers were in panic. The sudden stopping of commands by Aurora had made a massive impact on the army as the army was in a state of mass panic and destruction.
Nearly 75% of the human military forces were mobilized for the war and the military stationed there had begun to wittle down as nobody had accurate information on who were enemies or not. The Relisvantian resistance also began to loot and attack ships in the mass panic of the army. Some Relisvantian ships were shot down and some were successful.
M1 could only let out one sentence at the scene.
"This.. Ah. The shutting down of A.I. is putting them in a mass panic."
They watched the brilliant fireworks of the destruction of the Human military and remnants of the Relisvante resistance in silence.
