Prologue - New World
Time passed; Solar didn't know how long time had passed, but he had grown a long beard. His mind had become numb to the pain from the blood-sucking. He had adapted to his circumstances but never given up the chance of freedom. He grew in strength and hid it, feasting on rats for energy and training every second he could. His suppressed rage and hatred only grew more and more, but he held it inside of him, waiting for the right moment. He hoped the day would come soon, the day of his revenge...
The world had changed in the blink of an eye.
A few sentences from the so-called System and planet Earth had merged with another planet. They had been summoned to the tutorial, and when they came back most of the cities were ruined. Monsters appeared everywhere and it was survival of the fittest. Goblins, gnomes, bull-men and countless of more races populated the world.
There had been more war and carnage than ever before; constant skirmishes happened all around the planet, every member of every race striving to gain levels, a better class and reinforce their position in the brutal new world.
Lucas Crawleck carefully walked through the patches of tall grass. His bucket-hat blocked his eye's from the sun rays so that his vision was 100%, which was very important in the current times.
Further down the plains, under a large tree, there was a family of Fire lions. They were larger, faster and angrier than normal lions. He had spotted them when they hunted a large mutated elephant the other day, they had ripped it with ease.
Lucas signalled to the rest of the group to turn back. His hunting team consisted of 2 African males, Amare and Zane, and one Chinese guy called Li Wei, who had been on vacation here in South Africa when The System took over. They had been at the same tutorial and became good comrades in arms, even though only Li Wei understood him.

"Goblins ahead!" Li Wei had used Farsight and saw a dozen of pesky goblins on their way to them. The skill Farsight enabled him to see things in detail hundreds of meters away. One of the few skills he had picked up from the tutorial.
The goblins were the size of children, about half the average size of adult humans. They were mostly green, but Lucas had black ones, but that was a mine near their village. When they were close enough, he used to Inspect.
Goblin
Level: 14
The problem that he had noticed with goblins was that they were crazy. Their use of the system was erratic; there was no tactic behind their moves which also made them unpredictable.
"Prepare for combat!" Li Wei screamed as he prepared his skill.
The distance closed and Li Wei cast Stone Stalactite when the goblins were almost upon them. It impaled one of them. Lucas used his signature move, Slow Movement. Their speed dropped, which enabled Zane to intercepted them with a Block, stopped their charge and stunning them for 0,5 seconds. Amare followed up with a thrust and killed one of them.
The goblins giggled and their crazy laughter grew louder, one of them cast Firebolt out of nowhere at Amare. He was too slow to dodge and it hit him right in the face.
Splat!
He fell dead to the ground with only half a scarred face left. The remaining members became enraged. Zane managed to retain enough rationality to keep defend the rest of his team. Li Wei used Stone Stalactite again and managed to kill off the third one. It took five more minutes before they killed them with a combination of Slow Movement and Stone Stalactite.
"Fuck..!"
Lucas checked the leaderboard with despair, "How much of humanity has survived? Will the distance between us continue to widen?"

Blood Quest - A LitRPG
Leon's family has been diagnosed with a new type of incurable blood disease. It's an absolute death sentence and when it turns aggressive, you only have a few more years of painful life left to live. His mother has just begun the last years of the disease when a person supposedly comes back from death with supernatural abilities. He talks about a choice you get after death--get an extra chance to come back to life, or die. Even with Leon's diminishing life span, he won't consider the option of going there, until he meets another survivor who had the same goal as him and succeeded. Leon has a choice to make—die now for a chance to save his mother, or die in a few years, where the disease rapidly melts his muscles from his own body. He enters a game-like world, a sort of limbo, where his ultimate goal is to climb the tower of Katastroph before his mother's time runs out. There are a few problems with this though. The tower is almost impossible to beat, if you die you won't revive, and only three people in over twenty years have actually made it back. Leon has two years to climb the tower, with the help of the few people willing to try, while Ai, the tutorial guide, makes things harder for them. ***** The story starts pretty dark but goes onto a lighter tone. Then (more) dark again. Disclaimer: This story is an experimental project and I hope to get any and all feedback you can give me. Warning: First draft. Chapters tend to be between 3400-4100 words long (about 8-11 A4-pages). Mentioning it since I've seen it in other fictions :P Sometimes they're shorter, sometimes they're longer. ******************************** CHAPTER RELEASES UPDATE: As the first "book" in the series is done, I'm going to release coming chapters somewhat sporadically, and when Writathon ends, I'll probably go back to publishing one chapter per weekend. We'll just have to wait and see! I hope you enjoy the story! I really appreciate all comments and feedback, so if you have anything to say, feel free to voice it :) ************ [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Augmented Reality
One night an old friend of Ned's wakes him up from his sleep only to inject something into him. The next day he was found murdered. From that day on Ned's life changed. Ned found his world altered, different from how it normally was. This story is about how he tries to navigate through his new view on the world and tries to figure out thes secret of how his entire world had somehow turned into a game of sorts. AN: New writer...somewhat, haven't published anything and this seemed a good time as any so there and this idea was kind of annoying me as well.

Luster
Growing up with her recently deceased mother’s addiction and her own struggles with gender identity, June Fujiwara was not a nice person. Gaining powers from nearly being murdered didn’t change that, and neither did becoming a mercenary to fund her transition. It took horrific manipulation, the resulting trauma, and the family that helped her through it all. Luster is a derivative work based on Worm by Wildbow (John C. McCrae) that begins prior to Worm and although it doesn't show straight away, the story is very AU.
