《Amber》Chapter 6 narrow escape

"Damn that was too close for comfort," Lavender said.
"It's very rare that I get a princess visiting me," the silver haired witch said.
"Oh shut up your one of the ten Leviathans that Hime created to help her escape. Silver haired witch of the East, Rembra GoldHeart."
"How can that be I look more like a 14 year old child I can't be as old as you make me sound," Rembra answered back.
"Says the old lady that's more than 900 years old since her birth. But I got to say for us leviathan that has 6 forms. You're the only one with 2 forms. I mean we got the leviathan serpent form, human form, demihuman form, sea serpent form (as big as the mountains), sea dragon form, and our ultimate form. It's a pity that your age doesn't even match your appearance either." (She's mocking Rembra that she's forever a eternal loli for life)
"Ugh as if I need you to this deep into my domain in the water palace this deep to mock me," Rembra screamed.
She tossed her pillow straight into Lavender's face. It really did annoy her someone had come to her home to talk yet they mentioned her age and her looks not matching.
"I don't need you to tell me that," Rembra said.
"Really because you were born before I was born," Lavender said.
"Don't let me catch you....oh that's my guards shouting outside. I'm guessing that'd be your royal guards coming for you," Rembra said.
Lavender groaned as she stared at the silver haired loli in her human form. She complained under her breath as she changed form outside Rembra's window to her sea serpent form. (The difference between her leviathan form and the sea serpent form is the other one doesn't have the horn.)
Her eyes shined as she noticed she was being chased by the others. She had the urge to turn around and mock them, but she knew that'd just slow her down. Rather she knew that if her older sister came after her it'd be all over. Lavender was the best at swimming fast but her sister was an genius in fighting. Even she wasn't stupid enough to try to slow down under the sea like this for her ego. She'd be stupid to try, a beam of light ahead of her stopped her dead in her tracks.

"So where do you think your going," the 1st princess asked. Lavender flinched when she saw her oldest sister before her. Diana was known for her cruelty and heartlessness. She didn't think her father would send her 1st eldest sister after her rather than her 3rd sister the battle genius.
"Isn't it just her going through her rebellious age," the 2nd princess Tory said.
Lavender turned around shocked, her father sent the martial artist and weaponry mastery genius. This was her sister she feared the most, always calm, collected yet smiling all the time. Her sister Tory had never opened either of her eyes most face her with a sense of dread. Never knowing what she's thinking. Diana was known for not caring if your family and she'd still torment you to death rather being caught by her left Lavender pale. She didn't want to be caught by either of these too.
"Sister why don't you be a good girl and join my harem of girls," Tory asked.
"No! I don't want to be brainwashed by you," Lavender screamed. She had transformed back into her human form and readied her fists.
"Sister why don't you allow me to play with her a bit first before we return her to father," Diana said.
Lavender trembled as she noticed the cold smile they both had. She knew she wasn't going to get out of this unscathed now. Her fist went straight to Tory's face. Tory caught Lavender's hand with her left hand and twisted her arm.
"Now now, don't give me that pained look. You know better than anyone using your fists and weapons at me is useless," Tory said.
Her sister wanted to scream you dislocated my right arm already so why lecture me now. 'Even if I wanted to escape I'd have to do so while fighting you two monsters,' Lavender thought.

Instead Lavender let out a scream as Diana stabbed at her stomach. Blood sipped out from her as her sister Diana slowly pulled out her arm. They called Diana heartless but she seemed to be smiling in amusement at Lavender glaring at her.
"Don't ignore me, pay attention to your enemies now girl," Diana warned.
Her cold eyes didn't seem to be laughing there was a cold light inside them, Lavender stared back shocked.
"I thought father said I'd be brought back unharmed," Lavender said.
"Honestly that's just him. Our orders are from Grandmother," Diana said honestly.
Their grandmother had more authority than anyone else in the community so much so that the king, their dad can be turned into a puppet ruler at any time she wanted. So it was surprising to Lavender that her grandmother actually made a move though she didn't seem like she'd do so.
"Her exact words were to use any means necessary to get you back," Tory shrugged.
'That'd mean 3rd and 4th sister isn't chasing me then. Where's 5th and 6th sister then...I'm the 7th princess, there's 31 of us siblings. Why'd grandmother make her move no way so late,' Lavender thought.
"Easy she was waiting until our so called father would side with the other Dimensions," Tory said.
"But why," Lavender said confused.
"Of course to excommunicate him from our society and community. I mean he is going against the wishes of our Dimension. I mean wasn't that why your running away. By the way grandmother promised you to my harem, meaning Diana no killing her," Tory smiled.
Diana blasted Lavender's leg while clicking her tongue.
"Do you know that our father is such a flirt, he's a playboy. By the way we have more than 31 siblings. That's also the reason grandmother hates him," Tory said.
"She's been waiting and watching for the right moment to get rid of that thing," Diana said disgusted.
Lavender was in pain from losing her left leg, a white light flashed in front of them blinding all three.
"Go now," Rembra yelled. "I'll stall these two."
Rembra had come annoyed since the were using flash moves near her palace, the beam had destroyed her library of grimoires. She was angered so she came even though she had denied that she help Lavender.
Lavender swam with a fuzzy eye sight, the flash of light from Rembra's magic plus her losing blood. She was also missing her left leg, her sister Diana's skill was special it made sure that once hit no one can regenerate the part hit. Seeing that it wasn't a good idea to go to her serpent form either she quickly swam for the surface. She needed to go on land fast, if she tried to go into her sea serpent form and swim it'd be suicidal for her to try. Blurry vision added to the part that she no longer has a leg her swimming in the giant sea serpent form would get her killed more easily.
She breathed heavily as she crawled to shore and fainted. I hope 8th and 9th sister doesn't do anything stupid, that was her last thought as she fainted on the beach.

SWTOR: The Alpha Legacy - Alexandra 'Under the Black'
This was the first character backstory and first full story in The Old Republic era after 'Project Alpha: A Summary: 'Old Republic to Current Operational Era'. This one was actually written much later. Several of the full stories were done and there was a need to introduce the Mother of several of the main characters. Much later on I started a timeline and this seemed to fit nowhere else, but right after the introduction story: Alexandra De'nabre lost everything on one of the moons of Felucia. But life found her again. As a Mirialan Jedi, she was sworn to the Unity and to the Force; casting both away once she believed both left her. The Force finds her again. And brings her back a part of her life she believed she lost. Her children. But in a cruel twist of fate, the very Republic she once defended is suddenly out to get her. Not because in her new life as an infamous pirate she committed crimes against them. The children she lost are now wards of the Republic and a special project called: Alpha. It's granted him what is widely considered the most unlucky of inconveniences: becoming host to a powerful but pernicious spirit that will act as his guide and protector--and one day end his life. Sairne is sworn to stand by August's side and, when the fancy strikes her, advise him, all in the service of atoning for a past life she can’t remember having committed a grave enough offense to earn her soul indentureship in the mortal realm. Bound by a celestial contract neither one can negotiate, their fates are all they've ever known. But in a city ruled by religious right and where magic runs deep as bedrock, their search for a missing friend leads them to a dark conspiracy that could transmute the very magic that binds them to their fates, and that might grant them the ultimate choice: do they save the city or save themselves? Cross-posted on Wattpad and Ao3. For fans of fantasy YA story beats if they starred adults instead, 1920s inspired setting, lots of banter, larger cast of characters, somewhat soft magic system. Completed, but being actively edited prior to posting! I'm the only captain on this ship, so mind any errors.
