《Tales of the Path to Godhood》Chapter 0020 Which Prince?

The deafening screams of cheers and praises blasted at my ear drums. I could not understand a single thing which was spoken. The blasted and scorching smell still lingered in the air, making it hard to breathe through my nose.
I glided my gaze towards the prince. His expression was listless - as if he didn't even care that someone just died a horrible death.
Stuffing another nut into his mouth, his cheeks bloated up and made him look even more like a pig. Lazily he heaved his right hand upwards, calling for silence.
The cheers died down and only the crunching and chomping noises from the prince's eating echoed through the arena.
Under a thinking glare, he stared at me - judged me – while he continued to munch, and munch, and munch. Crumbles rained down his lips and rolled over his protruding belly.
Smacking his flabby arms onto the armrest, his fat wobbled and the crumbles streamed down his body.
He leaned a little bit backwards while clutching the armrest. Taking a deep breath and holding it, he leaned back forward. Using this momentum, he grunted heavily and heaved his body up.
When he left his throne completely and stood on the ground, he released his breath in a rumbling moan, clearly showing his struggle.
A little smirk made its way onto his face. He licked his greasy lips and roared, "You did well!"
"And as promised, the 'Nine Sun Chasers' Card will be yours. Additionally, as the winner of this fight, you are from now on the strongest fighter of the arena."
"Serve under the great me - the second prince, Li Fu! Be one of my guards. If you do so, I will make sure that you live well."
'Wait, wait, wait! What?! "The second prince" you said?' I was left totally confused.

'But the mission only stated to kill the prince. It didn't say which prince… So which prince should I kill?'
I didn't know what to do. 'I can't just kill the prince in front of me on a guess. Maybe if I kill him, the mission remains the same because I killed the wrong prince. I can't do that.'
In my distress I looked at Bao Lie in hope that he knows what to do. But he looked frozen like a statue and didn't move in the slightest. He was probably stunned by this too.
"So, ahhhh… what was your name again?" the prince asked and licked his fingers afterwards.
How could I answer that? It's every time the same! Every time I'm asked for my name, but never can I answer…
I pointed at my throat and tapped at it while shaking my head.
"Okay. Never mind. I'll just call you Jingyin[1]. What is your answer, Jingyin? Do you want to serve as my guard?"
'If I am his guard, I will always know where he is and simultaneously earn money with this. I will just research in my free time who the prince mentioned in the quest is,' I thought.
'If it really is the prince before me, I will kill him by surprise. With the money earned from being his guard, I could also buy me a new voice.'
It all made sense in my head and I nodded at the prince, agreeing to being his guard.
"HAHAHAHA!!" A bellowing laugh rang out.
His laugh sent layers over layers of fat jiggling on his body. He grabbed his belly and held it, as if he tried to stop the motion or else he would break a sweat from laughing.
He roared, "Great! Great! Little Ya, give him the price!"

Following his words, one of his female servants came down onto the arena's field.
Her dark brown hair was woven into a braid and cascaded down her shoulder. A thin cloth of green silk spanned over her chest and stretched outwards to each of her index fingers, giving the impression that she has wings of silk.
Her flat belly was in full view, not covered by anything. Her hips swung at every step like a waving tide.
An emerald-green skirt of thin silk flowed over her hips and down towards her ankles where a single silver bell was attacked.
Every single step she took made the bell ring and chime heavenly.
She walked further and further towards me. She only stopped when she was a few centimeters away from me.
My face was now directly in front of her. I could see every single eye lash by her eyes. I could feel her breath on my skin. She smelled like fresh oranges and a tinge of cinnamon.
Her rosy lips parted and she whispered nearly inaudible, "You made a mistake."
Suddenly something hard and edgy was pushed into my hand, and she turned around and went back to the prince's side.
'I made a mistake?' I wondered myself.
Looking down into my hand and checking what she gave me, a grey card with spots of yellow laid in my hand. The purple circle in the middle contained an image of 9 blazing orbs floating in an arc.
Quickly, I crushed the card, and it crumbled apart. A sudden flash of purple light blended my vision and left my eyes squinting in pain.
*ding*
I heard the ringing of my phone and looked at it.
[6 unread messages…]
'What?! Why six? What happened?' I asked myself and opened them.
[Message]: You killed Yun Hua (LV 15)[Vampire (Elite)].
[Message]: 3000 Coins gained from kill.
…
[Message]: Level limit already reached. No experience gained.
[Message]: Please complete the breakthrough-quest to breach level 10.
…
[Message]: Occupation changed from [NPC(Elite)] to [Guard(Elite)]
…
[Message]: Magic skill was gained and unlocked MP of the player.
…
'I got money from killing? And since when do I need to do a quest in order to become stronger in level?'
The rest of the messages weren't so important to me. The occupation change couldn't possibly affect anything and unlocking MP for a magic skill was only logical.
Before I could even look at the breakthrough-quest or test the new skill, the announcer shouted, "The fight is over! Everybody, please leave the arena."
The prince gave a slight chuckle and cracked another nut open, stuffing it into his face. With a full mouth he said; "Let's go!" with spit and food shooting out from his mouth.
He turned around and walked towards the VIP exit. His servants orderly lined up behind him and followed him obediently.
I sprinted towards Bao Lie and the red-haired guard, and we lined ourselves up behind the female servants, walking out of the arena.

I should also mention that this will get crunchy as far as numbers go and please pay attention to the Profanity tag.
