Leoren readied himself, he cast a very fancy-looking spell, didn’t look like it actually did anything. Then like a bullet, not that they have bullets in this world, ran at me. He was surprisingly fast, not just for an old man.

I didn’t know if Leoren had an ability similar to [Judge] or [Analyze].
Normally mana MP or SP is used to create or use spells and other abilities, let’s see if he knows. I produced some hand signs.
“Hitsuji, Mi, Tora.”
He came to a sudden halt and jumped back.
“Kage Bunshin no Jutsu.”
A few dozen clones appeared. The spell was actually called [Mirror Image] but functionally it was the same as shadow clone.
It was the first time I used this skill so the clones should be very weak, a good punch would make them disappear.

I sat down on a rock and watched.

The clones flew back and hit the ground hard then disappeared.
I applauded the man as he was tearing through them.
But it was no wonder, they had no brains, no strategy and by the looks of it, also no skills to use.
When the ‘mage’ was finished with them I used [Mirror Image] a second time.

I could see the difference immediately, they were fast, smarter, and even used a few weaker skills. My babies all grown up.
One of them sat next to me, though he wasn’t like the rest.
This one looked like I did originally.
“Oh Asher III, what are you doing,” he said exhausted, “attacking-"
There was an explosion on the battlefield, we ignored it.
“Attacking two kingdoms at once and in this style? I thought we were much more smooth than this. Could you not have gotten into this kind of politics first? I thought we wanted to be an adventurer. What was your biggest adventure until now? Saving a cat? Come on man. We’re the most powerful guy in the world and you want to be a villain first? Save that for later. What happened to the idea of being the ‘bad/evil’ isekai protagonist while in actuality still being good? Like every isekai protagonist?”
“I guess you’re right, Asher I. If I destroy the world first then later I can try to be a good guy. I’ll search for something else.”
He nodded, I nodded, all of the other clones nodded.
It was very much decided.
I un-summoned all the remaining clones and stepped up the Leoren.
“It was fun while it lasted, wasn’t it? I have to say sorry, I had an extensive talk with myself and realized that this is no way to do things. When you see me next time I’m sure it is to help you. Goodbye. Come Faye, we’re leaving.
