Today was my birthday, I was finally eighteen.
I lived my life as a common man until this point but today everything will change.
I stacked Buff X about 3650 times.
Theoretically, the next buff I would get should be about 36500 stronger, right?

Over the years I used the randomizer to get a few new skills just to test out which one I could get but I couldn’t use most of them, either because I didn’t meet the requirements or didn’t have enough MP to cast them.
Today is also a special day.
There is a fun little lottery in town today.
I heard the first price was a pretty nifty buff.

Upon using this buff the recipient’s MP regeneration will increase by 100% and the Ability Cooldown will be reduced by 50% for 10 minutes.
This effect has a one-day cooldown period.”
So instead of lasting 10 minutes it will last for about 25 days and my mana reg will be out the ass and I can spam every single skill with a cooldown that I have.

Even if I don’t win first place I don’t think the other prices will be buffs.
More like some cool armor or money and who could resist that?
Not me, that’s for certain.
I was penniless.
Just yesterday I basically ran away from home. I told my mom and dad that I wanted to have an adventure come my eighteenth birthday.
My mother was strangely happy about it and wished me luck, my father on the other hand broke down in a happy cry.
“My little boy will now become a man,” that’s what he told me, he also handed me a bag of silver.
Eighteen was the perfect age to have an isekai adventure and I didn’t need my parents sticking around for that.
It would be kind of awkward having them around while I get a harem or something like that.
I already spend every single silver piece that I had on a cool sword.
I had to have it because it looked like Vergil’s sword Yamato.
Of course, the people here don’t call it that but just an eastern sword.
It’s weird that the equivalent of japan here is called ‘The East’ too.
There was a loud bell chiming outside and that could only mean one thing.
Time for me to win my prize.
A lot of people gather around.
There was a big platform with boxes on pedestals.
There were a few people up on the platform but a woman was taking the charge.
With magic, she enhanced her voice so everyone could hear her.
She went and called out everyone who won something by prize number.
And a few prizes were actually very nice.
And I was surprised when I heard my name come up so early.
“Winner number eighteen: Asher Burell. Come up here and get your prize.”
Climbing up the platform I waved at the people now beneath my feet.
“What did I get, good woman?”
“Something very special.”
She paused for dramatic effect.
“[Lucky Bag]. You, my good Sir now have gotten a buff which grants you a 100% increase in experience for everything for 10 minutes. Better get out the instruments and play some, won’t you?”
