《Even in the afterlife, I still hate mondays ...》End of the prologue - The hands of Fate

“So, what could be so important that we require such secrecy” asked the baldy toward the caped figure of his spymaster.
“Fate has taken it’s course”
The bald figure frowned “Already ? This is much too soon, none of us are ready ! Are you sure ?”
“Yes, I have proof” said the capped figure while clapping her hand. The next instant a paper appeared in her hand, on it various complex curve could be seen, arranged in various colored diagrams. The council leader took them and started reading, rapidly stopping to complain.
“Tss, what am I supposed to understand from this ? This is nothing but gibberish to me” He said, shaking the stack of paper with his hand.
The capped lady frowned under her hood, she didn’t want to word it since she hardly believed it herself, but she was sure that no mistake had been made and, as such, she was forced to accept the result. Taking a deep breath, she then spoke in a low voice.
“A foreign entity has entered the main plane”
“Foreign ? What do you mean by that ?” Asked the bald man, unsure of what he should deduct from this information.
“Something or rather someone that does not belong to our humanoid plane has entered it. A being of incommensurable power, a being of Fate.”
Eyes bulging the baldy stuttered “You cannot mean that ~”
The spy master nodded “That is exactly what I mean”
Rubbing his eyes the bald man took a few moment to calm himself, suddently looking very tired. He then asked “Ok, what do we do now ?”
“Nothing” responded the spymaster readily “We are powerless to do anything. Fate has taken it’s course and will leave nothing in it’s wake” Turning to the bald man she continued “At this point, we can only hope that Fate decided to work in our favor.”

“I have much reason to doubt it” Said the bald man
“Then we are doomed” winced the spymaster “Simple as that”

Hello everyone, this is Author-sama speaking. Hope you liked the cleaned version of the prologue, a good fifty pages that I took time to reread a good 20 times. Normally everything should be correct and make sense, if you find anything wrong or confusing please don't hesitate to drop a comment on the chapter or in the Q&A section.
Also, english is not my mother tongue so I may be unaware of some strange phrasing or uncommon mistakes. Makes sure to report them so I can keep improving.
Now concerning the updates, I don't know when I will be able to deliver the next one. I found that I work much better with large releases where I have as much time as I want to clean up my chapters. This also give me more flexibility to work a lot for a few day then not at all for a few weeks. I think I will keep it that way for now ...
Now this is the end of this short author note (and short chapter but you guys just got 50 pages, no complaints shall be taken seriously, you have been warned.)
Tune in next time for some world building with our favorite floaty soul.
Just to destroy a few dreams / reassure a few people, don't expect a fallout like story.
This story is going places (probably your local trash bin) but not there ^^

It was like he was staring to an abyss only to be swallowed by a void, an endless one at that. The only tinge of light came from the golden ring above his head. He looked at his face but he can't see any features that he could describe. Then his eyes wandered at the golden ring above his head. His sky-blue draconic eyes glowed with a golden hue. He retaliated by breathing his icy breath but even the absolute ice was frozen by the abyss black ice magic that was crawling through his body.
