Adam felt that something was sticking a stick in his belly, so he opened his eyes in a daze to see who had woken him up. The young man did not have the courage to speak to the two intruders, but he was quite surprised with what he was seeing, he did not understand how, but there were 2 boys of no more than 8 years old pushing him with some wooden sticks as if to check if he was still alive.
The two boys were dressed in gray robes and both had rather disheveled black hair and green eyes. One had freckles and the other didn't, but all their other facial features seemed to be identical.
—He opened his eyes, run!—one of the boys yelled, poking a shovel into Adam's head as he ran towards one of the cave walls.
—It won't open!—the other boy with freckles yelled as he slammed his hand against the wall of the door and yelled in fear—Open it, old man! There's someone else inside!
Stunned by the scene, Adam touched his head with some pain, incredulous with what he saw: in 10 years living here, no one else had managed to enter this cave.
The eyeless old man formed on the stone wall being hit by the children and shouted angrily:
—Already! Keep silence! You were the ones who asked the sheep to come here! Now shut the fuck up and listen to the big redhead! And you suicidal, get off your ass and read the mission letter, it's on top of your desk!
Adam didn't really want to do anything, so he just stared at the lake as the boys watched him fearfully from one of the cave walls.
The eyeless old man, seeing that Adam did not move with even more anger, shouted:

—You remember the sheep, well, and checking that the merchandise worked. Now go and read the letter! You have a favor to pay!
Adam moved over to his desk to keep the screaming from continuing to bother him. On the table there was a letter and a very small wooden box. The young man took the letter and opened it to see its contents. Inside the letter were two ID cards from the middle floors and a very short message.
The message said:
"Carry the box to the white wooden shelves – Take Apollo and Hermes to the wooden floor market and buy sweets from the boys"
The ID cards read: Apollo/70423 - Hermes/70424
—I don't understand—Adam said with some anger at the mission—Why do I have to buy candy for some children? What do they have to do with white wooden shelves and the favor I owe?
The eyeless old man appeared in front of the young man and looked at him angrily as he shouted:
—Finish the mission perfectly, or I'll never let you in this cave again, boy! If you want to screw your life up so much, at least be useful and try to read one of my books, clown!
Saying that, the eyeless old man spat in Adam's face and disappeared into the wall. Adam in disbelief to discover that the old man could spit, he wiped the spit with his white robe. Strangely, he raised his hand to see the portion of robe he had wiped himself with and discover that the old man had spat black ink at him.

The royal bastard of House Vasquer, Argrave, changed after his stay studying magic at the Tower of the Gray Owl. The sickly man's awkward posture and cruel behavior have been replaced with a neat dignity and acerbic wit. Though once listless, he now strives towards his goals with a life-or-death tenacity. Most come away thinking he seems to know too many details about too much. Few can claim to know his motives or his goals. Yet behind that confident appearance, the primary contributor for an open-world RPG's wiki battles existential dread and things far beyond his ken as he struggles to adapt to a grim, gothic fantasy world mirroring his favorite game. The prospect of fighting against a world-ending calamity loses all of its appeal when it transitions from entertainment to reality.
