《The Lost Characters [Vanilla Dark Fantasy]》028

Adam opened his biography, hoping to see what secrets he could read. If the school gave Adam the biography after he managed to read 10 pages, it should be because he can read it. But surprisingly for the boy, the biography was completely empty.
—They scammed me!—Adam yelled, throwing the notebook on the floor in a huff—Even now they're still empty! He thought that after school they could be read!
—Didn't they explain to you at school how they work? You have to write about her and ask her something— Said the eyeless old man— Librarians always take out her biographies to ask her things before touching the shelves.
Adam followed the advice, picked up the notebook from the floor and wrote roughly on the paper: 'Hello I'm Adam, who are you?'
To Adam's surprise, the words he wrote faded from the paper and a message appeared in their place: 'Adam...'
—Did I spell it wrong?—Adam muttered, a little uncomfortable at not being able to communicate with his godfather.
—Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to answer that—The eyeless old man said: the bookshelves could not read the books to help the librarians.
Just in case, Adam took out a notebook and checked the word, then seeing that he hadn't made a mistake, he wrote: 'I am Adam, and who are you? .
The message was diluted on paper and another message appeared in its place: 'We have the same name'
—What a coincidence—said the eyeless old man, who was curious about Adam's conversation with his Godfather.
Adam was thrilled that his writing was working and asked, 'Do you know any secrets?'
The message faded into the paper and another message appeared in its place: 'Too many...'
—Like all librarians, he's not very talkative and very pragmatic with his words—the eyeless old man complained.

Adam changed the question to see if he could get something useful: 'If you were a student, without parents, how would you learn a language faster?'
The message faded on paper and another message appeared in its place: 'Don't Learn: Find Out!'
Adam asked him what he meant, but it seemed that his godfather is one of those who likes riddles. Adam guessed that his godfather didn't expect him to discover a new language, so his godfather must be referring to something else.
Then Adam thought of the mini-word idea; you could say that was his discovery, but someone else had further improved him to the point of being known to everyone as characters.
If Adam could do the same with the rest of the language, then it would be easier for him to learn it, he remembers that the characters he learned in practically a day thanks to discovering the background of the idea.
Adam tried to write his thought to his godfather, but he realized that he didn't quite know how to write such a long paragraph, but luckily his godfather got the idea and a sentence formed in his notebook: 'Rediscover everything because everything is false'
—It seems like another enigmatic message—said the eyeless old man calmly—but be careful, young hero. You don't know if a madman is the one you're talking to, and following wrong advice will only end your adventure.
Adam listened to the old man's warning and closed the notebook, it was better to learn the language calmly and have more criteria to decide, but also an adventurous part of Adam decided to follow the advice of his godfather and seek to discover his own ideas.

The cover is a make-shift drawing I made some time ago. The Seven Kingdoms moved at the will of their prophets. They were the voices of their gods, and the deities wanted blood. After being caught in the crossfire, a young man named Sura died among the endless corpses. However, he inherited the Curse, and the Curse did not allow him to rest. When Titus conquered the Seven Kingdoms, he was still there. When mages became the new prophets, he was still there. Centuries later, the lich had faded into the unknown as the aide of Fia, the bastard mage and the only descendant of Titus. A dead man did not have anything to protect, so what did he fight for? For the game was not over, and it was still his to lose.

Changes
Changes is a collection of three stories that take place after the events of Edict. It would benefit the reader to read both Hy'Ruh-ha and Edict. Story one: The Monk and The Princess After a several months break from duty, Soletus, is asked to serve by the Patriarch as an escort to a conference the Brotherhood is attending. The only catch is he's acting as a second warden because someone wants him promoted. All he has to do is be at his best. However, his best is put to the test as he led surly men and then get whisked off to solve a disturbing plot with a determined and bored princess. Notice: Please note, that Soletus, aka main character is asexual. That is part of being a neth elf. This story delves into information about it neth and gets into the neth elf experience a few times in this story. You've been warned. Also note: As much as I didn't want to put it in this story, avoiding it was a futile effort on my part. There were things I needed to explain about Soletus and it's hard to write personal tales about character when avoiding talking about certain personal aspects of them. Story Two: The Sun and Stars - Summary and Date TBA

Memories of the Bean Times
To those who have survived: I write this now, for I fear my death is imminent. Barnabas Schmidt wasn't serious when he said he knew what was going on in Paris. In the year 1587, the small farming village of Dijon in the Kingdom of France is attacked by seemingly immortal monsters made out of baked beans. As Schmidt fights against the Beans on the front lines, the Beans steadily approach the Empire's borders. As Sauer searches for the Beans' weaknesses, the Church of the Beanmeister paves the way for the arrival of the God. As Krause helps the Church, she begins to question her loyalty to the Beanmeister.
