"I honestly don't know why you bother with that guy. He's already in F rank, let him rot in obscurity." A girl looked up from her paperwork, glancing at the woman in front of her. Her hair was dyed pink, her eyes were black, and she wore the same black suit every other employee wore. "Charlie!" The woman next to her seemed angry at what the girl believed to be a logical statement. "What, Monika? What makes this guy worth it?" The girl played with her pen, her interest at its absolute peak. "He's, well...he's had a hard time at it, alright? He should get a chance to be better." Charlie chuckled. "Really? Sorry, Monika, but a support type is a support type. They either get lucky or they don't." "You shouldn't have to hope someone won't try to dominate-I'm sorry, have you finished your paperwork?" Monika inquired, her face a deep red. The girl shook her head. "Alright, hand it over." The girl gave Charlie the packet, who scanned through it and placed it in a file, and explained it would be added to the girl's digital file in a few days. "Alright, thank you again for coming in, and congrats on reaching level 60." The girl nods to Charlie. "Level 60? That's-ow!" Monika recoils after Charlie kicks her. "Alright. Bye." The girl makes her way to the exit, placing an earbud in her ear and tapping play on her playlist.
Walking along the sidewalk, she allowed herself to take in the scenery. The buildings where gigantic, easily reaching past the sickly grey clouds in the scarlet sky. The three giant, yellow orbs in the sky were slowly lowering, making way for the three white orbs beginning their ascent. The sight reminded her of a painting her mother had made.

"Mindy, little Valentine, may your heart shine like the suns in the sky."
She shook the memory out of her mind, focusing instead on the sidewalk, lit by the streetlights. Her blue sweatshirt reflected the bright streetlights, revealing the faint burn marks it had received over the years from her "never-ending" training. She unconsciously played with one of the spots after she noticed it. 'Weird.' she thought, 'I feel warm.'
...
She laid in bed, scrolling through her messages, being sure she hadn't missed any. She stopped on a contact with a bright 1 next to it. She opened it. A message from one of her friends, asking about her availability.
We need to know if you got the juice for a fireworks show.
She grinned. "Don't doubt the power of a Lvl 60 fire user." She wrote, hitting send.
Well alright. Just, don't pass out this time. I can't keep dragging your sorry ass to bed whenever you get drained. Mindy sent her friend a good night before throwing the messenger window into the void. She hits the power button on her glasses, placing them on her bedside table. She had already changed into her nightwear of black sweatpants and a red t-shirt. A rarity for her, considering her nightowl tendencies. She went over to the window, giving the outside world one more look before bed. The moon's glowed brightly in the black void of a sky, although people would still have to rely on lanterns and flashlights if they wished to traverse the world at night. An example of which was currently in front of the building. A boy in a black jacket and black pants, looking down at a notebook, holding a flashlight over it. The boy suddenly looked up, and the two locked eyes. Neither of them moved for what felt like an eternity, one appearing confused and the other having the look of contemplation.
