The City officials were very disheartened to learn that The dead man who's body was cut in two was a Member of the Day-vine Family, and asked hundreds of questions to each Member of Gabe's group before they let them go,. They Recognized Matthew and Seygo as Honored Family members, and knew they were telling the truth the story was cut and dry. The man had tried to rob them and Gabe had used the Heavenly treasure in self defense. Gabe had come up with a Semi possible story on his feet about why he even had the dial. He Mental messaged Malner the whole thing before they were questioned. The Fallen tiger Sundial was Malners. He was Incredibly rich from His ability as a Foreseer, as he was one of lucky few who could use his gift to find Treasures. He had given it to Gabe as a gift for a private Favor Gabe did him in the Farming city near the Yellow belly mountains. This story covered all the necessary Details, and could be Attested to by All of Gabe's group. Who knew Malner was rich, and that Gabe had gone to the city just a bit ago. Gabe's ability to hide the Sundial and then summon it at will was the bigger problem and he refused to divulge any details about that question until he could come up with something. Those were personal questions anyway, and no’one could force him to answer.

After being released they flew back to the Family house in silence, Nether Seygo or Matthew feeling like asking Gabe the questions they had there were deep conflicts in their minds about this whole situation. They were well aware that this could bring big trouble to their family, killing a well known Channeler of a powerful Family no matter in self defense or not was no small matter and was certain to bring enmity with the Day-vine family. Also killing one of their powerful Acolytes could only add more trouble to the mess. Gabe was Wondering if he should put the Sundial back where it was, or pretend he couldn't Put it back. There were problems both ways from what he saw. But he didn't want people to question if he was carrying any other heavenly treasures, so he left it out for the time being. He wasn't certain about the Two men he'd just killed and what would happen now, but he knew the story wasn't over yet. Which made his stomach turn slightly, he was at a very favorable time in his life right now. If the Day-vine Family aimed to get revenge all his hard work could be dashed. And even the Sundial couldn't save him. he was grateful he had Bought Several space move tombs before he even entered the auction, these moves were the best the city had to offer. Space was one of the most tricky elements, and He could work with tricky right now. He'd also bought a Teleportion Move tomb, but he couldn't learn even its lowest form until he was a realm higher.

He spent the next week learning his moves slowly and Cultivating, the news about what happened bringing a stir to the house but nothing else Untill Gelgar came back from his trip. The Man sent a servant to bring him to his office the very day he returned, Gabe left the training room sweaty but didn't have time to bathe as the servant sent to get him said it was urgent. He was led to Gelgar's office and immediately let in. The man sitting on the other side of the desk was not the same smiling Gelgar He'd been less then a year ago. Now he was frowning deeply and looked angry, it was almost enough to make Gabe flinch. "Sit Gabriel." He ordered speaking like he would allow no trouble today. Gabe nodded and did as ordered not speaking, just thinking and taking in the situation. Not certain what to expect. "Now, I have no idea how to handle this." Gelgar said sincerely his expression still firm and direct. "But there is no way to Beat around the bush here." He leaned forward and looked at Gabe intensely. "First I have some questions, Questions you had better answer honestly. I have discovered Two lies that you have told my Family and me already and that is plenty. The first being your origins, there are no Disbanded members of the Hellvine family that match your story. The only possible match is A boy with a Hunted object as his Soul-Beast. And unless you somehow figured out how to magically break the heavenly laws and change your Soul-beast out for Not only one but two others then you are not him. This, is none of my business however. Perhaps you are from the Hellvine family perhaps not. You tell a pretty convincing story ether way. The next lie is much more dishonorable." His eyebrows came down and he spoke slowly. Gabe was keeping his expression natural, unsure of how to respond and letting his mind run escape plans in case the Greenwood family sold him out. He didn’t really believe they would do that, but he was too close to a good life to relax his guard. "You told my great Ancestor that Malner was an Acolyte of the Fourth-sun family house. After just a few inquiries I've discovered that is false. Can you explain this?" Gabe nodded also speaking sincerely. "Yes, it was a lie. I Can not reveal his true identity, it would put his life at risk so I made up a harmless story. I am sorry if I’ve defrauded you because of this… I did not intend originally for him to stay here. But Vernon offered and things got out of hand." Gelgar scoffed. "You can not expect me to believe anything you say from here on. You are too good a liar for that Mister Gabriel." Gabe didn't show it, but those scant words struck a painful chord with him. It meant he was no longer on good terms with The head of this household, and in turn no longer on good terms with Seygo's Great grandfather. "the last thing I have to say to you..." Gelgar sat up straight and looked strained as he spoke. "Is that you are no longer welcome in this house." Gabe's eyes widened slightly. Uh oh. he held two things at the ready in his inner space, though just looking at him you couldn’t tell he was at the ready. One Was a teleport scroll made special for a quick get away, the second was the Sundial that he had finally decided to put back in there so that it would be at the ready when he needed it. Gabe was about to speak and ask a key question but Gelgar held up a hand to stop him. "Not because of your Lying, to some degree I feel more in the wrong about looking into it then I do about what I found. Especially after hearing the story Matthew and Lan have told me. But I am kicking you out because my family has been in contact with the Higher ups of the Day-vine Family and They are more then upset about what happened, and demand we stop giving asylum to the murderer of their Clansmen. They will not listen to the story, and refuse any form of recompense from us not that we should be the ones offering recompense.” Gelgar sighed. “I'm sorry, I know I promised you a year here. But to put it lightly, the Greenwood family is in dire times. Even with our strong pride and strength We can not afford bad relations with anymore Family houses. We are not nearly as strong or as feared as the Hellvines I’m afraid. I told them my honor was on the line here as I had given my word, and that You are far from deserving any punishment for what transpired, but I am being forced to break off with you entirely. The head of the family herself issued the order. I am to drop you off at the nearest farming city. You will have Twenty four hours to prepare and I Had to contend for every one of those hours." He let out a long breath. Gabe was mostly stunned, the Greenwood family really was honorable beyond reproach. And this branch led by Gelgar and Vernon seamed even more so then the rest. He Had no doubt Gelgar really had fought for him to stay here, and that it was because of larger problems that they couldn’t protect him. "I'm sorry Gabriel, a talent like you is a rare thing, and you have been nothing but pleasant as a guest. But there is nothing I can do." The man looked like he didn't like what he had to do, and wanted to get it done quickly. Gabe felt anxious, and yet calm at the same time. Mostly because he expected this exact outcome. Though he thought perhaps the Greenwoods would take a bit longer to fold under the pressure. The Day-vine Family was after him, which was almost a death sentence for anyone. And The Family he'd gotten so close to had just dumped him. A very familiar feeling rose up in his chest about that. and Gelgar had a very familiar look on his face as well, it reminded him of his Father’s face, stern and decisive. Gabe coughed into his hand. "Well ah.... sir. I'm sorry it's coming to this." Gabe stood finally letting his guard down, trusting Gelgar to keep his word about those twenty four hours. "But it won't be the end of me. I've come out of Things you wouldn't believe sir, and faced Things that scared my insides enough to turn them into mush. But I'm still here. Maybe not by destiny's design, but by good Fortune." Gabe held out his hand. "I'm sorry I lied to you, and I hope this isn't the last time we meet. I'll be ready in an hour, is it alright if I have Malner take me so we don’t trouble any of your busy Acolytes?." Gelgar shook his hand firmly, well aware of what the Man was thinking. The less time he gave his enemies time to plot against him the better. And if he flew out with Malner he could keep his destination a secret, no'one would know where he'd gone not even an Acolyte. Gelgar wondered if this mystery man could really hide from the almighty Day-vine family. In his mind he truly thought Gabe was already dead, his only hope was that somehow the Hellvine family would step in. But Gegar’s instincts flared up as he touched Gabe’s hand, somehow he knew that he would see Gabe again. That the next time they met he would be even more powerful, perhaps stronger than even Vernon. That instinct scared him, he almost wished it wasn’t true since right now he was throwing the man too the wind and was essentially destroying all the Good will they had built up with Gabe. But he cast those unconfirmed feelings to the side. Unlike his grandfather Vernon he did not believe in superstition. "Yes, absolutely you can leave on your own if you wish, no Greenwood will try and stop you. I hope we meet again too Mister Gabriel. As odd as this has been, I can't say I don't wish you the best." The Family might demand it, but he didn't like kicking Gabriel out at all. Not after the story he'd heard about what happen. Bullzan might not have harmed his Loved ones as they were high members of the Family, but then again he might have anyway. As far as Gelgar understood Gabe might have saved Their lives. And they were throwing him at the feet of the Day-vine Family like an offering of peace. Gelgar would wash his hands of the whole thing, if these weren’t such brutal times for all Greenwoods he would not allow this to happen at all. As Gabe left his office Gelgar said one final thing. “If you do decide to leave our lands on your own, make sure you don’t head west our south. I hear there are a few dangerous Beasts spotted in those directions. Perhaps they are prowling for something or someone they seam awfully angry.” Gabe nodded back at him with a knowing smile. “Thank you for your concern sir, if anyone I know asks where I went will you tell them I’m heading for the Hellvine family territory.” Gelgar blinked for a second and then smiled knowingly as well. “Sure. That’s exactly what I’ll tell them.”

Gabe Pulled Colin out of the Cultivation closet, and told Malner to get ready they need to leave now before their enemies got a head start. Colin was extremely upset when he heard what had happened. "Why on earth did you kill a member of the Day-vine Family!!?" He shouted, preparing their stuff for travel. Gabe sat at the desk writing as fast as he could. "It was the heat of the moment Colin, and that Man was a piece of Trash. I did his family a favor if only they'd realize it." Colin stopped what he was doing at those words and looked at him. "You really haven't changed at all have you, I thought... I thought you would stop taking crazy risks now that everything is working out for us. But no! You don't even care that our lives are in danger! Your not scared at all!!" At that moment Malner walked in to their room but they ignored him, Gabe looked up and rose an eyebrow at his friend, then spoke very slowly and very clearly not angry but out of time to deal with this same complaining servant he always had to deal with. He felt like his life was going in circles today. "Colin I will never stop taking risks. That is a fact and you should accept it. Yes I do care that our lives are on the line, if I could brake your bond to me I would okay. But I can't, so it's both of us in trouble here. And I am scared, but unlike you I can not afford to allow my fear to control me or how I Act. We both know what that will lead to." Gabe put his head back down to what he was writing, this letter needed his utmost attention. "And if you think for one second I don't know what I've done then you are mistaken. Having a whole Family house against us is something I have done my absolute best my entire life to avoid. But you and I see it differently, you see Danger in making enemies, that we have messed with the wrong family house. I see a Family house who has set their sights against the wrong man. If they only knew what I could do, what I had my finger tips on they would send half an army after me or their entire force. But they don't, and that's our ticket out of this mess." Gabe Finnished his letter and folded it gently. He stood out of his seat and looked at Colin. "You think I'm the same but I'm not, I used to take risks not knowing or understanding what the consequences would truly be. For that I'm sorry. But now I know what I'm risking, and I know that if I don't take the chances given to me then I don't get the Prizes I want. Risk and reward Colin. Danger and sacrifice is just part of life. If you want More life than you must also accept more Risk. Its a simple equation." Gabe walked out of the door with Colin on his heals and the quiet Malner following close behind not missing a word from his master’s lips. "Fine, do what you want Gabe." Colin said with his arms crossed not having any of it. Gabe rolled his eyes as he laid his letter lovingly under the door of Seygo’s room, then he turned quickly on his heal and started marching towards the stairs. Behind him Malner whispered something into Colin’s ear. “Brother, Our Master was right to kill that man. if you had been there you would also agree. And to argue the point when you were not there is very unwise” Malner said it gently not trying to fight or come Against Colin. Colin just rolled his eyes inwardly and didn’t say anything. It seamed his fellow prisoner did not understand at all. Colin had over ten years of travel with Gabe under his belt and in those ten years Gabe had done this same thing thousands of times. Perhaps you could say he was just unlucky that he was forced into these sorts of situations if you were watching from the outside of them, but Colin understood something about Gabe that no’one else did. Gabe was looking for these things. He sought them out on a daily basis. If he thought it could be dangerous, and he had the slightest reason to do it he would jump into the fray with a smile on his face uncaring about what it might mean for the future. It had taken Colin five years of this pattern to piece it all together long ago. He had originally thought Gabe was just stupid, but after so many last minute ideas that saved both their lives, and so many schemes that were so outside the box they didn’t even fit inside the planet Colin had seen just how Crafty Gabe was. And with those smarts Gabe continued to risk their lives, Continued to fall into the worst of situations haphazardly, It was finally clear that it was all be design. It might not look like it but Gabe was doing every inch of it on purpose.

The three men left the Manor with grim faces Each with their own reason to feel loss about having to leave. Gabe looked around at the dark jungle and thought how calm it was, it looked just like it did when they had first come here, But his life did not look the same at all. He wished he could stay for just a little while longer to solidify his relationship with Seygo, but now all that was washed away. Unless something was done about the Day-vine family then the Greenwoods would never allow him to marry her. But he was far from being able to handle such a powerful foe, so he needed to get lost and get gone pronto. Before they pounced on him like the snakes they were.
