《The Bewitching Chaos Ghost System》Phasing Training

"Basically, the plan for us now is to find ways to tremendously increase our prowess in a short amount of time. I forgot to mention this, but my mother is also growing suspicious of who I'm continually exchanging pointers with. It'll be a matter of time before she grows too curious."
Elsa explained to Asher with a deeply pondering expression.
Currently, she and Asher were both leaning against a tree, finding it a more comfortable way to think rather than just standing up.
It wasn't just they had something to lean on, but feeling the vibrant lifeforce spewing from the tree helped soothe both Asher and Elsa's minds.
And after hearing about Elsa's growingly suspicious mother, Asher was more sure of his plans. But before he said it, Asher had a curiosity he needed to be sedated first.
"I see, so we really gotta be mindful of our steps now. Actually, I have an idea brewing in my mind that could change everything. But first, just how powerful is your family, Elsa? I've read that the Tierel Family is also at a High-Class level, but that's about it."
Elsa closed her eyes for a moment, recalling everything she knew about her family. Slight displeasure crossed her face as she had then explained, "My family….I would say they're about slightly stronger than the Melton Family. Both my Mother and Father are unbelievable powerhouses that are even stronger than our Ancient Elders. Moreover, my elder siblings are all powerful geniuses in their own rights."
"Is that so? Just who is the strongest genius then?" Asher curled his eyebrows and asked.
With how powerful Elsa is now, Asher almost dreaded to think just how much more powerful her Elder siblings were.
And Elsa's following words confirmed why Asher should feel some slight dread. "The strongest title would have to go to my Eldest brother. Not only is he the firstborn among us, but he's also a Mid-Stage Earth Tier powerhouse."
"Fuuu~. Certainly, nobody is lacking over there."
Asher could only shake his head in slight exasperation. He expected something outrageous, though it didn't make taking the news any easier.
"Haah….to make it worse, most of them have troubling personalities that make me want to avoid them. And my Eldest brother is one of those troublesome people." There was even exasperation in Elsa's tone.
Anytime when she's talking about her family, it always felt like she was getting sucked dry of energy to do anything. Every single one of them just had that much of a profound weight on her mind.
However, before Elsa's mind continued on that tiring road, she focused back on something curious that Asher had said,
"Let's just take our minds off them for now. Asher, you did say you have an idea, right? Share it with me."
"Oh! Right…." Asher similarly perked up from her thoughts, tossing his gaze back over to Elsa.

She currently watched him with intent curiosity plastered all over her face. Not wanting to let down her expectations, Asher began explaining his idea.
"We're not all doomed or pressed for time yet. There is one way he can tremendously change everything about ourselves, attaining power that can make anyone in this City quake in their heels. And I won't lie, this way is extremely dangerous and could possibly lead to our deaths. But, it's highly likely we can get through it with-"
"You mean System mission, right?"
Elsa pointedly cut off Asher, getting straight to the main point. She had even started to slightly smirk, seeing Asher nearly falter to the ground since he wanted to finish his grandiose speech.
Pushing her slight amusement down, Elsa continued to say, "While those are highly tempting, how can you so assuredly say we can quickly receive those missions? And can it even work with multiple people? Moreover, while I'm not afraid of danger, would we even meet the base requirement to stand even the slightest chance to complete the mission?"
Asher only needed a moment to think over Elsa's questions. After all, these were all questions he had himself and later confirmed with Yuki.
"First off, because of my special System Soul, I have a full-proof way to quickly gain missions. Yes, it can work with multiple people and as for requirement….well, I have an ability that is essentially overpower. It can help us all."
"Hmmm….is that so? Just what other hidden ability you have up your sleeves." Elsa inquired.
From everything Asher had just told her, she didn't doubt a single word. There was this pent ultimate trust Elsa felt with Asher. Moreover, she knows she wasn't some expert on every aspect of System Soul knowledge.
The only thing Elsa was currently worried about was having the right amount of equipment, items, and power to complete these dangerous missions.
Although Asher was expecting Elsa to easily trust his words, he still felt elated seeing her do so. With her corporation, many things can flow smoother for them down the line.
Plus, Asher knows his words were foolproof since Yuki had seriously explained it to him during one of his previous cultivating sessions.
With an invigorated fighting spirit, Asher decided it was time to get some hardcore training in his Ghostly ability.
Out of everything, this would be the major trump card that he must properly grasp in the very near future.
"Since you know that I am a Ghost, I'll let you guess what's going to happen next. Just watch this."
Without properly explaining, Asher jumped off from the tree he was leaning on, crossing several feet away from Elsa. He had then turned around to see Elsa's questioning and curious face watching his every move.
Still not fully explaining, Asher beckons his hand towards Elsa, telling her, "Come on. Throw any attack at me, and you'll see."

'This guy….wait….is really ensuring that?' Elsa felt her curiosity reach a boiling point.
Just because he's a Ghost could that possibly mean….a slight baffling realization crossed Elsa's mind. She raised a single finger and gathered just a small sum of energy at the tip.
The temperature had immediately cooled down, causing Asher to feel a slight shudder sweep through his body.
Even though she wasn't using any Magical Aura, Elsa couldn't stop the natural effects of her Magical Power.
Right then, a chilling blue shine flickered at the tip of Elsa's finger. In an instant, a blue icicle formed at Elsa's fingertips, and without giving Asher a chance to react, she flicked the icicle right at him.
Elsa watched with rapid intensity as, in a blink of an eye, her icicle neared Asher's chest. She wasn't worried at all about this hurting him; at most, it would cause him just an uncomfortable chill.
But nothing Elsa expected to happen occurred. The disbelieving thought she pushed down before suddenly exploded in her mind at this moment.
Elsa quite literally felt her entire mind stop as her icicle phased right through Asher's chest!
"Surprised, are we?"
Asher held a teasing smirk while watching Elsa's bewildered eyes. Thinking about it, this may be the first time he ever saw this calm girl become so fraught with shock.
"Wa-what? But how?? Le-let me try again." Even though Elsa saw it with her own eyes, she just needed to see Asher's phasing ability again.
Her mind was lagging at this moment; whatever just happened shouldn't be possible!
Without waiting for Asher's response, Elsa formed another icicle at her fingertip. And this time, she subconsciously poured more power into her attack.
The temperature took a significant drop once again. Asher could see the cold breath coming from his mouth, and he felt considerable pressure just from Elsa's accidental leakage of her Magical Aura.
Still, Asher didn't say anything, simply smiling towards Elsa, egging her on to attack.
And not letting down his expectation, Elsa flicked her stronger icicle attack straight at Asher. This time, Elsa poured enough power to where it could actually hurt even if Asher filled his body with Spirit Mana energy.
However, just like last time, Elsa's icicle attack phased right through Asher, bringing him no harm at all.
Seeing it for a second time, Elsa went rigid before later sighing a few seconds later.
"Haaah….so you really are Ghost. But-but….I just never heard of this ability, ever! Even from all the old battle text and history war books, nobody ever had the ability phase through any attack, no matter their race or species."
"Well then, I guess I'm breaking new ground once again," Asher so casually said, though a question popped into his mind.
Elsa surely has abundant resources and information at her mere fingertips, far more than he could ever have over the public internet.
And yet….there wasn't one mention about a Ghost race having the ability to phase through anything?
Given how incredibly useful this power is, he supposed he could see it wouldn't be mentioned. Though, Asher couldn't stop a sinking suspicious feeling about the history of actual Ghosts in their world and not the fake ones seen online.
Turning his attention off from that, Asher continued to talk without a change in expression. "In any case, as you can probably guess, though this ability is insane, I need to properly train it up. And you can greatly help me, Elsa."
"Hm, me? How so?" Elsa asked though unsure how she could help out with something like phasing.
"Well, you see, all you really need to do is just freeze over a specific body part of mine so I can focus my Ghost Power to phase through it. With an additional layer of difficulty, I know I can grow this power at an exponential rate." Asher explained.
Elsa tilted her head, squinting her eyes on Asher to gaze whether he was truly serious.
Seeing that he only had his usual calm yet serious expression, Elsa strolled up to him and spoke in a tone filled with concern.
"Are you sure about this? If your phasing ability isn't fast enough, my Ice Magical energy can cause troubling damage to your veins."
"How about we do a test run then? Just cause some frostbite on my arm, and we'll see if I'm fast enough." Asher had assured confidence in his tone.
And though Elsa seemed like she wanted to argue more, she simply relented, knowing that Asher would be adamant about this.
So with high caution, Elsa put her hand on Asher's right arm and swirled a small stream of Ice Magical energy within her palm.
A flickering blue light flashed from the bottom of Elsa's palm, causing immediate frostbite to cover Asher's entire arm.
A freezing chill quickly penetrated inside Asher's arm, nearly reaching his veins within a second. However, Asher's Ghost energy was even quicker than that!
A shimmer blue radiance covered Asher's whole arm, and Elsa's frostbite Magical energy phased right out his arm.
"See? Nothing to worry about. And I already feel like my control is improving after that stunt." Asher proudly proclaimed while casually waving his arm around.
Elsa could only sigh as the results were speaking for themselves. "Alright….we'll do it. But, immediately tell me when it becomes too much for you."
"Of course. Now then, let's get started." Asher eagerly spoke, both him and Elsa feeling new fire burn inside them to get stronger.
