Taf could only smile before saying a few words.
" Remember big flower, at times fear can be the most powerful tool that you have at your disposal..."
As Taf spoke he wavered a bit as his strong demeanour from before was no more. He looked within his dantian at his world qi that was nearly depleted...
Seeing his weaken state May hurried to his side offering him some assistance.
" You apparently expended a significant amount of qi, are you alright?"
She then asked worryingly after seeing his state.
" I'm fine.., I just had to exert more qi within my attacks launched than when facing those lower beast. The amount of qi needed to fight these demon beasts at the 9th stage is quite significant. It was made worse due to the use of both my darkness and fire arts"
Taf then explained as the two hopped on hammerheads backs before giving the order to ascend.
Seeing they were safe within the air, May curiosity had gotten the best of her as she looked at the ground below.
" I could see some of what happened but due to the distance and the blinding white light, I missed a bit. What were you up to, Taf?"
she then asked as she gazed at the dreaded youth.
" Remember what I taught you about being observant of your opponents and environment while using those tools."
Hearing his words May shook her head in agreement as a response.
Taf then went on to disclose how he had baited one of the beasts into becoming his tool while also instilling fear within it.
"Seeing the excessive amount of qi needed to fight both demon beast during the fight, i had changed my tactics somewhat.
Aiming to drive fear within the Jackal so it would have no qualms in doing by bidding, through my aura as well as other means"
He then concluded by saying while May to his side listened.
" So those at the 9th stage can communicate telepathically huh and your beast aura is that powerful...?
What if it had called your bluff?"
May then asked a series of questions, before one dawn on her after seeing the obvious flaw within his plan.

" You know i always have a plan B on hand"
Taf smirked while pulling the dark chain around Hammerhead's neck
"But how do you know these beasts will do as you intend in the end?"
May then asked once more after all the information had been absorbed.
" To be honest I'm not a 100% sure what the outcome might be, but there were some hints given through the demon beast's mannerisms. Especially when my aura was unleashed. We'll just have to wait and see the outcome".
While speaking the red feathered eagle Hammerhead was given the order to return to the abode. As it flew the two sat on its back discussing more about their future actions.
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
At a remote area within the confined Brave Man's Graveyard, demon auras could be felt clashing against one another.
Eight beasts could be seen gathered as all manner of beast sounds could be heard. To a human cultivator deciphering what was being said would be a feat, however, a heated discussion was taking place.
" My fellow demon beasts everything I have spoken is indeed the truth. Try to think about it for a bit. Would there be any need for me to lie about such a thing?"
A brown jackal tried persuading as it addressed the other seven. This was, of course, Zanche who had made its way within the forest to gather the other 9th stage demon beasts.
" Zanche, you do know that what you have disclosed would be seen as nothing but something out of a fable right?
Not only was Falco killed by this human cub at the 7th qi condensation stage after being surrounded by you both, but he is also a Bloodline Primordial Imperator.
Surely you must see how ludicrous your tale appears before us"
A feminine voice was heard out of the seven beasts. The owner of the voice was a large Tiger with long red horns protruding on its forehead.
" Fena I assure you this is the truth. You of all the beasts know my character. If my bloodline was not suppressed would i ever dispose of my core?"
Hearing the Tiger's words Zenche spoke more directly towards it. Drawing on their previous experiences together. After thinking it through the Tigress had to admit the Jackal had a point.

" I vouch for Zanche and his character. I believe that everything he has stated is the truth"
Tigress Fena sighed before she addressed the other six 9th stage beasts.
" Oh, Fena so you will willingly hand over your core to a cub without a second thought. How many of our kind have this human killed and for what, sport..?
I say we lay siege upon this spawn ripping that fiend to shreds in order to wreak our vengeance..."
A purple-furred Hyena smashed a nearby tree to bits after hearing the words of the tigress...
" Matteo it seems there has been a change in your moral compass somewhat. Correct me if I'm wrong but which beast among us has not feasted on cores of others in order to arrive at our stage.
This is the law of the jungle, only a mountain of corpses can lead to the path of the strong. However, since you denounce such acts, why don't you charge into the realm of lords without the added assistance?"
A gigantic Yellow eagle that looked quite similar to hammerhead offered some playful words.
" Herfen i would think you would be the first to support my claims to a siege. After all, it is your Kin that this cub is currently parading as a mount.
Have your species fallen so low? Plague of the skies, i think the term should be changed to ride of the skies.
Tell me something, when can my cubs also get a ride. They have been dying to know what it feels to fly.....
How about it...MOUNT....!!!"
The Hyena named Matteo teased as it eyed the gigantic yellow feathered eagle Herfen.
" How about i bake you and your cubs also along the way, you worthless scavenging mongrel piece of shit..."
Herfen beak slowly opened as sparks of smelting flames could be seen forming.
" Anytime you are ready gigantic yellow feathered... MULE"
Darkness started to shrouded around the purple Hyena Matteo as it readied to unleash an attack on the yellow feathered eagle Herfen.
" Enough!!!"
A suppression encompassed the whole area causing both to forgo their previous attacks. They both looked at the demon beast that spoke.
It was a golden lion whose mane was charcoal black.
" You all have forgotten the simple fact that at the end of the day we are all prisoners. This child is obviously a heavenly genius being trained by a powerful benefactor.
Bloodline Primordial Imperators are some of the rarest beasts within existence. For us lower blood to find one within our world is indeed a feat.
At this moment we are not in control of our own lives. We all have dreams of ascending the realms becoming Beast lords.
This cub has given us a chance to achieve that goal within the long run by allowing us to simply hand over our cores. Do you really think its benefactor would stand aside and let us have our way?
With that small-minded thinking maybe you should go and lay siege. For there is basically no hope in ascending into beast lords"
The gold lion lazily spoke after withdrawing its suppression on both beasts.
" What then do you suggest we do Tensho. You are one of the two most powerful beasts within the confined area. However, you have failed at your attempts previously at ascending realms.
Forgoing your core and starting once more would be the ideal situation for you. How about us that have not reach the peak of the 9th stage?
We have not yet tested our luck by going through the lord realm tribulation. Who knows what the outcome might have been. Forgoing our cores might not be the ideal choice."
A grey wolf made its way to the front of the eight and spoke. It then continued after seeing it had garnered all the attention.
" Also we know that 'she' will definitely not agree seeing that her tribulation is nearing..."
The wolf ended by saying as it noted the silence that was now. After a while, the lion Tensho then spoke...
" How about this? Let me meet with this cub. After that, you all are free to make your choice. "
