《The Gods' Decree》Chapter 69- Ant Colony

As both got ready to charge forth towards qi condensation 2.
There was a white hawk that had previously descended to safety. It was now a slight distance away from the forest that still held an ominous feel.
Now no longer on its back were seven individuals with varying expressions.
They were, of course, the five cultivators and two newbies. Their contrasting expressions, however, had one thing in common as their attention was to the skies within the distance. Seemingly giving the appearance of someone's imminent arrival.
" They should be here soon I'm guessing.."
Nisha went on to say as her eyes Continuously scanned the skies for any peculiarities.
" They are both Lord realm cultivators, for them traversing this distance would not take them long"
The red fiery haired Malgrey similar to Nisha had his eyes staring into the blue sky with sprinkles of white.
" How awesome it will be to see two of our sect's own that are bestowed with the title lord. One day this will be my place also within the sect"
Small inklings of anticipation could be heard in the voice of Lovren, who spoke of the two as though they were his idols.
It was not he alone that was apparently excited. If any member of team Malgrey were poll at the moment and asked what they were thinking, it would be one word...reverence.
Where in their narrow circle within the Dark Abylis Sect would there be any interaction between the two realms?
In this world, strength says it all. Though there might be some factors that might Skew this unspoken rule.
For instance that young genius from 600 years before, who had invented the black devouring dust.
This was the norm...
Strength brought forth power while the weak were well....weak. Status is strength and Strength meant status.
Qi condensation were the most numerous of the sect. Just like the status of ants within a colony. Working ants remained thus until they died, as is the case for the soldiers. No matter the age they were juniors.
A man's beard could be whiter than snow that it dragged on the floor and walked with a cane, yet if he was still at the qi condensation realm.
Then he was still seen as a junior.

If one looked closely they would see two human-shaped figures in close proximity flying through the skies. They were currently moving towards the red forbidden Forest from the east.

" Let's fly a bit lower..."
" Better to be safe than sorry..."
Seeing their inevitable arrival to the Red Forbidden Forrest, a voice came forth from a member of the two. This was a place nicknamed the brave man's graveyard by the sects within close proximity.
Who would be foolish enough to test the validity of its alias? Therefore they made sure to take heed descending closer to the ground.
" Mu, what's your take on this whole thing..?"
" Omega level event or an unranked occurrence."
" Doesn't this peak your interest somewhat...?"
A man that looked in his early 30's that could be mistaken for a scholar, probed through questioning at the slightly older gentleman to his right.
" Why the need for questions, Alders? Won't we know in time?"
" However I'm guessing for the sect to ask for our prompt arrival at the scene, it might be worth a look"
" would a few juniors be so bored as to think of wasting our time. Unless the sect has made it a point to recruit retards within our ranks, I'm guessing it has its validity"
The man referred to as Mu replied nonchalantly while yawning as he saw the red clouds close by.
" These sect missions are a very tiring ordeal and your talking isn't helping at all."
" I feel like I haven't slept in ages, this body of mine has had too many labouring days. Maybe it will be best if i put in for some leave so I can relax a bit"
" What do you think..?"
The elderly man lazily replied while giving his view of the matter.
" Can't you at least appear as if you have some tact man. For heaven's sake Mu you're within the Lord realm..."
The younger of the two who answered to the name Alders berated.
" The sect will soon become tired of this attitude of yours. Remember you are not only representing yourself but the sect also..."
"No wonder you have been stuck for the past decade..."
" With your work ethic, only the Gods know how you arrived at this realm.
His voice became more irritated the more he looked to Mu who flew to his side.

" They always did say you were a talker Alders. Guess that's why I was cursed by having you accompanying me on this mission"
" Maybe someone wanted my life as with your constant yapping, how could a man possibly sleep. Hearing you makes me see a blade as a sweet release into paradise"
" Maybe that's why Elder Mary won't grace you with the privilege of her presence no matter the time of day..."
" Haha..., Hearing your voice constantly makes her want to wear a chastity belt and throw away the key. "
"No....no I think she would melt it just to ensure it could never be found"
Laughter was heard by Elder Mu as he eyed Alders' face that seemed to boil with anger.
" Hmmm..... I won't even dignify you with a response"
After his beratings were water down to a tease, Elder Alders made no more attempts at conversing with the lazy fellow that constantly yawned.

Soon the two elders were spotted in the sky by the awaiting Qi condensation realm cultivators.
Seeing the seven patiently awaiting their arrival.., the two descended.
" We the juniors of two-star team Malgrey humbly greet the two Lord seniors"
All five bent their knees and uttered in unison. Along with the two recruits who were given a quick course on proper sect etiquette. This was a courtesy of complete and utter respect.
" What is this Omega level event that you have made us fly all this way with such urgency"
Alders didn't even see it fit to acknowledge the kneeling sect members and asked the question directly.
" Reporting to Lord senior, on our journey to Marvel City we found a mortal with two affinities. Spirit 40 plus % and Elemental 60 plus %"
Seeing the senior had directly asked the question Malgrey hurriedly responded.
After hearing the two both Elder Mu and Elder Alder were slightly surprised by the reply that had followed.
" Haha..., this is indeed a great blessing for our Dark Abylis Sect. To have gotten a holy child from a mortal city. This is a sign of prosperity within the future of the sect."
"Elders will be jumping at the thought to coax this gem into being their disciple."
" Haha I wonder which of these two is the genius"
Elder Mu laughed as he had fully come to terms with the news. He garnered it was a greet event for the sect.
His eyes scanned both Damian and Lisa who had their heads bowed.
To his side, however, Elder Alders was not as cheerful as his fellow elder. He felt there was something quite odd.
Normally if a recruiting team were to find such a pearl they would be rewarded handsomely.
For qi condensation realm cultivators resources were scarce and to be given the chance at being handsomely rewarded, there would be nothing but joy show.
Why was it then that he felt these five were giving him the opposite feeling?
Also, this did not come under the bracket of Omega rank. A holy child though rare did not warrant that level of sect action.
Omega rank is given the highest priority by the sect. This was far from that...
" Speak what's the Omega level alert"
He then went on to drill the five who still knelt as before.
" It has to deal with the recruiting senior...."
" we found an oddity..."
Malgrey then hurriedly stated with a bit of panic in his voice.
" What you found someone else exceptional..."
Alders' eyes sparkled as he looked at the two before him.
" Well, I don't know how to say this senior but..."
A Continuously stuttering Malgrey tried to find the proper wording to his statement.
" Just say it before I lose my temper. The rage of a Lord is not something that one in a lower realm can hope to fathom, so don't test me"
Alders threaten as Malgrey Continuously stalled in providing the answers he desired.
A slight pressure was felt by the five that made it twice as hard to breathe.
Feeling that his lungs were about to collapse. Malgrey forced out as many words as he could in one sentence.
"He.....he... had four affinities three averaging the 90s and one at 100%"
Hearing his answer both elders seemed lost for words as their mouths were left aghast.
