" Oh.., it's actually one of the easiest task...

Alestar smirked as he saw the change on the faces of Taf and May.

" You do know we're not suicidal right...?"

" How can we accomplish such a task with the way we are now"

" We aren't exactly at the moment equipped for such a feat"

Hearing Alestar's first task, Taf went on to say.

" So how about we rectify this problem we face. Let's get you on your way. huh"

" In two hours time, I'll teach you both some breathing exercises and preliminary cultivation techniques."

A bit of guidance for the way ahead was given by Alestar to the pair who anxiously awaited.

After his words were spoken, both May and Taf had excited expression showcasing all over their faces.

Finally, they would take that step that they have been teased with these past few days.

" Taf are you as excited as I am..."

May went on to say as her excitement level bubbled to the brim.

" Me...pssh... I'm awesome as a mortal. I dare say I would be still unstoppable when facing cultivators"

" I would look up in the sky in annoyance at those who flew. Just like hitting a bird out the sky with a slingshot. My hammers would be the last thing they saw on their foreheads."

Taf went on bragging to May at his side, who could not help but giggle after seeing his expression as he spoke.

" All hail the mighty mortal Mouse huh. The bane of cultivators near and far"

A tease came from May as Taf continued to joke.

" Too bad they won't know the true fear of facing the mortal called Sir Mouse. Now they will have to deal with cultivator Sir Mouse...Sigh the pity"

Taf went on to say smugly to May, even though he knew he was being teased.

" You could teach classes on humbleness couldn't you, You brute."

She smirked while going on to say.

" Well those who can't, do teach after all… right "

They continued to joke as they thought what the road ahead offered.

Seeing the two conversing Alestar smiled before warping outside of the room.

" In two hours we will begin, relax for the time being"

A voice stated before trickling off, leaving the two A bit puzzled at his ability to seemingly disappear in an instant.

They then expectantly awaited while continuing to converse as before.

Soon two hours had come and gone. In an open area that skies were filled with stars and moons foreign to both Taf and May, three figures could be seen.

"These are the skies from my former home in the world of Gods. I keep it as they help me to retain a calm demeanour whenever I cultivate"

Alestar stated in a tone that had a bit of reminiscence within.

" It is quite beautiful, I never knew that It was possible for the skies to be so exquisite. "

" This is simply beyond beauty..."

May seemed in a trance while she spoke as her eyes could not be drawn away from the view.

" Yeah.., it is definitely a sight for sore eyes"

Hearing her words Taf could not help but agree, as he too was captivated by what he saw before him.

" I love the fact that you two enjoy the skies of my homeland but let's start as we planned"

The couple was then drawn back to reality by Alestar. They then both took a meditative stance ( lotus position).

" Before I know you had a slight introduction to the road of cultivation."

" You were given the theory of affinity and dantians. Now I'll do you one better and show you the correlation of the two"

Alestar started his teaching while eyeing the two eagerly awaited his advice.

" Why is it that one that has an additional affinity is often stronger than an individual that has the lesser?"

" Taf.., do you care to try and give me an answer?"

Alestar sought to make his teaching more interactive. Seeing that he was chosen, Taf decided to think for a while before delivering a reply.

After a few seconds, he decided to give it a try.

" Based off my understanding on the information gathered regarding cultivation, there are four means by which to do so."

" In terms of providing an advantage, I would think the more the merrier in this case"

" I'll try to explain it through an example".

" There are three empty buckets to be filled. Bucket A is being filled by one jug of water. Bucket B is being filled by two jugs of water. Lastly, bucket C has three jugs waiting"

"It is clear in this scenario that bucket one will be the one least filled, while at the other end of the scale, bucket C would have three times the quantity of A and twice that of B"

Taf tried providing an answer to Alestar's question.

An encouraging word was then heard by the Draconian Alestar.

May stuck out her tongue at Taf, who in return had a smug look.

" Don't worry big flower, my brilliance will rub off"

He then went on to say.

" Keep talking and see if I don't retaliate...remember these fingers of mine"

May then threaten as she saw his smug look disappearing.

" Eh em..."

" So having more than one affinity can impact your strength overall. As unlike the others with less, there is more reserve to access"

" So basically your dantian is the bucket Taf described before, while your affinity the jugs"

Alestar went on to say before calming the pair of teenagers.

" Now how do you access these jugs?"

" Before you learnt about world qi but that was just an introduction. It is split into different subdivision."

" There is elemental qi, spirit qi, devil qi and demon/ beast qi"

" One of which you already have seen since day.."

" Hmmm.., May think and tell me which have you already seen since day"

Seeing that she had been put on the spot, May tried to think for a bit before responding.

" Well before we were told we couldn't see the world qi but I'm guessing it depends on the type of Qi. "

" The only oddity I recall seeing from the day, definitely has to be the red clouds circling over the forest"

" So I'm guessing...Demon/Beast qi"

She then came up with a response after coming to some conclusive reasoning.

" Excellent deduction goes to May, Yes those clouds were due to an excess build-up of demon qi. This is necessary for all demon and beast to cultivate"

"Now to cultivate your affinity special techniques are required to harvest your affinity qi and transfer it to your dantian."

" As such today I'll give you both some minor techniques to access the different affinity qi you both have."

" How about you both finally taking that first step"
