As we return to the stage the silent lingered ostensibly like a presence itself. Though not a word was spoken it insinuated thousands as the eyes told it all.

" Mal...Malgrey!!! "

" Malgrey!!!! what do we do now?"

After a few minutes that seemed like hours, a voice could be heard shouting from across the stage

" Huh???"

Being drawn out of his bewildered state, a half reply was heard from the flabbergasted induced state Malgrey.

" I...i don't know...."

" This is far beyond my sphere of qualification to act"

" I dare say, not even our sect leader is qualified"

He fought to find his bearings while responding to the question posed by Nisha.

" Even the sect leader...?"

Lovren spoke after spitting several times as the taste of flies still lingered on his tongue.

The group all looked at the fiery-haired Malgrey as they waiting for his analogy of the situation.

Seeing this he sighed and could only go on with his train of thought out loud.

" Ok think of it this way and see if you understand"

" A thousand beast hunters are roaming through a forest in search of beasts of varying values to sell and make a profit."

" Within these thousands, there are those that have highly trained Mercenaries, weapons specialist, beast tamers, specialised hunters, a local villager and lastly a small boy"

" While searching for wild beast the boy stumbled on a gold flaming Phoenix that has just been hatched"

" The boy then finds himself in a quandary as two optioned are placed before him at that point"

" Keep the Phoenix or relieve all claim to it then notifying the others"

" If he keeps the Phoenix there is a gamble that is taken. The gamble goes both ways for the Phoenix and the boy"

" This boy has never groomed such a creature before so his inexperience might be detrimental to the welfare of the Phoenix. It might never see it true potential fulfilled due to the novice nature of its owner"

" On the other hand, it might be highly beneficial for the boy and the Phoenix. The Phoenix now has a home which it loves and adores willing protecting."

"As the Phoenix grows to spread it wings and claims its title of Lord of the sky. Similar to how the Phoenix soar, so will the clout that follows the boy."

" Now that's the gamble"

They all looked as they pondered the scenario.

" What if the boy were to take the second option and abandoning all ownership of Phoenix while informing the other thousands?"

" What then?"

The topic was broach by Cameron to the side.

" Then it becomes tricky"

Malgrey rubbed his chin while he continued with the story.

" If he then notifies the other thousands that went into the forest along with him he would be rewarded. They would all pat him on the back and give him gifts and slight status among them."

" They would then proceed to fight to the death on who should receive the Phoenix. Each having a different goal in mind for the Phoenix"

" There would be greed, curiosity, experimentation and for those that can't attain it...death"

" The now newly hatched Phoenix would find itself fighting for its freedom. If it were to grow though it might hate the thousands that had different thoughts about it"

" There is one however that it would hate to its core. Vengeance will plague its mind and as it soars the sky it seeks the boy's village in hope of turning it to ash"

" This is all due to the boy throwing it to the hungry wolves initially."

Contemplation could be seen on the faces of the members of team Malgrey as they heard the story.

" So do you all see now....?"

" Our Dark Abylis Sect is that boy. Compared to strong sects in this world we are nothing but a toddler among veterans and Herculean beings "

" And that child you see over there is the Phoenix"

" Do we dare try to touch it only to be burnt by its flames...?"

They all nodded their heads in agreement as they saw the youth across the stage embracing the petite figure that was May.

" Malgrey you forgot one other outcome"

To the side, the green haired Luke came forth with a thought.

" Really...?"

" What's that...?"

He answered as the statement was utter.

" What happens when the boy keeps the Phoenix and it is found within his possession."

" Will he not feel the wrath of the thousands who entered the forest, after his none disclosure"

They all continued to look at Taf who had just separated from May's embrace.

" These are not things for us to decide as we are nothing but ant trying to climb a mountain within the sect"

" From the moment his result was known. Our fates were intertwined in some way or the other. Whether good or bad.....

that I do not know"

.....

After there separation Taf then looked over to see the conversing team Malgrey. Though he could not hear the words they spoke, he had a slight idea what it might be about.

" Let me handle this?"

He softly said to May as they both made their way forward to the nearby cultivators.

" Ok Let's go"

She held his hand rubbing it with a finger as they walked.

" Are my result not satisfactory for The Dark Abylis Sect?"

He smirked as he looked at the team who seemingly were fighting to try and find the words.

" Everyone else got told what their roles within the sect might be except this Mouse"

" That leads this Mouse to think..."

" Am I some unwanted entity that would soil the grounds of your Dark Abylis Sect"

Seeing the way they looked previous he knew that if it was ever a time he fully needed to delve into his alter ego the Mouse. It was would definitely be now.

He was taught to be observant and calculative. Though his teachings came from one that cultivators might not see fit enough to clean their latrines. It didn't matter as now he realized the words spoken that day will see fruition.

" These skill sets will see you through times that might seem hopeless. Keep on honing them till the day you die"

" If there ever comes a day that you say that you have reached perfection. That will be the day that you have failed this old man. "

" To be a master of your craft, mortal words should not be worthy of a description"

The face of old man Ming could be seen smiling in his mind as he thought.

Those lessons seemed to burn themselves even further within his heart. To learn others, decisiveness and loyalty to those that are loyal to you"

" So what if I'm an oddity or better yet an abomination that will soon see the true face of the world."

" If others seek ill will to me or the ones I love, then I will enforce rule number three.

" Absolute annihilation"
