《The Gods' Decree》Who could resist?

A stunning scene had occurred as a gigantic white hawk could be seen in the skies of Marvel City. The citizens who saw it stared in awe at the sight that had greeted them and couldn't help but stand still.
" So it's that time again when they descend"
A middle age man could not help mutter as he looked at the hawk.
" Sigh..., it is my fourth time observing such a scene but it tends never to get old".
" How I wish I had been blessed with the gift to go forth into that world But it was not made to be "
On the east side of the city where the hawk hovered, utterances such as these could be heard by many as they stared in unison.
Soon the hawk made its way to the centre of the city. Then started it's decent as even more exclamations could be heard, the more people saw it.
As it descended five individuals could be seen on the back. There was a man with red fiery hair, a girl with a broad sword which seemed way too big for her.
A teenager with black hair that had a sabre on his back sporting a look of derision on his face.
Beside him stood a youth having green messy hair who had a look of cheer on his face that was the complete opposite of Lovren.
Lastly to follow was another who had a bow on his back who had a look of complete neutrality on his face.
.....
" It is custom that we go to the city hall where we would be greeted by the city leader in charge. The one that has been bestowed the name Marvel after his predecessor."
The red fiery haired leader addressed his team behind him as they walked.

" The sheer audacity to have us walk on our feet through these fifth streets to meet them. Is this not but joke to our kind."
Lovren could not hold it in any longer but had to belt out, as he saw the faces of the mortals looking at him in fear as he walked.
Although he did not want to admit it, he loved the feel of been looked on in awe by these peasants in his eyes.
" Your merely an 8th level qi condensation Lovren, in the eyes of the world are you not also a mortal? What right do you have to look down on others?"
Luke spoke as he greeted the awed faces of the mortals with a smile whenever he passed by.
" I could crush them to dust with my qi alone, yet you dare group me with them. Aren't you the same, Luke at the 8th also. Does that mean I can call you a mortal? "
A laugh was heard by Lovren as he looked at the messy green haired Luke.
" It would be a pleasure, in fact, I would like that a lot. What difference is there between us? In all appearances, if we don't see the peak we the 'Almighty ' cultivators would all turn to dust just like those deemed mortal"
After hearing the words of Luke, Lovren still held his contempt but there was no rebuttal that came forth.
They soon arrive at a large building within the centre of the city. It structure from a viewer from the outside could be said to be a beautiful tower in all white that rises above all others.
It was the pride of the city as it blended its old architectural design with a more modern feel that greeted you.

To the visitors, however, it was nothing special in their eyes. They have seen structures that greeted the clouds on a daily basis. How could they be drawn in by such inferior work?
In the hall, they saw an old man that was grey all over. There were eight persons to each of his sides that varied in ages.
They all bowed in unison as a form of greeting when the figures of the visitors were seen at the entrance.
" The heavens continually bless us with the presence of your Lordships. Our city welcomes your visit on this grandest of day"
A greeting was expressed by the man in the middle who was grey all over.
" It is us that should be expressing our thanks for having us within your city, City leader Marvel"
Malgrey the fiery-haired leader respond courteously but still held the bearings that one would expect of a cultivator addressing a mortal.
" Please to follow us to the dining area where we have prepared some sumptuous meal that we hope is to your like"
A door was opened by a member of the group that stood to the side of city leader Marvel.
" You didn't have to go through such trouble but it would be rude if we were not to part take."
The group was let by Malgrey who stopped for a second to give Lovren who was about to say something a warning look. After seeing his leaders eying him, he ceased and followed like the others.
A large table filled with foods of all delicious aroma greeted the noses of the cultivator as they entered. There were Mortal beast legs, chicken, pork, goat etc cooked in all manner of ways (Fried, stewed, barbequed, jerked, baked etc).
For a long, while they have not dined on such delights and the temptation became overwhelming.
when one enters the world of a cultivator, in order to move on the road, world qi is necessary. A cultivator absorbs the world qi that is all around within the air. They then refine it of its impurities and it provides sustenance to the body.
Absorbing and refining a certain amount of world qi at each stage surpassing the amount required, allows for one to break into a higher one.
These results vary based on one's talent, luck etc, as everyone would reach the peak just by the refining of qi if it were not the case.
The higher that one goes the less they tend to go to food for nourishment. Although there is an exception for foods that provide high-quality world qi such as demon beasts, special fruits etc.
Seeing the delights on the table waiting to be devoured, the members of the team dove into the food without another word.
In front leading the charge was none other than Lovren who had a chicken leg stuffed in his mouth and gravy dripping out.
" Hehe..., who would have thought that the same mortals that you criticize, would have you gorging you self and looking like a stuffed pig"
A sound transmission sent by Nisha who had kept quiet on the walk over as she looked at her greedy teammate.
Laughter could be heard from the other three members as they stared at the greedy Lovren.
" I never said they couldn't cook. Who wouldn't be tempted?"
Lovren responded while looking embarrassingly at his state.
To the side City leader, Marvel and his companions only smiled. They actually used to such things occurring at each visit of those of the Dark Abylis Sect.

The Arcane Gunslinger
A lazy celestial being's mistake leads to Sergeant William Remington, a decorated member of the Coalition Marines, to be placed into a new body. His old life aboard the Valkyrie, an interstellar destroyer has also been replaced as he finds his new body in an unknown world. Where he learns of magic, skills, the system, helhorses, and slinging lead with ancient revolvers. Initially, he is skeptical of his new norm but the desire to survive leads him to try to earn a living while he figures out what just happened to his life. He's a fighter but far from the elite, a grunt with some experience. But what better way than to fall back to what he's familiar with, weapons and going after criminals and rebels. With the added challenges of monsters. This is my first Litrpg writing. It's a wild west fantasy setting with the MC taking a role as a gun-slinging bounty hunter in a world of magic and monsters. Hope you enjoy it. UPDATES AT 3PM EST ON MONDAYS AND THURSDAYS! Warning. The story has a slow start because I'm trying to keep my MC realistic. It takes him some time to adjust to his new surroundings, start to make some friends, and really get into the swing of it. I kind of think it's dumb when an isekai's MC manages to blink twice and suddenly adapts to their new world without any sort of struggle or learning period. So not doing that but don't worry Will may be confused and a bit unfocused at first but he'll grow into his own. Also using it to practice my digital artwork... which is far from par but improving. Keep an eye on author notes for maps and depictions of monsters and characters.

A plain RPG based off a classic 'reincarnation-into-another-world' series of events. Nothing original, I assure you. ---- Shiro Hayuata was killed and is now reincarnated into another world, [insert ridiculously obvious hypothetical question here].

Our protagonist lived his life normaly, had a PhD in physics and some problemes. Nothing too out of what can be considered common. At least until he died. After his death, he comes to himself as some breathing sphere. While still himself, he forgot a good part of his memories, he kept various parts of his knowledge, but it is obvious he was impacted mentaly. Now we follow his actions and their consequences in a brand new world where he causes mayhem and panic without meaning to. Will he stabilise and be a new kind of dungeon? Or will he just continue being a mess of thoughts and doing atrocities without realising it? I have stopped writing this story, it was one for me to train, and I have much to work on. I don't plan to resume it, but if I do, then I will rewrite it from the begining.
