《The Gods' Decree》It is my modus

Boss Fang made his way in the kitchen as a big grin was plastered over his face. Two of the members of the gang made their way to the exits on either side of the kitchen.
Mr. Ming looked on but surprisingly he wasn't alarmed at the sudden intruders as they entered. Taf however, was astonished at the sudden arrival.
" Damn it, When did these bastards follow me. I swear I took detour after detour to make sure I wasn't, just in case. I was careless, this is not good. Ok, think.... think....think." He continued to berate himself while trying to keep calm.
" Runt! thought everything was wrapped neatly in a bow and fine and dandy huh. I saw clues of your intent the moment you started hollering."
"Not bad though, you even impressed me with that act of yours. I would have encouraged you to join the theatre but I don't think they will accept a dead corpse." Boss Fang grin started looking diabolic the more he Spouted.
Tafari didn't even pay him any heed as different scenarios continued to play out in his mind. " At the very least I have to ensure old man Ming is not hurt. How could I live with myself if I let him get injured because of my own stupidity?"
" Old man nice business you have here. Nice...nice indeed, I'm also a businessman. A philanthropist In some regards, so I'll take 70% of your days intakes. That sounds like a good gesture, considering the circumstances, what do you think?" He jests while using a toothpick in his teeth.
" ...Or I could take a 100% and break your old meager legs. I'm sure you would score some pity points with the guests, as you crawl on the floor to welcome them" The members of the gang laughs filled the kitchen as their boss continued.

" You know I like monologues. Do you know why I like them so much Taf? It's simple, it gives me an indication of how much pain to inflict.
Small monologues slightly less severe pain and longer ones get severe pain."
"Then there are those with threats to me or the ones I love. Now that's a no-no, and those are ranked in the category of death by excruciating pain. I call it 'Hell has no fury like my own', it is my modus." Mr. Ming final spoke.
Tafari was taken back by the words spoken by old man Ming. Suddenly all the scenarios in his head started to fade away and one final dawned on him.
Boss Fang had an ominous feeling as the words were spoken. His skin started to crawl and fear for some reason crept in his heart. He was scared shitless as he felt he had stuck his head into the willing mouth of a tiger. "Wh... who the hell is this guy?"
" First lesson Taf be aware as to your surrounding, sometimes it might be your greatest asset. Use it to your advantage to lead a devastating blow to your enemies "
As he spoke, he then swiped a knife from the counter and as if cutting through butter the nearest gang member's throat was sliced without him being able to lift a finger to defend himself.
His hands grappled for his throat as blood gushed and washed the floor red.
Utter silence filled the kitchen as shock was the only thing present.
" You...you killed" Boss Fang shuttered as his knees started to buckle. He was frozen on the spot in utter confusion of what just took place.
" Yes I did indeed, I know you feel left out but hush old Ming never forgot about you. In fact, you're old Ming's second lesson". A smile that was most sincere was plastered over old Ming's face but to Fang, it was worse than the smile of the devil himself.

" PLEASE, I HAVE SEEN MY FAULTS. PLEASE, I BEG YOU SPARE ME!"
The second lesson to those that wish you and the ones you love harm, hell should be just a vacationing spot in their thoughts.
Boss Fang sped off like a gust of wind only to see a presence lazily waiting for him. "I see you finally decided to run. How am I suppose to showcase my skills if you had just trembled in fear".
A punch was thrown but Old Ming dodged with ease. The punches then were followed by powerful kicks that mashed the nearby tables in half.
" Taf do you see what this idiot is doing wrong? He has put all the emphasis on power but has no agility whatsoever. What's the point of having all the power and not being able to hit your opponent".
Tafari was shocked at the overall turn of events, but he observed as boss Fang threw kicks and punches that only seem to affect the surrounding furniture.
" I grow tired of you. It's time for you to die and as I remember, I did promise you the most excruciating of deaths. I see it's finally ready, took long enough"
Suddenly, Mr. Ming drew for a pot that had flames under it. The pot boiled and the contents seem to be smelting hot. He then threw all the contents on boss Fang head.
" Argh Fuck.... fuck it burns, Fucking help me you bastards" Boss Fang ran but to no avail only managing to make it close to the door before collapsing dead.
" What's more painful than a pot of oil all poured all over one's head I wonder? sigh what a pitiful thing indeed "Mr. Ming shook his head as he stated out loud after watching Fang collapse.
"Now Taf the third lesson is...
absolutely no-one survives."

The Humble Life of a Skill Trainer
For Joshua Still, Skills were the lifeblood of his business. He wanted to understand them, collect many of them, and teach a few of them. Which was a problem because while his profession of a Skill Trainer was perfectly legal, it was frowned upon by most of the kingdom. After all, it wouldn't do for a non-tailor to teach Tailoring. Or, so says the Tailors Guild. The same could be said by the Blacksmiths, the Bakers, the Butchers, the Candlestick Makers, the Mages, and every other Guild with enough money and clout to complain. But still, Skill Trainers provide a valuable service, and so he has managed to start his business and keep it under the table. To a degree. With many a bribe. But his quiet anonymous life of research, practice, and training was about to change. When the Baron demands you pay him a visit, you have little choice.

Author's Note: (This is my first story, and I would be very thankful if grammatical errors were pointed out. I could also take a few suggestions in the comments if you would. This is less a planned production, and more a little project that I'm winging as it goes. I will try and be consistent with at least 2 chapters a week. Also, as I am a completely new author, the number of words per chapter may fluctuate. The minimum will be around 1000 words, while other chapters may be 2000-3000. It will hopefully only get better with time.)
