《Fire Dublin (A LitRPG Fantasi–Sci-Fi Adventure)》57. Implicit Power

Elisia didn't know what her mentor was trying to convey, but the way he pulled her hand was

painful. His grip was so strong that it made the bones of Elisia's wrists rattle. He took the girl

to the rooftop again.

Risk opened the door hard and pulled Elisia's hand to the roof floor forcibly. The girl held her

wrist in pain, it even left a red mark there. Risk's eyes were cold enough, like winter. Elisia's

body shuddered to see it, especially since she already knew the name of Risk's lover in the

past.

“Risk, do you have to be rude to me just knowing your past?!” Elisia said, annoyed.

“What have you heard from Scott?!” Risk asked back in a loud voice.

“Scott told me about Hildegard. What’s wrong?” Elisia answered harshly.

“Ah, that damn shit! He really can't keep a secret! I'll deal with that later.” Risk looked at

Elisia's face. “Since you already know, you can ask whatever in your mind.”

“I think it's a sensitive thing in your heart. I'll keep it from others,” Elisia replied, “You don't

have to worry. I can keep a secret.”

“How can I trust you?” Risk asked.

“Because I never tell other secret to anyone. Trust me, I can keep it for you,” Elisia replied,

“As long as you want to tell me how Hildegard is.”

“Tch, I expected that!” Risk pushed Elisia to the edge of the building to see the view that was

hot during the day.

Elisia saw the view of the factory buildings and the surrounding slums. Then, she turned to

Risk, whose hair was blowing in the hot wind.

“I think Scott has told me a little about Hildegard, so I'll explain briefly,” Risk said,

“Hildegard was a member of the War Phantom Division who lived in Kazdale. She was the

only member of Siraca's special forces who were not from Siraca, but she was very dedicated

to this unit. I first met her when I entered the wrong tent on the first mission. I didn't think

she was naked.”

“Eh, that’s mean…” Elisia tried to understand.

“From there, I always met and fought with her. She's the meanest girl I'd ever met. Our

quarrel once thwarted a mission until I received a stern rebuke from the commander. From

there, I decided with Hildegard to cooperate in this operation and we could separate after

that.”

“I think I've found your familiarity. I can imagine that you two are a perfect couple, just like

my parents,” Elisia commented.

“You are right. She seemed to be a very kind girl. She always shared her food with me, even

though I never asked for it and wouldn't even eat until I got back. I also showed my feelings

for her, so that we understood each other.” Risk smiled while looking at [Piece of Resistance

level 10].

Elisia smiled, too. “I am sorry for her death. It must be deeply imprinted on your heart.”

“That's why I always take care of this thing.” Risk threw [Piece of Resistance level 10] over

the hand. “I will never forget her smile when she gave me this. If you notice, there's still

blood from Hildegard drying on this thing. I kept it so that no nosy wizard would resurrect

her.”

A hot wind suddenly blew around Elisia, like a hug from someone. Elisia looked at the [Piece

of Resistance level 10] that Risk was holding at her side, like a hand was holding it. Elisia

saw a figure like Hildegard; red hair forked, purple eyes, and a black dress. Elisia smiled and

felt joy at the figure.

“Risk, I think we should get ready for the operation tonight. I want you to prepare

beforehand, like talking to Scott, maybe,” Elisia said.

“Oh, you're right! I'll go in first. Come back after you enjoy the view!” Risk ran to the door.

With Risk gone, Elisia could see Hildegard's figure, even though she didn't know what she

looked like. Risk's heart had answered everything.

“Thank you for accompanying Risk. I've seen it all. I can entrust Risk to you, Princess

Elisia,” the figure said in a soft tone.

“Risk is my friend now. I will take care of him with all my heart and never let him be lonely

again. Rest in peace!” Elisia replied with her right arm folded in front of chest.

The figure smiled. “You are a good princess, I say that honestly. Anyway, take good care of

him, with your life if necessary. I have to go!” the figure disappeared.

After the figure left, Elisia became astonished. She could not see invisible spirit. Her [Sixth

Sense] could also only see other people's abilities and stats, and could see movement. Could

there be a hidden ability in her?

Elisia checked it by opening [Hex Aegis]. In the discussion that followed, Elisia learned

about implied abilities; an ability that wasn't recorded in the stats, but this ability could

activate by itself as needed. Elisia didn't understand why she could see spirits, but she once

remembered something about this.

She threw away the thought of this implied ability. Elisia's heart was relieved at having made

Hildegard rest in peace in the spirit realm. If she could chat longer with Risk's crush, maybe

she could ask a lot of questions about her mentor.

“Miss Hildegard, I promise to take care of Risk with my soul. I will always keep him happy

and never leave him alone again,” Elisia whispered.

The hot wind blew around Elisia again, like someone was hugging her again. Elisia could still

feel Hildegard, who hadn't actually left there. However, she already knew that Hildegard was

happy.

Elisia walked to the door to prepare for the operation at night. This would be the royal

maiden's second night operation, but far more dangerous. It already greeted her with

equipment strewn across the round table. Kafka and Risk seemed to repair a small object.

“Risk, am I going to wear a gear again?” Elisia asked as she approached them.

“Ilya said that you'd be given a camouflage kit and a small radio,” Kafka replied, “I'm

repairing yours.”

“You won't be using heavy armor like the previous missions. We will use the Blitzkrieg tactic

this time,” Risk continued.

“Blitzkrieg? Fast moving, you mean?” Elisia confirmed.

“Exactly. We will minimize the fight and increase our speed. I'm sure you can do it,” Risk

answered again.

Elisia looked at the electronics lying on the table. She saw them as [Camouflage Device] and

[Mini Communicate Radio]. A ridiculous thought flashed through her head, making her

tickled. They searched for [The Camouflage Net] with [Camouflage Device]?

After repairing Elisia's equipment, Kafka gave it to the girl. “You can try it, My Liege. If it

doesn't fit, you can replace it.”

Elisia attached the [Camouflage Device] to her waist and pressed the red button on it. She felt

nothing on her body, but the expressions on Kafka and Risk who saw her showed a

difference.

“Do I look weird? Don't make fun of me!” Elisia said, annoyed.

“We didn't even see you. I think the equipment works well,” Risk replied with a smile.

“You're right, but the gear is active for fifteen minutes. After that, you will return to normal.

You can activate it again after ten minutes,” Kafka explained, “that's what Ilya told me.”

“Okay,” Elisia replied. It was like using her skills.

After looking through the equipment, Elisia went to the vestibule to learn about the 'Implicit

Abilities' she used to see Hildegard earlier. Seeing spirits wasn't really an ability she needed

because she wouldn't need help from spirits. In addition, she would also have trouble sleeping

if there was a creature in her room.

Elisia checked the stats to make sure nothing had changed in her skills.

So far, her abilities hadn't changed a bit. Elisia had to keep checking her stats to expect

implied abilities, as these abilities could change everything.

It reminded again Elisia of the new skill that would unlock at level 25. She couldn't wait to

taste the long-range, fire-based ability. Elisia described how this skill, from fireball to fire

cannon. This girl also wondered if it could link this skill to [Fire Dublin Spear] or

[Greatsword of Sully].

“I have to complete some missions in order to level up again,” Elisia muttered.

Elisia looked at the clock on the wall near the round table, it was just 12 noon. Waiting for

the mission to be carried out at night made her bored. If only Province and Upgrade took part

in this operation, plus Dao with his robotic behavior.

Her stomach felt hungry and her eyes got heavy. Afternoon was rest time. However, Elisia

had to eat something so her body could rest. She saw her friends; no one cares to fill their

bellies. In fact, Elisia had eaten a plate of [Coconut Pancake] this morning.

While waiting for her friends to finish with their respective business, Elisia laid down on the

sofa and opened [Telum Experto] again. She wanted to find out more about Risk's [Piece of

Resistance]. As before, the book seemed to have read the mind of its owner.

“[Piece of Resistance] is an artifact, as a small piece of wood with spells engraved on its

body. This artifact comes from Siberia and it is a small fragment of a wooden monument

called 'Resistance'. [Piece of Resistance] provides resistance effect from physical and magical

attacks by 50 percent,” Elisia said while reading the book.

In the description in the book, Elisia found something that might explain the reason for active

ability of the implied. Her green eyes could not take her attention to the writings in the book.

An answer appeared.

“That means… Hildegard's blood on Risk's [Piece of Resistance] that allowed me to see her

spirit?” Elisia muttered, “This is strange, even though I only saw it.”

Elisia opened [Hex Aegis] again, and it turned out that her guess was right. She closed all the

books and put them back in the [Flame Pendulum]. The girl took out [Christ's Hairpin] and

hugged it while lying down.

“Christ, I'm scared! Now I can see spirits. What should I do?” She whispered into the hairpin.

Drowsiness suddenly struck. Elisia was reluctant to sleep because she worried about seeing

ghosts in dreams because of her implied ability. We could say Elisia had an unpleasant

experience with astral beings since she was a chill. However, because the eyes were getting

heavy, Elisia closed them and hugged [Christ's Hairpin].

Suddenly, Elisia remembered the item she found in the king pawn while playing chess with

Scott. She took out a [Ruby of Holy Knights] from the inventory. Elisia felt that this thing

might have caused her implied ability to activate. However, there was no energy from the

jewels. It was just ordinary jewelry.

“Maybe it's just my feeling,” Elisia said, “However, I wonder why my dad put the jewels in

the chess pieces. Plus, there are a few words in Eurawi that dad seems to want to convey.”

Elisia didn’t sleep and filled with excessive thoughts about the mystery that surrounded her.

Elisia continued to be haunted by something from the past, even though she had tried to avoid

it, as if her past was still chasing her.

Elisia sat limply. Sleeping for a while made Elisia dizzy. Heavy thoughts continued to haunt

her head, making Elisia keep thinking. Eventually, she must return to Gwelissa and solved all

the mysteries of her past.

“I think this ruby is the key to my past,” Elisia said while looking at the [Ruby of Holy

Knights], “Is this just a piece of jewelry?”

Elisia raised it head-high towards the lamp. The light pierced through the stone, blinding her

eyes. Nothing could be found of the high-value object, but Elisia believed that it must be a

sacred object. Otherwise, her father couldn't possibly keep it in the king's pawn.

She didn’t want to think hard anymore, so Elisia put back the jewelry and stroked her long

blonde hair. She couldn't remember what kind of shampoo she used, but her hair had smelled

nice for the past few days. Her hair even remained smooth. Combing it a little mite made it

more interesting.

Elisia went to Ilya to ask for a hair comb. Just as she approached the woman, Elisia could see

Ilya's languid expression, who continued to stare at the computer screen. The girl

sympathized.

“Ilya, do you continue to work on the computer? Have you rested your eyes yet?” Elisia

asked.

Ilya turned. “I'm used to this job. My face is tired? That is my real face.”

“But you hardly see the surrounding circumstances. I didn't even see you having breakfast.”

Elisia pulled Ilya's right hand away from the computer. “You should rest! This is the princess'

order!”

Ilya surprised and smiled. She complied with Elisia's order. The girl took her to the front

room to sit down. Scott, who had just come out of the toilet, caught them with an astonished

face.

“Ilya, have you completed the sabotage–” Elisia touched Scott's mouth.

“Ilya must rest, in my orders. Don't bother her!” Elisia pulled Ilya's hand onto the sofa.

“I-I will finish it later!” Ilya cried while walking.

After Elisia asked Ilya to sit down, Elisia gently massaged Ilya's right hand. Her fingers

pressed against every point in the woman's muscle. Ilya surprised because Elisia was acting

like a servant for her.

“Elisia, you are a princess. Did your parents teach you about equality?” Ilya asked.

“What are you saying?” Elisia paid little attention as she continued to massage Ilya's hands.

“I mean, normally a princess would be arrogant and think of a commoner like me, very poor

in front of you. Never mind massaging me, just touching me. You shouldn't want to,” Ilya

explained.

“I don't understand what do you mean, but helping others is one thing I've learned. I once

invited the royal servants to have tea together, and I thought that was a good thing,” Elisia

replied, “Besides, you have worked hard to help us carry out this operation mission in Runga.

If you like, I want you to teach me how to use a computer.”

Ilya smiled. “I already guessed that. I can admit, you are a strange princess. You even let

Risk and his friends take you away from the kingdom. Maybe that's the reason your own

kingdom made you a fugitive.”

“My parents had died since I left the kingdom. Actually, it was my parents who moved me

very far from the palace, because there was an attack going on there. When I wake up, I

remember nothing. Luckily, I met Risk.”

“Oh, I'm sorry for asking that!” Ilya responded.

“Risk protected me and kept me until now. We made a long journey to return to where we

came from, and reclaim my kingdom,” Elisia continued.

“That's a story I've never heard of, and you must have gone through many obstacles to reach

Runga,” Ilya commented, “including being a fugitive like I said.”

“What is the content of the contest so that it can attract so many people?” Elisia asked

curiously.

“The Kingdom of Gwelissa will reward a chest of knight gold coins for whoever can bring

Elisia Von Naumann home safely. Everyone is very interested in the competition, especially

if you know how much a knight's coin is worth,” Ilya answered, chuckling slightly.

“That must be a very high price! However, does the contest say who the king gave it to?”

Elisia remembered that the kingdom of Gwelissa would always put a special mark on royal

announcements.

“Not in my memory, but you can check the storage room if you look for the sheet.”

Elisia immediately ran back to the storage room, leaving Ilya alone sitting in the front room.

Ilya ignored the girl and folded her arms behind her head. Relaxing like this was eagerly

awaited by the woman in her twenties.

“I don't think she forgot to ask me to work again. A princess' orders are absolute enough,”

Ilya whispered.

Elisia had arrived at the closed storage room. She opened the unlocked door and saw a neat

pile of cardboard boxes. Elisia started by tying her hair in a ponytail and looking through the

drawers in the closet. She pulled them one by one until all the drawers were open. After that,

she checked some chest.

“Where's the banner? I must find it,” Elisia muttered.

No object such as a banner was found. Elisia had to look through the stacks of neatly

arranged cardboard boxes. Elisia sighed and pulled out a cardboard that was within easy

reach. Apparently, she found what she was looking for.

Elisia spread the banner, and it was right, as Ilya said. The gift that was given really caught

everyone's attention, including Elisia. Elisia was looking for something that became the

hallmark of the current king who ruled Gwelissa. There was a symbol in the shape of a shield

and two crossed swords.

“As far as I remember, there is not any royal agency in Gwelissa that uses this symbol. Could

it be if… ” Elisia thought of something.

When Elisia checked the box again, there were some strange attributes with the same symbol

as the one shown by Upgrade. The girl guessed how a piece of equipment from the enemy

was here. Her eyes widened slightly.

“This is the logo of the Ursa Empire, as Upgrade said. How?” Elisia muttered, “I was

reminded of the dark room earlier. There's this logo there.”

Elisia tried to understand her findings with the residents in this place. If Elisia guessed, there

was someone who had dealt with Ursa's agents, or one of them was an agent. It would be

difficult for her to find them because almost everyone didn't look suspicious.

Lifting a napkin, Elisia found a photo frame containing a group of smiling people standing in

line. Elisia wide-eyed. She immediately packed up the things and exited the storage room.

The girl ran to the round table.

Arriving there, everyone greeted Elisia. The food served on the table, still warm. Elisia

walked quickly to Risk, who was opening his food.

Risk turned to Elisia. “My Liege, I will prepare your meal. Sit down with the others!”

Elisia nodded with a tense face, then walked over to the sofa. She sat up quickly, in a state of

trembling. She still remembered the people in the photo frame and the symbols that form the

background of the photo.

Ilya looked at the trembling Elisia. She patted the girl's shoulder.

“Hey, are you okay?!”

“I-I'm okay"
