“You're right, but you have to settle your problem in Runga first. Hope you get used to the technology you've never seen before,” Elena replied with a smile.

“I'll get used to it. You don't have to pray for me.” Elisia tied her hair into a ponytail so she could practice better.

Elena stunned to see her little sister's new appearance. Elisia was also wearing [Christ Hairpin] like before. Although its size was rather large, it didn’t interfere with her activities. Elisia realized that her sister was watching.

“What's wrong, Sis?” Elisia asked.

Elena shook her head. “Ah, no! I only remember my childhood when I see your appearance. You can tell that I was very feminine when I was little.”

“The past is gone, Sister! Face the future!” Elisia clenched her fists.

Elena smiled. “You're so excited today. Do you want to go on a date?”

Elisia blushed. “N-no…, I just want to train with my friends. See you again!” Elisia ran out of the room.

“Hey, wait a minute!” Elena touched her hand to the mirror. “My little sister! There's something I want to say, though. Maybe I'll tell you later.”

...

Elisia ran to the roof floor to approach Risk. She didn't want to keep her mentor waiting too long. When she got there, no one was there. The birds dispersed after Elisia stopped running. She looked here and there, Risk invisible in her eyes.

“Oh, it's only 9:30 in the morning. I got it too early,” Elisia whispered, “Maybe I can practice my own skills.”

Before starting, Elisia checked the stats.

Elisia took out a [Fire Dublin Spear] and mounted a stance with a spear behind her back. She retracted her right leg and her head was facing forward. Elisia did the basic spear movement, which was to stab straight. Then her spear swung in all directions. Now and then, sparks were created when the legendary spear rubbed against the floor.

After that, Elisia stayed with her feet together and the spear behind her head. A stream of fire created from it. The girl could feel the heat generated from the [Flame Pendulum]. Her eyes closed. Suddenly, both legs bent and leapt with the spear, ready to slam. A wave of fire released.

With the spear still burning, Elisia continued practicing the spear arts movement by rotating her spear like a circle of fire. Elisia surprised because she had never moved her spear like that before. She read the moves a few days ago, but her moves were like a legend in training.

“Could this be… Grandpa Naumann's power?” Elisia muttered, “I can feel the strains of the feet, the dance of the hands, the gentle swing of the spear, and the heat of the coals…”

With all her might, Elisia continued to follow the movements of her body, dancing in the circle of fire. Memories of the past came back, in the part when she was dancing with her father. Her grip on the spear was like the grip of her hand when Elisia nearly fell from dancing. Every movement flowed through her body.

“I can feel it!” Elisia said, “I can feel it more than this! This is... The Power of Naumann!”

Elisia stopped with a slightly bent body, like someone who had finished her performance. Sweat dripped from her forehead and her breath continued to pump air. Her abilities had improved. Elisia also understood how Grandpa Naumann fought, though her curiosity was dormant to find out.

Elisia looked at her hands. The light of fire emanated from it. She felt the new skills that would be unlocked. After the light of the fire dimmed, Elisia clenched her fists. A wave of fire exploded around her. A message appeared before Elisia.

“New Achievement Unlocked: Advanced Training!”

“Reward: raise your level to 22”

.

“Congratulations, your level up to 22”

“Bonus: ATK +5, DEF +8, RES +0,1%, Max HP limit +32, Stamina limit +20, Skill Point limit +12”

“Max HP, Stamina, and Skill Point restores!”

.

Elisia felt a great power welling up in her body. The level increase she got summed up her achievements in unlocking new skills. Plus, she had felt the power of the new skill.

“Good. With this, my abilities will be better and able to defeat Jayston,” Elisia muttered.

The sound of applause startled Elisia. The girl turned to the door. Her mentor had stood with his back to the door. Elisia stared at him blankly as walked over to him.

“I don't think I need to test your skills. You're better than before,” Risk said.

“Of course I need! I just practicing my spear art moves earlier,” Elisia argued.

“Alright, according to the agreement.” Risk pulled the sword out of its scabbard.

Elisia smiled with gritted teeth and eyes fixed on her mentor. She wouldn't be seriously injured this time, because it was a chance to test [Overheat Substitution]. Elisia wanted to see how strong this skill was against Risk's attacks.

“Looking at the progress you've made so far, I don't think we're going to play smooth anymore. Time to get more serious!” Risk exclaimed with black smoke coming out of his sword.

A message appeared before Elisia.

“Caution!”

“Boss Battle Simulation activates!”

“Simulation Boss detected: Risk Level 42”

“Prepare your spear!”

.

Risk spread black smoke around the roof. Elisia felt an uncomfortable air. Risk raised his left sword to chest level, right in front of his face. A strange gray glow emanated from the sword and Risk's body emitted gray smoke. Elisia gulped, but she couldn't run.

The gray smoke on Risk's body thickened. The man seemed to separate something from his body. A body made of gray smoke burst out of her mentor's body. Elisia was familiar with the body. The figure of smoke looked at Elisia with its bloodshot eyes. The shape of the body appeared, and it turned out to be true.

“Sulliviahn?”

The shadowy figure of smoke smiled at Elisia. “Hey, Princess Elisia! Nice to see you again!”

Risk smiled with his mouth peeping teeth. “Let's begin!”

Sulliviahn looked back with a surprised face. “Oi, are you sure want to fight against her? Aren't you supposed to protect her?”

“This is practice, but since her abilities are stronger, I have to test them more seriously,” Risk replied, “You better focus on this simulation too!”

“I followed your movements. Take it easy!”

Elisia was afraid to see the abilities of her mentor. [Art of Sulliviahn], the name of the skill, once made Elisia tremble even just seeing it using [Sixth Sense]. Now, the princess had to face it. With a spirit that continued to grow, Elisia inhaled a breath.

“Alright, let's get started!” Elisia cried, along with the fire erupting from her body.

Risk suddenly dashed towards Elisia at lightning speed, followed by Sulliviahn. The sword swing played by the former special forces member nicely. Elisia dodged every attack by jumping and shifting her body. Elisia read Risk's movement, which interrupted by Sulliviahn.

With the attacks aimed at her, Elisia overwhelmed at handling this simulation. She felt like she was fighting two people of same ability. The girl had never fought like this before, but she had to go through this simulation.

Risk and Sulliviahn jumped back to carry out their next attack. With a squatting position and staring at Elisia like a wolf, Risk immediately moved his legs quickly. They swung their swords from overhead at Elisia. A small explosion occurred and the smoke of the explosion covered them.

As the smoke cleared, Risk felt that something was holding his sword. A long black stick was visible in the smoke, followed by the tip of a spear emitting flames. He could also feel the heat. Risk glared at her. Elisia held Risk's sword with her spear.

Elisia pushed her spear to throw Risk. However, Risk had jumped away from Elisia first. They looked at each other from a distance. The wind blew the arena clear of smoke. The man could see his disciple's body covered in a layer of fire. Elisia's aura became even more gripping.

Sulliviahn trembled and stepped back slowly. “Risk, I'm not sure we can beat her. You see it too, right?”

Risk nodded with sweat dripping down his forehead. “I often see her strong aura. But, we have to finish the game.”

Risk ran again towards Elisia with varying sword swings. He played the sword by swinging from below, up, and sideways. Sulliviahn followed Risk's moves well. Elisia had discovered Risk's movement pattern using [Sixth Sense]. This skill could use to read the opponent's movements, as written in [Hex Aegis].

When Risk and Sulliviahn made a fatal attack, Elisia avoided it by jumping to the left and slashing at Risk's body. However, not a drop of blood came out of the target's right arm. Risk swung the sword at Elisia with full power. The girl resisted the attack that sparked the flames and pushed several inches away.

Elisia put on a stance after stopping like before. She closed her eyes and strained her hearing. Every movement around her being caught, including Risk and Sulliviahn's position. Elisia ran towards Risk after opening her eyes and the good direction of the wind.

Elisia swung the spear like she was doing spear art. Risk and Sulliviahn could block each attack, but they felt overwhelmed after Elisia quickened her movement. Elisia felt the same atmosphere when fighting Risk with spear arts training. A great power flowed through her.

To complete her action, Elisia activated [Duetto]. The skill hit Risk and Sulliviahn at the same time. She inflicted a wound on Risk's chest and almost killed Sulliviahn. In fact, Elisia didn't let them jump far. In the end, Sulliviahn lost.

Sulliviahn's body disintegrated slowly with smoke leaking from it. Before disappearing, Sulliviahn had time to show his smile to Elisia, who defeated him.

“We will meet again. Don’t worry about me!” After saying that, Sulliviahn disappeared.

The fight wasn't over yet, because Risk was still standing there wielding both swords. Sulliviahn's disappearance didn’t stop this duel between mentor and disciple. Elisia continued to show tenacity and toughness to Risk until the point that her body weakened. Risk got Elisia's tired eyes.

Risk jumped away from Elisia. His eyes caught Elisia's bent body with suffocation. The man wanted to stop the simulation, but the aura of her disciple emitted forced him to continue fighting. Even though he still had a lot of energy, Risk didn't want to take a big risk. They were fighting in another city.

“Elisia, I'm sorry,” Risk whispered as moved quickly to Elisia.

Risk would launch the final attack to finish the game. Elisia didn't move an inch even though her mentor was moving towards her with a dark ability on her. Elisia guessed that this attack would do a lot of critical damage. She wanted to test how strong [Overheat Substitution] was at resisting critical damage.

They were almost close. Risk dragged his right sword on the ground with full force. A dark blue aura radiated over him. Elisia held a spear in front of her body as a shield. Risk drew his sword from the ground and a lightning movement ensued. Risk's sword was pointed forward, but he felt a wound in his stomach.

They fell into silence after the fight. Their eyes widened. Suddenly, Elisia's body fell to the ground of the roof, that was filled with sand dust. Before dying, Elisia got a message.

“Congratulations, you completed Boss Battle Simulation!”

“Reward: Player EXP +500, Skill EXP +350”

.

Risk turned around with wounds that kept bleeding. His body weakened to the point of not being able to stand up. The man's body collapsed slowly onto the roof ground. His eyes could see Elisia's body.

“I’m sorry. I had to do that.”

...

Elisia's eyes opened again. Her hands touched the floor where she was prone; full of dust and sand. Elisia lifted her body slowly and tried to see where she was. Seeing her whereabouts, Elisia was sure that she was still on Scott's rooftop. However, the sky revealed a different color from the usual morning sky in Runga.

Elisia turned to where Risk was lying, There wasn't anybody. Elisia's face had a confused expression, but the purple color that graced the sky felt familiar to her eyes. In fact, the entrance to the house had also disappeared. She also checked the conditions on the street through the edge of the building. No noisy activity like before.

“This is weird. Could I be dreaming again?” Elisia muttered and pinched the back of her left hand, quite painful.

It wasn't a dream, but it was still strange for her because Elisia could still feel the cold breeze from the city. Elisia felt that she was in a different dimension from the original world. Her expression changed to panic, worried that she would not can return to reality. She also remembered that she defeated Sulliviahn earlier. Could this be him?

Suddenly, the color of the sky turned golden yellow. All the buildings, except for Scott's house, disappeared, and were replaced by hills. Elisia was getting more and more confused by what happened to her. A light descended from the sky and landed in front of Elisia. Then, it formed a human figure.

“Sulliviahn, is that you?” The name flashed through Elisia's head.

The figure gave a smile from behind the dazzling golden light. His hand reached out and grasped Elisia's right hand. His touch was warm and soft, and her memory kept turning toward the scene she had experienced. Yes, a hand once touched her when she was a child.

“Good to see you again, Naumann of Dublin! You have grown up to be a strong teenage girl,” the figure said in a voice that echoed throughout the place.

“Naumann of Dublin?” Elisia remembered her conversation with Elena. “Are you… Grandpa Naumann?”

The nod of the figure's head answered her curiosity. “You used my abilities well. That's why I came to you.”

“What happened to me? Where am I?” Elisia asked all the confusing things.

“You don't have to worry. You are in another dimension of your real world. They can't see you and vice versa,” the figure called Grandpa Naumann answered, “The Dublin ability you used summoned me from the spirit world. I also feel the uneasiness in your heart with all the mysteries of the past.”

“That means you will answer all my questions?” Elisia straightened the statement.

“You are right.” Grandpa Naumann held Elisia's left shoulder. “You must wonder why everyone calls you Dublin.”

“Yes. I don't know what it is, and what effect it has on my life. However, I feel that there is a change in my life, like I am more courageous in facing problems.”

“Life changes you like that. A Dublin must be strong in facing every problem of life on your journey. With the Dublin title pinned to you, it endowed you with extraordinary abilities,” Grandpa Naumann explained.

“Really? What kind of ability?” Elisia asked excitedly.

“You're so excited, just like when you were five years old.” Grandpa Naumann sat cross-legged in front of Elisia. “A Dublin’s primary ability is Drake fire. You can use it in various forms. The Dublin Spear that you have holds the power of fire that can scorch a nation.”

Elisia mesmerized with a sparkling face. The girl was lucky to meet the legend in her family.

“Wow, what an amazing ability!” Elisia praised, “Can I use that ability?”

Grandpa Naumann smiled and stroked Elisia's head gently. “A Dublin can use that ability, anyone. However, you must remember. Great power brings big trouble. Ready with all the consequences in your every action. You can make other people happy or hate you.”

“Then,” Elisia bowed before Grandpa Naumann. “Will you guide me to be a true Dublin?”

“Before that, were you sure that you were Dublin?” Grandpa Naumann asked.

Elisia shocked and thought. “My mom used to say I was a Dublin. That's why they treated me well in the palace.”

“Do you think you're a Dublin?” Grandpa changed the question.

Elisia silent with her head lowered. Dublin was a heavy word for her. She didn't even know what a real Dublin looked like.

“I don’t know. Many people think I'm a Dublin. They trust me and depend on me. After all, I'm just an ordinary girl stuck in the past, hoping to return to Gwelissa for reclaim power from an evil tyranny. I just want…” Tears spilled from Elisia's eyes. “…be a protector for my friends.”

Grandpa Naumann smiled sadly. Both of his hands held Elisia's arms. Their eyes met each other. Sobs kept coming out of her mouth and eyes. Elisia couldn't hold this emotional state from her heart.

“You need to know, Daughter of Naumann V, everything you do and hope for is very noble. In fact, you can knock on the heart of King Naumann I, who has lived for a long rest. You have proved something astonishing.”

“What's that? Am I a Dublin?”

“You have answered well all.”
