They took Elisia and friends to a fairly large room in the shabby building. The inside was not too shabby and could even called livable. Zach pointed to one side of the building filled with equipments. Risk walked over to that and put down his bag.

After they placed all the equipments, Captain Hans led them to the top floor. Elisia suspected this place, considering she didn't know who Captain Hans was and the two people Risk considered friends. The girl looked at Upgrade's face, which didn't show any expression.

Arriving to upstairs, a much tidier room greeted them than downstairs. The lighting is an outboard lamp that is connected to the mains electricity, a table that spruced, and some old furniture that looked good. They served the food on the table.

“Eat as much as your stomach can hold! We provide this especially for you,” Captain Hans said.

Elisia sat with her friends, followed. All the food served looked delicious, with steam still escaping from it. The girl still couldn't believe them, but she saw Rhino, who immediately ate the food. Elisia's stomach rumbled, and she chopped a small piece of [Smoked Beef] that was in front of her.

“Hmmm..., Really crunchy and delicious!” Elisia praised in her heart.

Elisia devoured the meat without hesitation. Captain Hans and his companions also joined this banquet. The girl saw some stats from Zach and Violet, because she amazed by their abilities in the battle earlier.

After seeing their abilities, Elisia's desire to train with them increased. She was eager to know more about these two Risk partners, especially Zach. The girl felt attracted to a man who had not spoken since the first time they met. Suddenly Elisia shook her head to come to her senses. Christ was still on her mind.

“Captain, I feel grateful that you survived the incident a few years ago with Zach and Violet. I think almost all of our colleagues did not survive that time,” Risk said, opening the conversation.

“As you remember, they killed some of them before the explosion incident. I don't understand why the military would do that to us.” Captain Hans glanced at Elisia. “Oh, I'm sorry! I shouldn't have told this in front of you.”

“Eh, it's okay! I'm just listening.” Elisia replied, somewhat surprised.

“I think we can talk about that later after lunch.” Risk looked at Violet. “Violet, I didn't expect to see you change your hairstyle like that.

Violet glanced up. “Ah, I just wanted to look different. Living here must can decorate yourself.”

Risk smiled. “Zach, I haven't heard you say anything in our entire meeting.”

Zach glanced up and shook his head.

“Actually, there's something wrong with Zach. Since then, something has grown on his neck, making it difficult for him to speak. That's why he didn't talk. After all, Zach doesn't have a problem with anything, this situation doesn't change Zach's personality,” Violet explained.

“Infection? Are there small rocks growing on the skin?” Elisia asked.

“Yeah, I also saw a small stone in his throat. Wait, how did you know?” Violet stunned.

“Because Risk and I also experienced it.” Elisia opened her [Wool Jacket] and showed a Kryptadine stone growing on her right arm.

Violet surprised. “Ooh, what a pity! Have you treated the infection?”

“Yes, Upgrade did it. He knows a lot about this infection. Maybe he can help Zach with his infection,” Elisia replied.

Upgrade slightly choked until he gulped down a glass of water. The man's eyes glanced sharply at Elisia. Zach nodded with a faint smile on his face. The thin man was pleased to hear that someone could cure his illness.

“I didn't really cure it, because this infection has no cure. However, I can stop it from spreading in the host's body. I'll try it,” Upgrade respond.

Suddenly, Zach ran over to Upgrade and put his arm around the man's neck. Upgrade had time to fight until Zach let go of the hug. He returned to his chair.

“Wow, you must be happy to hear that. But, next time, don't hug random people!" Violet said.

Zach nodded.

After eating lunch, Violet took Elisia to a room on the 3rd floor. The room was quite neat and minimalistic. There were no decorations and only have two mattresses. If Elisia guessed, this must be Violet's room too.

“This is the room for you. A little messy, but I'll take care of it later. This is also my room, but since I'm not used to sleeping on a bed, maybe you'll get a lot of privacy.” Violet said.

“Okay, thank you.” Elisia went over to the bed to try it. It turned out to be quite comfortable. The girl immediately lay down freely while straightening her tired back and legs.

“You seem to like this room. For now, this room is yours. Captain Hans also asked me to accompany you at certain times, but I don’t think you need that.” Violet walked out of the room.

“Wait, Violet!” Elisia stopped her. “Where's the toilet?”

“Toilet? If you want something cleaner, those rooms are on the 1st and 2nd floors. We haven't had time to fix the toilets on this 3rd floor, so get used to it.”

Elisia nodded with a smile. “Thank you, Violet!”

Violet left Elisia alone in the room. Just stepped in, Risk was standing in front of her. The woman surprised and smiled slightly.

“Looks like someone wants to visit his daughter to check on her,” Violet said sarcastically.

“Never mind, there's something I want to ask with Elisia.” Risk replied with annoyance.

“Okay. If you want to use the rooftop, just open the door!” Violet left.

After the woman descended the stairs to the lower floor, Risk approached Elisia, who was lying down and enjoying the bed. The man was happy that everything went according to his plan. He sat beside the bed to ask something.

“Elisia, you look happy. Was Violet being nice to you?”

Elisia got up from the bed. “Yeah, I'm thrilled. Your friends are good people. In fact, Violet gave this room to me.”

“I’m glad you're happy. I'm also happy to bring you to this region, even though this area is not so safe for you. Luckily, my friends live in this area.”

“But who are your friends? Why are they in uniform like you? Are you an agent?” Elisia was curious.

Risk smiled. “Where did you learn the word agent?”

“Upgrade explained it to me. I think almost everyone suspicious is an agent, including Captain Hans. If you wish, would you like to tell me who they are?”

“You have a great curiosity too, don't you? I can tell you a little." Risk chuckled, seeing his disciple very curious.

Elisia immediately sat beside Risk like a child who wanted to listen to a fairy tale. Risk smiled and encouraged her to tell the story.

“I won't go into detail, but I'll outline it. The reason I could be in Nusantara, like our first meeting, was an incident of a ship exploding. I almost died from it, but luckily I drifted ashore. Captain Hans and the others might have escaped before the explosion.”

“Then how can you be sure that your friends are?”

“Accidentally, Dao gave me a letter that came from this region. Apparently it was a letter written by Captain Hans who knew I was in Grasswood. He also wrote in the letter to meet him in Tanggon. From here, I invite you to Tanggon.”

Elisia nodded. “Actually, who are you? How did your ship explode?”

“The ship incident is our secret, but you can say that we are the Siraca special forces who sent to make a voyage to Nusantara,” Risk explained.

“Special force? Are they the same as agents?”

“You can say that. I think this explanation will suffice here. I don't want to burden your young mind. There's still a lot you can do.” Risk got out of bed.

Elisia looked down. Risk's story caused Elisia to have blurry visions that seem to be related to her past. She stood in the middle of the line of royal troops who were about to carry out missions outside the territory. She was standing with a woman who had appeared in her memories before and wearing ordinary clothes.

The girl threw away the strange vision she had, then looked at Risk, who had left. She chased him out of the room, Risk was walking downstairs. Hearing Elisia rushing made Risk stop.

“Is there any problem?”

“N-no. I just wanted to ask... will you be able to accompany me to practice again later? I feel like the battle just now awakened my other abilities,” Elisia asked.

Risk lowered. “Maybe. If I can't, you can ask Rhino or Dao to accompany you.” The man continued on.

Elisia returned to the room, feeling relieved. She already knew enough who Captain Hans and the rest of his comrades were. She could lie down again in peace. In comfort, Elisia remembered the level increase she got earlier, plus the opening of a new skill. She immediately checked the stats.

A skill that made Elisia very surprised. She immediately checked it on [Hex Aegis]. The book directed her to a page that discusses this skill. According to [Hex Aegis], this skill could convert the heat emitted from [Fire Pendulum] into a defense for the user. With this ability, Elisia would be difficult to hurt and even able to reflect attacks.

“This ability is definitely suitable for dealing with enemy raids or fighting bosses,” Elisia muttered.

The book also explained that this ability had a limit, where if the number of enemies was over ten people, all additional stats would drop by half. Elisia had to think of a strategy to use that skill, an ability that would activate automatically because it was passive.

“Maybe if I take Risk, Rhino, and Dao to practice, I can think of an easier way to use this skill.” Elisia thought.

Elisia closed the book and walked to the bedroom window. She couldn't open it because it locked tightly. The girl could only see through the frosted window glass as if it had never been cleaning. The view of the Tanin region could be seen less clearly from the room. Buildings that looked like houses in Grasswood, people playing on rooftops to dry areas.

Elisia couldn't see the state of the main road because the building was quite far from the road. But, she could hear engines coming from the shops on the main road. This bored Elisia. She walked out of the room and down the stairs to the first floor.

Just arriving halfway up the stairs to the 1st floor, Elisia heard a conversation from the room near the stairs. The girl sat there and listened.

“Risk, I don't know how you met Princess Elisia, but with her presence in this region, bandits will kidnap her and take her as a hostage. Her life will end here.” Elisia caught Captain Hans' voice.

“I already said that my meeting with her was an incident. If I don't help her, her fate will surely end in Glomouth.”

“But bringing her to the Tanin Region will be like committing suicide for her. Plus, she's still young and innocent.”

“I can't leave her at Grasswood either. Her high desire for return to Gwelissa cannot be containing anymore. Like it or not, I have to take her.”

Elisia felt that she was a topic of this debate. It reminded her that she had troubled her friends. Guilt returned, making her think about impossible things.

“I see, Zach. You've worried about her too if you are me, but if I get her to Gwelissa, it'll feel better considering I want to go back to Siraca.”

Elisia returned to the 3rd floor to lie down and curl up in the blankets. Feelings of sadness and guilt haunted her. The girl's eyes wet. She didn't know what to do.

“Why did I have to be born like this? Why am I special? Why does everyone want me?” The questions swirled in her head.

Elisia gripped the pendant Christ gave her tightly as she brought it close to her face. Longing filled her weak heart. Images of Christ appeared in her eyes.

“Christ, if only you are here. I want to feel your embrace again,” Elisia muttered.

In her daydream, Elisia remembered Violet's words about the roof-floor door. She got out of bed and walked up the stairs to the roof floor. She tried to open the hard roof door until it opened. The rooftop field was spacious enough to practice, but Elisia didn't want to do that.

Elisia walked to the edge of the roof to look at the building below. Then, she saw the locked emergency staircase above. A thought of running crossed her head, but she didn't have the guts to do so. Finally, Elisia walked to the center of the roof and stared at the scorching sun.

“I don't know what to do right now, but my friends will always protect me. I don't want to be protected, I just want to protect them. Why do I have to be special like this? Why do people think of me as a princess?”

Unknowingly, [Fire Pendulum] started emitting heat again. The grumbling from Elisia made the necklace-like object circulate heat energy throughout Elisia's body. Combined with heat of the sun, heat radiated from the girl's body. When her emotions peaked, the heat got higher and higher, creating a heat wave that exploded like a bomb.

Elisia's body immediately felt weak after the explosion. Her body heat became high, making her difficult for her body to stand. Her eyes felt heavy, she wanted to close them.

“Perhaps… this is the end…” In a near-dying state, Elisia opened her stats.

Elisia felt herself dying and lost consciousness. Just as her eyes were about to close, she felt someone holding her. Her body removed and brought back in. With a blurry vision, Elisia saw that there were two figures who often appeared in her dreams. The two of them smiled at Elisia, the girl smiled back.

“Bring Elisia back to the room, quickly!”

“Just lay her down on the bed!”

The voices of people who care about her sounded panicked at her condition. Her body was lying on the soft surface. Her vision grew blurry and blurry until the girl couldn't hold it in anymore. She could also feel the hands touching her body. The coldness of the touch was very familiar.

“Sorry if I bothered you all. I never expected this in my life,” Elisia muttered to herself.
