Her stamina had decreased in value. Elisia didn't know what she was doing last night, either consciously or unconsciously. She looked for Upgrade to inquire how she was. The girl knocked on his door three times. No response. Three more knocks made, and the door opened. The pale-skinned man stared at her blankly with messy hair.

“What's the matter, Elisia?” he asked weakly.

“You just woke up?” Elisia asked back.

“Yeah, I was doing some things last night. Oh, how's your wound?”

“I didn't feel any pain when I touched it. Maybe you should check it out,” Elisia replied.

Upgrade asked Elisia to enter his room. Room condition was messy inside with Upgrade equipment brought from Glomouth. She sat on Upgrade’s bed while waiting for the man to examine her body. After the man cleared his desk, Upgrade sat across from Elisia.

“Take off your clothes!”

Elisia opened the shirt Tevanny had given her. The bandages inside her body looked dull. Upgrade opened one layer of bandage to see the innermost layer of bandage. The color was very dark. The man also saw Elisia's right arm, which was covered with Kryptida gravel, with a system of viruses spreading.

Upgrade opened the final bandage layer. The wounds on Elisia's body had healed. The man wiped Elisia's body with a wet cloth that he dipped in the container. Elisia watched Upgrade do it with his face turned away from her. After wiping, Upgrade put the clothes on his foster children.

“Your wounds have healed, but I recommend you to not fighting with Risk in any form. If you want to practice, practice without hurting your body. I don't want to take any risks or even use my abilities,” Upgrade explained.

“Okay, thanks for taking care of me,” Elisia said, “Then, what about the infection in my body? I'm feeling uncomfortable with the stone growing on my arm.”

Upgrade lowered his head. “I still can't say for sure, but if we go to Tanggon, there might still be some hope of easing the pain of your infection. You'll have to be patient a little longer.”

Elisia also bowed her head. “I understand.”

Upgrade held Elisia's left cheek. "Don't worry. This disease won’t be dangerous with good treatment. I will help you until your condition better.”

Elisia smiled and felt the warmth of Upgrade's hand that was holding her cheek. “I believe you can do it.”

After her inspection by Upgrade finished, Elisia sat down at the dining table to eat breakfast. She wondered where everyone in this morning were, even the house felt so quiet. Elisia remembered that last night she felt something unusual. Something had happened, either to her or her friends. She also remembered that Christ would come to the house this morning, but she had not yet felt his presence.

Upgrade out of room to get a glass of water. Judging by his movements, he must had breakfast.

“Upgrade, do you know where are everyone in this morning? The house feels lonely,” Elisia asked.

“Dao is looking for a new job. Risk said that there was a business, I don't know what. Rhino is accompanying Tevanny shopping at the market. They left me with you at home,” Upgrade replied.

Suddenly, someone opened the back door. Elisia and Upgrade turned their heads.

“Dao?”

“Dao, have you found a job yet?” Upgrade asked.

“Dao has already got it, in the flower garden of Grasswood village. They said one of their worker was absent and didn’t give any news. They have also searched in his house, but there is nothing.” Dao answered.

“Flower garden? Is the worker named Christian?” Elisia ensured.

“Yes, he's Christian Lao, our friend.”

Elisia thought of Christ coming home last night and she immediately sensed something was wrong.

“When did they look for Christ?” Elisia getting worried.

“Since morning. They checked a small hut on a street where Christ supposedly lived, no one was there. They've searched the whole village, but can't find it.” Dao turned to Upgrade. “Is Risk back home?”

“He just left a few minutes ago. What’s wrong?”

“Dao wants to give this.” Dao showed a letter. “Dao will give it directly according to the order written in this letter.”

Elisia thought that she should look for Christ. She suspected that this was Brando's doing, since he was the one person who hated him the most. Elisia devoured, then left the plate on the table.

“Hey, where are you going?!” Upgrade scolded, who saw Elisia leave.

“I have to go to the village!” Elisia ran without continuing her answer.

Seeing that, Upgrade whispered to Dao. “Dao, please follow Elisia! I'm feeling something will happens.”

...

Elisia ran along the village road in search of Christ. She approached Christ's abandoned house fire. The girl was looking for something that might be a clue. She could only find a few books that were nearly charred. But, there were no records in it. Elisia remembered that Christ was carrying a large book when the fire was out.

Luckily, the book remained on the ground, buried under the grass. Elisia opened the book. Family photos greeted Elisia's eyes. She could see a photo of Christ as a child, looking adorable. Then, she saw a photo of his parents. When turned to the next page, there was a note written under the photo of little Christ.

You must know Agent around you, especially your haters.

Elisia linked those words with Christ's disappearance. Her mind caught that Brando was an agent. But what agent was this letter referring to?

Elisia tore up the writing for further study. She went to the gazebo that Christ and she had visited a few days ago. The girl reread the writing. The words provided no other information other than the agent, which she didn’t understand.

“There must be a connection between Christ and an agent, which caused Christ to disappear,” Elisia thought

Elisia turned the paper over and found the continuation of the message.

Agents have surrounded us, even the people we thought were good turned out to be agents.

Suddenly, Elisia remembered the story of Christ and Brando's past. She also remembered that Brando's father was the protector of this village. There was a suspicion that crossed Elisia's mind that Brando's father was an agent disguised as a Grasswood village fighter. It could be a reference to find Christ.

“I'm finding the background of this incident, but where should I look for Christ?” She muttered.

Elisia got up from the gazebo and walked to the archery area. Maybe she could find a clue there. However, something made her want to visit Christ's little hut. After walking for a few minutes, she arrived at the small hut. The door was unlocked, so Elisia could enter. Things looked messy inside with scattered papers.

On the wall, Elisia saw a pasted sheet of paper. The girl looked at it, there was writing on it.

I hope to defeat and reveal all its secrets. If I don't go home, just remember that I'm on a long journey.

Behind the paper, there was a map that seemed near to this small hut. Elisia left the hut to search for that location. Apparently, the map took her to the area of the road that cut through the forest. There were only a few houses on the road. Elisia continued to follow the path according to the map until she found an abandoned barn.

“I'm sure this must be the place,” she thought.

However, someone suddenly appeared on the right side of the barn. Elisia jumped into the bushes to hide. The girl looked at the person, much like the teenager who mocked Christ. Elisia had to got into the barn.

From a distance, Elisia could see a window on the right side of the barn and a ladder. Ideas popped into her head. She looked in all directions, then strolled toward the barn. Arriving at the wooden stairs, Elisia tried to raise the ladder upright. After that, she leaned the ladder against the barn wall. She did it slowly, so the ladder didn't hit the wall too hard.

Elisia checked her surroundings again. Safe, Elisia climbed the ladder until she reached the window. Elisia noticed the space in the dark hull. Her feet trod carefully on the floor above the barn. She felt that her footing was fragile. With careful steps, Elisia started walking to the edge of the floor.

The room below was quite dark, but Elisia could see a pile of hay. She could land on it. However, Elisia caught sight of [Sixth Sense] of an object in the darkness. Its status was still unknown, but just looking at the object's stats made Elisia remember something.

Elisia descended slowly, using the rope hanging nearby. The straw that she stepped on was apparently already damp because they stored it in the darkroom. Elisia walked slowly towards the source of the stats to make sure her eyes weren't mistaken. Almost close to the subject, the beam of light flashed in front of it.

There was a man tied to a chair with his hands behind his back and his eyes blindfolded. Elisia noticed clearly and smiled happily. She approached the bound man to free him.

“Hey, Christ!” Elisia whispered, “It's me, Elisia. I will let you free!”

Elisia saw the rope tied around Christ's hand. The thickness of the rope and the strength of the ties made her difficult to cut it. Christ seemed to struggle, as if he wanted to say something, but Elisia didn't understand.

When she wanted to untie the knot, suddenly an arrow flew and pierced Elisia's right arm. The girl screamed and held the arrow. Blood ran down her arm, the arrow stuck right where her Kryptida infection was.

The lights shone into the center of the room, making everyone there visibled. Someone walked up to them with a bow in hand. Elisia took out a fire spear. Her teeth gritted and her eyes gazed at the figure.

“You are brave enough to come alone to your friend, monster slayer girl. I wanted to invite you here earlier,” the figure said.

“What… do you want from him?!” Elisia said while enduring the pain. She tried to release an arrow stuck in her arm. She had also seen him use [Sixth Sense].

“I'm sure you already know.” The figure pointed a knife at Christ's neck. “Honestly, I just wanted to take his presence.”

Elisia was wide-eyed. “What are you talking about?!”

“Hey, calm down! We have no water here, your throat will be hoarse.” The figure stuck the knife in the dirt floor. “I can't tell you because it's a private secret. After this, you will hear it from this bandit's mouth.”

The pain became unbearable after the arrow wanted to released. Elisia saw the arrow, which was the same as the arrow that burned Christ's house. Elisia checked the stats to see the reduction in her Max HP.

Elisia had to endured the pain of the arrow stuck in her arm. The girl glanced around, there were only teenagers around her. Christ continued to struggle on the chair until the figure slashed Christ's right arm slightly. Elisia could only stand still, watching the person she loved sitting there tied up. The girl closed her eyes, then raised her spear in front of the body.

The figure ordered his companions to attack Elisia. The two people beside the girl moved towards her. Their hands carried a thick wooden block. When one swung the wood, Elisia slashed him in the stomach. He fell to the ground.

Seeing that, everyone started advancing in turn to finish the blonde-haired girl. While still being pierced by arrows, Elisia's right hand movement was limited. Elisia used her legs to support her fight. Thanks to her abilities, she subverted four people. Three people left to end the game.

The remaining three people advanced together to attack Elisia. The girl had looked at their stats, and they were quite easy to knock out. With a single slash using the [Molten Flame] skill, Elisia could overthrow them all. But, arrows shot back at her. The arrow hit the ground and dealt an explosion. It threw Elisia to the door of the barn.

Elisia checked the stats again to notice the damage taken.

“I received quite huge damage. My legs hurt. I have to get up before he comes to me,” Elisia muttered.

The figure turned out to have been standing in the explosion's smoke. She could hear his footsteps approaching Elisia. The girl couldn't do anything with her limp body. Unfortunately, the spear threw some distance away.

“Your action was great, I admit it. I won't doubt you as a monster slayer.” The figure chuckled. “But, you must end up in the hands of an archer.”

Suddenly, someone punched the figure right in the face. His body immediately fell to the ground. Elisia saw the person and recognized him immediately.

“Dao!”

Dao kneeling. “Elisia, are you okay? Oh, the arrow pierced Elisia's arm.”

“Yeah, can you help me?”

Dao took out a spare bandage from the back pocket of his pants. He pulled out the arrow, blood immediately spurted out. Dao bandaged the wound soon. Elisia felt better, although the movement of her right hand was still limited.

The figure rise from the ground in a fiery rage. He stood while pulling arrows.

“Nothing can stop me now!” He shot two arrows at Dao.

Dao parried the attack using his hands. Two arrows instantly snapped. The figure was getting angrier and started shooting arrows blindly. Dao dashed towards him quickly, then punched him in the stomach. His body had to be thrown again.

Dao turned to Elisia. “Save Christ, quickly! Dao will take care of it!”

Elisia nodded and started running towards the direction her spear threw. She grabbed the spear, then ran over to Christ. With the spear and the heat enveloping her weapon, Elisia could untie the thick rope. Christ opened the blindfold and saw Elisia.

“Elisia!”

“Talk about it later! We have to get out of here!” Elisia held Christ's hand. However, the teenager was the one who carried Elisia because he was fine.

Elisia looked at the Dao who was still fighting the archer figure. His body was full of puncture wounds until he was helpless. Dao made a final blow that sent him crashing to the ground. His Max HP also has 40 points left.

“Dao, we have to go!” Elisia yelled.

“Yeah... you have to go. Otherwise…” The figure held a remote that was ready to pressed.

Dao ran to the door of the hut immediately, but an explosion had occurred. They all threw until they hit the barn door until bursted. Their bodies crashed into the grass. Elisia looked towards the smoke, Dao walked out with a body full of explosive ash. Elisia breathed a sigh of relief. The robot man approached Elisia and Christ.

“Are you all right?” Dao asked.

“I’m fine, but looks like Elisia needs help because her leg has injured,” Christ replied.

Dao carried Elisia to return home quickly. After a few minutes of running, they went straight into the house and put Elisia in the dining room. Tevanny and Rhino were surprised and approached them.

“What’s happening, Dao?!” Rhino said, confused.

Dao walked into Upgrade’s room and knocked on it. “Upgrade, please come out! Emergency state!”

The pale-skinned man came out in astonishment. Dao glanced at Elisia, who needed treatment from him. Upgrade took the health box and started to treating Elisia's injured leg.

“You are so lucky. Your leg wasn't badly injured,” Upgrade said, “What did you guys just do?”

“Cut the story, Brando attacked me last night. They behaved strangely and kidnapped me, then tied me up in a dark room. Elisia came to save me and Mister Dao attacked Brando,” Christ explained.

“What? Brando attacked you?!” Tevanny shocked.

Christ nodded. “Yeah, but I don't know the reason he attacked me.”

“Everyone, calm down, please! I hope you guys get some rest, then you can talk about it later.” Upgrade approached Dao. “What were you doing earlier?”

“Dao just followed Upgrade's orders earlier and found Elisia in trouble. Dao comes to attack the bad guys. Dao also found something.”

“What's that?”

“He's an agent of Ursa.”
