“Where am I?”
“What happened?”
“Am I already dead?”
Elisia felt confused. She didn't know where to go. Only a dark room as far as the eye could see; no life, no activity. All she could do was run until the light greeted her.
Throughout the escape, voices kept calling her name. Sounds that were familiar and came from a single source. Elisia recognized the voice, and ran towards it. However, only a dark alley with no life that she encountered.
Feeling hopeless, Elisia sat down and lowered her head. Sadness filled her heart. Her eyes watered and tear up. A groan escaped her mouth. There was nothing she could do but wait for a miracle to explained what has happened.
Suddenly, the dark room turned into light. Elisia raised her head and rubbed her eyes. With teary eyes, a silhouette had seen in the distance. Elisia got up and walked over to them. Silhouettes taken shape as Elisia drew near, and forms became visible. Elisia wide-eyed.
“Mom?”
The figure turned and smiled. Elisia smiled happily at seeing her mother well. Then, she ran to her. However, an invisible wall blocked Elisia.
From her mother's feet, fire suddenly appeared and burned her. Elisia surprised and hit the wall, but to not avail. The sky turned blood red and the fire burned down her mother's body. Elisia kept hitting and kicking the invisible wall with all her might.
As time went on, the embers devoured her mother more and more to ashes. Elisia stopped with her hand still touching the wall. Her eyes became wide when see her mother burned. Her tears was unstoppable and a loud scream calling for her mother escaped her mouth....
....
...
..
.
Elisia's eyes opened wide with a straight gaze at the leaves. She felt her head was dizzy as she rise from the grass-like base. Her eyes glanced and confused.
“Where am I?”
With dizzy head, Elisia tried to stood up and walked through the place she thought was in this forest. She couldn't remember anything other than something vague. However, she also had to get out of the forest.
Along the way, Elisia felt a strange feeling about herself, as if a panel was emitting from her head. She groped her head. Suddenly a panel appeared in front of her.

This statistic confused Elisia. It was as if she had transmigrated to another world that was different. However, there was nothing she could do at this point other than got out of the forest.
“I have to conserve my stamina usage for now,” she said to herself.
Suddenly, her stomach growled loudly. Elisia just remembered that she had eaten nothing before. As a result, the stomach was empty.
Elisia looked across the trees. There might be fruit or anything else to ate. She continued walking while looking up at the trees. Finally, she found a tree with fruits hanging from it.
“Finally, a food!”
However, there was a problem that made Elisia confused, how to took it?
Elisia didn’t know how to climb a tree because she remembered nothing. But, if she didn't take it, she would starve.
"Now, how do I take the fruit?"
Around the tree, Elisia found small stones and some tree branches. She picked up a lot of bigger stones and threw them at the fruit. However, none of them hit the target. She kept trying and trying until she consumed a lot of stamina unknowingly.
“Hah, I'm so tired. I have to check the stats.” She held her head again and a panel screen appeared.

Elisia had expected it. She sat under a tree waiting for a miracle to came and help her picked up the fruit. Her eyes didn't stop glancing. Every tree, she surveyed. There may be other fruit was easier to reach.
Wind blew hard and shook all the branches of the trees. It blow Elisia's eyes, making her felt sleepy. The sun, which was at its highest point, supported her sleepiness.
The drowsiness were getting unbearable. Finally, Elisia leaned against the tree and sleep. She felt the tree was very comfortable, and the wind seemed to cover her so she wouldn't get too hot. Dreamland came to her and Elisia was almost immersed in it.
Suddenly, something fell onto her head hard. Elisia got up immediately and looked. Apparently, it was the fruit she tried to take earlier. She looked up at the tree and saw that the wind were making most of the fruit hanging off the stalks. Elisia took a bite of the apple-like fruit to make sure. It tasted great and sweet. Elisia devoured all of fruits. Then Elisia picked up some to took with her on the journey.
Suddenly, she heard a sound similar to a doorbell. She looked here and there, found nothing. Then, a panel screen appeared in front of her.
“Achievement unlocked: First Meal”
“Reward: restores all your [Max HP] and [Stamina]”
.
Elisia checked her statistics panel immediately.

“Wow, this is really great!” Elisia praised. “Maybe I can get some more achievements. Who knows, I can improve my skills here.”
Elisia continued her journey to get out of the forest. The girl still curious about the system that existed in this world. She checked the panel again, but found nothing. She had to be patient a lot and keep going. As she walks, she touched her jacket, and a message appeared.
[Wool Jacket]
Elisia thought it seemed like she could find something better and there must be something useful that could help her out of the forest. Then she touched her dress.
[Black Casual Dress]
Without her realizing it, Elisia heard rushing water. She approached the source of the sound coming from behind the bushes. She had got ride of all the bushes that stood in her way in order to saw the source of the sound. After successfully getting out of the bushes, it amazed Elisia when she saw the view of a very wide meadow with a river flowing under it.
Elisia ran towards the river and took a palm of water to drink. It tasted very fresh as it flowed down her throat. She closed her eyes to feel the pleasure. Then she took some more water and washed her face. The cold and fresh water soaked the soft skin of her face. Elisia felt her face was fresher than before.
Suddenly, the same sound heard again, and a panel appeared.
“Achievement unlocked: Fresh Water”
“Reward: Max HP limit + 10”
.
Additional health points? Elisia became confused again, but it doesn’t matter. She would follow the system in this world. Maybe she would get many more achievements and she could get a class that was still unknown in the stats later.
Elisia climbed a large rock near the river and looked at the vast grasslands while searching for civilization. Her eyes squinted to see every corner. There didn't seem to be any settlements as far as the eye could see. Elisia had to walk again.
Then she descended the rock to continue her journey to nowhere. She looked up at the sky. The sun was shining brightly today. Continuing the journey in this state would drain a lot of stamina. From where she stood, Elisia saw a enormous tree with very thick branches. Her mind immediately turned to a comfortable resting place.

Without thinking too much, Elisia crossed the river by jumping over the rocks above the river. Luckily, the river flow was calm, so Elisia could stand on the rocks. After that, she walked towards an enormous tree. Finally, a place that would put her mind at ease so she can found a way out of this place while studying the stats panel.
Arriving at the tree, Elisia took off her jacket and spread it out as a seat. Elisia leaned against an enormous tree trunk. Elisia looked up at the tree. There were many fruits. She didn't know what it was, but just looking at it was enough to filled anyone up.
With a relaxed body condition and a calm mind, Elisia opened the stats panel to studied it. Apparently, at the bottom of the panel, there was a menu to widen the view. She pressed that to found out.

Description:
You don't remember anything. Until the end, you still don't remember everything.
.
Elisia didn't understand the description part, but she also felt like she remembered nothing. She couldn't even remember how she got here. All she remembered was a flash of light that blinded her eyes, then she was already lying on the grass. She tried to remember more deeply, but her head became dizzy. In order to maintain her condition, Elisia decided to think nothing too hard.
By lying under a shady tree and feeling the gentle breeze, Elisia could relieve the pain in her head. It made her remember a piece of advice that relaxing without thinking about anything could be a way to heal yourself from various health problems. However, Elisia couldn't remember who said such a thing.
“Living here is very pleasant. The cool and fresh air, conducive environment, and the food scattered everywhere makes me fit.” Elisia muttered with all her random thoughts.
She couldn't avoid the fact that this unknown forest was indeed a comfortable place to live in. Elisia would also practice to climbing trees and building shelter. Although the stats panel she had might explain her existence here, a sedentary life was better.
“I still wonder why there are an skills in these stats? Will I ever have the skills? What is skills? Survive? Fighting? Or other?" Elisia thought.
Yes, she was also still curious about the stat pinned to her. She had a lot to learn; it seemed. With such thoughts, Elisia felt asleep. Before that, she really wanted to sleep. Elisia left for a moment to see the situation. Feeling safe, Elisia laid down peacefully.
...
Elisia saw a lot of blood splattered along the passage. A fishy smell stung her nostrils. She didn't know where this blood came from. Until a light at the end of the hall appears to revealed a silhouette again.
She ran towards them at a fast pace. Almost coming to the light, the muzzle of the rifle already aiming at her. Seeing that, Elisia stopped and walked backwards. Too late for her. The rifle fired and flew into Elisia's head. The girl's body fell to the ground and her vision turned red.
In a semi-conscious state, Elisia could see the silhouetted figure. His cigar sucked in a tobacco and smoke came out of his mouth. He pulled out a cigar and said, “Your family is just a disgrace to the Gwelissa kingdom. With your family dead, Gwelissa will return to tyrannical rule!”
...
Elisia who still immersed in a dream, felt a pat on her body. She tried to get up and peek at them. With her eyes still closed, she could see someone standing nearby. Elisia suddenly got up and crawled backwards.
"Who are you?!" Elisia snapped.
“Hey, calm down! I meant nothing bad. I only saw you sleeping here and I think it's very dangerous here." The person put his luggage on the ground.
Elisia took a jacket and put it on. Then she stood up to get a better look at the person. He was a thin middle-aged man in dull cloth clothes and carrying a cloth backpack.
"Do you.., live here?" Elisia asked.
"No, I'm hunting birds here." The man showed the gun. “By the way, what are you doing here? It's very dangerous for a girl to be alone in a place like this."
“I… got lost,” Elisia answered briefly. She thought that this man could definitely take her to a nearby village.
"Unfortunately for you." The man reached into his bag and took out a loaf of bread to give to Elisia. "Eat it!"
Elisia received the bread with the name [Weed Bread] and eat it. After swallowing it, the man gave Elisia [Water]. The girl immediately gulped it down. She was feeling troublesome.
“Sorry… I finished your drink.”
"It’s okay. I'm on my way back to the village. Do you want to come along?”
Great opportunity to get out of the forest. Elisia didn't want to miss it. “Sure, I want to come!”
"Okay, come with me!" The man walked towards the river.
Elisia followed the man to a nearby village. Elisia thought about what she will do there, such as looking for a place to live, looking for food, or looking for someone who could help her.
They went through the path that Elisia walked before. Elisia felt suspicious that she had been walking away from the village all this time. The man walked into the trees and passed the tree where Elisia rested for the first time. Then they passed the grassy ground where Elisia laid unconscious.
“Hey, is this the right way? Looks like we're entering the forest again," Elisia asked for sure.
"Right. I passed by here this morning. What’s the matter? Have you also been down this road before?”
“No, I'm just curious,” Elisia replied.
“We just need to follow this path to reach the village. Be careful where you tread, because we are close to the mushroom bear's den." The man advised.
Finally, Elisia followed the man. She continued to be in proximity to a man of about 40 years of age. The man took his rifle and cocked it. Elisia thought something wrong near them. Sure enough, a growl sounded from the bushes.
The man stopped in his tracks. "Be careful, there's a mushroom bear on our right!"
Elisia turned to the right. The bushes there moved as if someone pushing them away. Its voice drew closer, with heavy footsteps ringing in their ears. The man started aiming at the bushes and waited. The sound got closer and the figure he called a mushroom bear came out. Suddenly, the man shot the creature.
Elisia could see the creature's name clearly,
The bear was in pain and limping. Seeing the opportunity, the man took Elisia's hand and pulled her. They ran away from the hungry bear. Elisia felt her legs weren't ready to run this fast. There would definitely be a lot of stamina drained. They kept running until they finally came out on a dirt road.
They stopped under a shady tree while catching the breath that wasted during the run. Elisia checked the stats.

After closing the stats, a panel appeared before her.
“Achievement Unlocked: Run for Your Life!”
She didn't think that she had unlocked an achievement, even though she just running away from the bear's pursuit. She couldn't walk anymore because her legs were so tired. Her eyes glanced around. It seemed they were almost at the nearest village.
The Man was back in shape and ready to walked again. "You'll follow this road a few more meters and will come to the village of Glomouth."
Elisia tried to stand up to greet the man. “Thank you for helping me. I am indebted to you.”
"There's no need to say that. My principle is to help other people.” The man said.
“Fine, I guess I'll walk myself to the village. Thanks for your help again!”
"Alright, see you later!" The man continued on his way.
Elisia leaned back against the tree to catch her breath for a moment. She was lucky enough to met someone in the forest. If not, maybe she would return to her desire to live in the forest. Elisia continued on her way, but a message appeared again.
She was walking to the village of Glomouth. Hopefully she could find something good there. After walking for almost 7 minutes, Elisia arrived at the village of Glomouth. Traders who sold various necessities such as food, wood, tools, to horse-drawn carriages greeted the blonde-haired girl.
“This place is quite nice, although it's crowded,” Elisia muttered.
As she passed in front of the bakery, a fragrant aroma entered her nostrils. The scent attracted Elisia's attention to visit. However, she remembered that she had no money. She wanted to eat the bread. Finally, she walked into the shop and hoped the salesperson have some leftover bread to asked for.
Entering the shop, the fragrant aroma of various kinds of bread greeted Elisia. The girl felt hungry again. Various kinds of bread were available there, such as croissants, long bread, donuts, and others. Elisia saw a man she thought was the owner or employee here.
A few more steps towards the man, Elisia saw one diner took a loaf of bread on the table and put it in the pocket of his jacket. Then he left, saying nothing. Elisia actually chased the person out of the bakery. She looked left and right. Apparently the person had entered an alley. She chased after him.
Elisia traced the alley in pursuit of the person until she stopped at an intersection and peeked. The person was not alone. Two men, big and small, were sitting at the raft table. Under these circumstances, Elisia didn’t dare to approach the person. Finally, she turned to leave.
However, she bumped into a man who turned out to be standing behind her. Elisia gulped, looking at the man who had a tall stature. He grabbed Elisia's jacket collar and bring it to the person Elisia who chasing earlier.
“Guys, look who I bring with me!” He greeted as he throw Elisia against the wall.
Everyone got up from their chairs and took their sharp weapons. "Who is that girl bringing with you, Fred?" One of them said while pushing Elisia against the wall.
"Who knows? Looks like she's following you, Fraaman!”
"How should we treat her, Fraaman?" The little man said.
"What else? She's a girl. We can enjoy it tonight!” The big man replied.
"Or we can make slaves free." The man called Fraaman smiled at Elisia.
Elisia didn't know what to do and started breaking out in a cold sweat. She didn't have the fighting ability or anything to fight back. Her heart was pounding very hard and hoped that a miracle would come to her.
“Hey, I think you guys made a mistake!”
Everyone turned towards the source of the voice. A man stands with a jacket hanging in his left hand and a basket in his right hand.
"Who are you?" Fraaman asked.
The man looked straight at Fraaman's face with a stony expression. Elisia stared at the man. It seemed like one miracle came to her again.
“Taking bread without paying is a mistake, man!” The man said.
"So what do you want?! You want to act like a hero?!”
The two of them stared at each other. Elisia could sense a terrifying aura from the man in the black jacket in his left hand. Looked like there's going to be a fight.

Ebony Chitin - Eclipse
Richard Adams is something of a talented alchemist. One of the few magical professions that have anything to do with some kind of science. Everything was going swimmingly, until the 'cold night' incident happened. With it being determined as his fault, that such a thing happened. He was promptly exiled until he could return to Eclipse with a new 'discovery' for his field. What he didn't expect; was that he'd run into a strange humanoid monster that could seemingly heal any life threatening wound in a matter of seconds. Certainly this would be what he needs to become a master alchemist. The first step on a multi series journey. Please excuse the earliest chapters and their poor grammer. Ebony Chitin follows Richard Adams, and Mimi on their Journey to understand each other and the world around them. Due the the exploratory nature of such a claim, it will cover many different topics. This was my first attempt at actually writing a story, and because of that I will not edit it. I'd suggest reading the second part as it comes out as most of the things within this book will be recapped. Though if it becomes popular I hope it might inspire some of you readers to write your own stories. Cover Art by Rose Dragon
