After a few seconds, Shamir regained his composure and his breath returned to normal but the excitement could still be seen in his young features, which has fair skin, dark brown hair, and dark brown eyes could be said his looks are pretty average but still pleasant to the eye.
"Calm down Shamir!"
"You got excited the moment you heard of the prospect of becoming a mage but you only heard that voice but could be very well some sort of hallucination!"
"But it could also be a blessing from the heavens!"
"Alright!"
"There you go again Shamir, getting excited!"
"Ok, building a castle on-air won't take me anywhere, first let's think in what the voice said,
It said it would guide and support me towards becoming a mage, so first I need to know how it would do that." he conversed with himself.
Shamir then inhaled deeply and then exhaled... then not wanting to be disrespectful to the voice he heard, which if he was right belonged to an old man, he asked "Mr. elder could you tell me how can I become a mage?" after all, even if he was plagued by a sea of questions he had to begin somewhere.
The aged voice sound again, "host you will receive the necessary knowledge and training in order to achieve that goal, but it's a long way before you can become a capable mage."
Then Shamir asked aloud, "then can you tell me Why did I receive this system?"
The aged voice responded "host was selected because the host meets the requirements set by my creator."
Shamir was amazed by the answer given by the old voice and tough "that means that I have at the very least enough talent and luck to be selected."

Then he proceeded to ask "Mr elder may I know your's and your creator's name?"
The voice responded yet again.
"Host, my name is magic system but if host is uncomfortable or wants to refer to me by another name then please feel free to select a name host feels comfortable using when referring to the system, regarding the name of my creator I'm unable to tell you it's name for I don't have that knowledge, however I know he is at a level of achievement in magic that human would consider him a deity"
"I see then I can't know how made the system nor why it made it, but still to have a chance to learn magic being a commoner it may be truly a blessing from the heavens" tough Shamir while clenching his fist.
He then continued to ask "Leaving the issue of what should I call you can you tell me if you are the bright light that I saw and why when it entered it hurt so bad?"
"Informing host that what host describes as a bright light was indeed the magic system and the reason why host felt pain was part of the process of integrating the system with the host body and soul" responded the aged voice.
"Then system tell me what's the first thing I need to do to learn magic?" asked Sahmir.
The system then responded "First host need's to pass the tutorial set by the creator, the host would be to stepping in the path of magic, but it's recommended to start the tutorial in a safe place as the host body would be in an unconscious state, as only the host mind can enter the tree abode, which is a space made especially for the host to gather knowledge."

"I see, and for how long will I be unconscious?" asked Shamir.
"The estimated time for the tutorial completion is five years" responded the system.
"WHAT!?" Shamir couldn't help but exclaim as he though with a ragged breath, "how can that be five years? that means I would lose most of my youth, what's wouldn't my family give for dead since I wouldn't wake up for such a long time?"
"Please relax host as a special feature of the tutorial the creator made a special enchantment and during the tutorial time will flow differently in the abode and the real world, so that while in the abode five years will only be around a week in the real world, additionally there will be rewards according to the host performance during the tutorial and his final results."
"What?!" exclaimed Shamir, while he stood beneath the tree with his mouth wide open by how amazing that sounded, to be able to make time flow so differently in a place, even he as a commoner with near to no knowledge of magic knew that such a feat indeed could be only be made by a deity, dissipating any doubt he may have had that the creator of the system was indeed a deity, only remaining the doubt if the deity was a good one or a bad one.

Legendary Farmer (available on Kindle July 2022!)
NOTE: Legendary Farmer is now COMPLETE. The first book, Clearing, was released on Kindle Unlimited July 5, 2022 with significant edits. I will post the first chapter of Clearing, as well as three chapters of Cuckoo's Dream, another novel in the LF universe, as a stub, with a link to the first book, so if you love LF and want me to be able to keep writing consistently, please go give Clearing five stars! In the VRMMORPG, Veritas Online, things are getting a little stale. Since the game launched, only one world- wide event has occurred, and that was a year ago.. The players are still having fun, but everyone agrees it’s about time for something big to happen. Everybody tends to forget that big things grow from small things, and little things are always changing in Veritas. The human country of Quarternell is at peace for the first time in... ever. Aspen, a former war hero, feels like he’s earned a quiet life together with his animal companions. They’re tired of fighting, and other people in general. They plan to live peacefully, far away from the city. As soon as Aspen figures out this farming thing out, he’s never going to go anywhere again. Unfortunately for Aspen, his country and his goddess aren’t quite done with him yet.Rouge the Rogue is a casual gamer in Veritas Online. She’s just a kid, and her focus is supposed to be on school and hanging out with friends. Emphasis on ‘supposed to’. She’s already pretty good at the school thing, and she doesn’t actually have that many friends. What she really loves is exploring all the cool ways the developers of Veritas found to make their game unique and realistic. Then she’s offered a very special quest, and an opportunity to go beyond the average player. She’s never been that much of a rule follower anyway....Clearing is appropriate for most ages. It has minimal foul language, no sex, and some violence. It is LGBTQ+ friendly. (P.S. IMPORTANT! This book contains very mild profanity, no sex, and is meant to be FUN. Yes, the characters sometimes think Deep Thoughts, and idealism pretty much runs rampant, but, in the end, I hope you just enjoy reading it. Laugh, cry, share it with your kids, read it to your dog, whatever makes you happy. My goal is for it to be accessible to everyone from ages 12ish on up, so you could definitely consider it YA, but with lots of big words because I don't believe in talking down to my readers.) Book Two: Harrowing (Starts after the original Chapter Fifty, now Sixteen, since I condensed chapters from the same perspective together.) Zoey has started her summer internship at Veritas Corporation, and she can honestly say that being an adult is boring. Until she starts learning secrets she was never supposed to know. In game, Rouge is finally making progress on her big quest. Apparently Duke Penbrooke took too long to return to the world, so the world is coming to get him... in the form of a few assassins. Aspen is going to have to face the life he left behind, and deal with the fact that it's not as easy being 'dead' as he thought. When what he'd hoped would be a short trip back to civilization to resupply turns into a whole lot more, he'll have to fight for his life, his friends, and his kingdom. Book Three: Sowing Rouge and Aspen have reached Bright, only to find that their enemies were already expecting them. They will have to quickly unravel the mysteries of who their opponents actually are, because they're already ten steps behind. Rouge and Aspen are finally home, but that doesn't mean they can return to their peaceful days of farming. Their enemies are hot on their heels and determined to destroy everything they've managed to achieve. Join them and all their friends for the final volume of Legendary Farmer.

The Nether Wolf [CURRENTLY ON HIATUS!]
THE AUTHOR IS TAKING SOME TIME OFF.NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SMALL HIATUS MENTIONED LATER ON THE DESCRIPTION. WRITING WILL RESUME LATER THIS MONTH (FEBRUARY). Don't you just hate it when you're walking home from school and you accidentally stumble into another dimension? And now you're stuck in there with no way out, thinking of what to do in this medieval kinda world. Well at least it seems safe...It seems that some people have problem with multiple POV (Point of View) characters and so I'm deciding to alter the description to mention, that sometimes in the story we see the world from other people's point of view than our MC's (Main Character). But there is a MC and the point of view changes are few, except for short point after the season 1 ends. These are mostly done to expand the world and introduce plot elements, nothing more. This story is written in manner of seasons, which aren't marked in the chapter titles and don't really affect your reading experience, but between the seasons are small, 2-7 day hiatuses so the writer can rest and plan.Oh, the website released a mature-content tagging rules, so here: Warning, Mature [17+] Violence, gore and occasional swearing. Mainly put it at 17+ so it doesn't restrict me, but story could be considered as 15+, no way 18+ though.
