The leader's complexion was a little pale after using the technique. He had to rush since he could not predict what was going to happen when it comes to this group of people. The young Lord crashed's servants have already left a deep shadow inside his heart. The leader had already prepared for anything that could happens when dealing with this group. If a servant like little two could surprise him that much than the one leading them, steward xie would give him even more surprise.

However when he actually made it to here, he could not help but be startled when he looked at steward xie and the three demon beasts. His heart felt cold as he was shocked inside. He knew that Steward xie was strong, and maybe he would have had to use quite a considerable amount of effort in order to kill him but the sight in front of him made him realise that he still underestimated the man.

With a cultivation of early shedding stage, even if he was at the early peak, he faced against the combination attack of three demon beasts of general level and persisted to this moment. One must know that the demon beast general level are equivalent to human's shedding stage. But the demon beast are naturally stronger then human. They have stronger bodies and thicker qi. Therefore to fight a single demon beast of early general level, it would take at least two or three early shedding stage expert.

Yet steward xie faced one against three general demon beasts with eveb one of them being close to the middle general level. His state was miserable, with countless wounds and serious injuries but he still managed to inflict some minor wounds on the three demon beast. With just one glance, the leader could already guess the general situation, which caused his face to change.

He focused his attention toward the surrounding direction yet could not find the young Lord's figure. His expression turned bad before shifting his gaze back at steward xie with anger in his eyes. Still, his heart jerked a little when he consider the situation.

Steward xie body was shaking. His leg felt weak but still smiled. The three demon beasts were not in rash to attack either as they felt a little threatened by the new addition. That one small human already give them so much work, with one more popping out of no where made them cautious.

The leader stared coldly at steward xie. He was very sure now that if not for the demon beasts interfering, he would have mostly lost the trace of steward xie and the young Lord. The last group of assassins who were tailing them were already killed by steward xie. Without the mark left by the assassins for him to catch up he would have lost steward xie and the young lord.

"Where is your young lord" the leader asked coldly. Ignoring the three demon beasts at the side which caused the crocodile and bear demon beasts to growl in anger. As for the panther demon beast, it only crunched down slowly as it slowly circled around with slow and gentle step.

"Ahahaha.....you are too late. The young lord is already long gone. You can't find him anymore" steward xie laughed hoarsely, causing him to cough out a mouthful of fresh blood.

Steward xie's eyes fixed at the leader, also ignoring the three demon beasts. With his condition, it would be practically impossible for him to leave safe from this place. With the young Lord gone, he also did not need to worry anymore.

The leader eyes glittered with cold light. With a cold snort, he waved his right hand gently. The long sword reappeared in his hand out of thin air. A strong spiritual aura of the later shedding stage erupted from his body like a tidal wave, causing a irresistible pressure to spread down. The various lower demon beasts and fierce beats in the area whined from fright.

At the same time, the leader took a step forward, directly shooting toward steward xie, easily closing the distance between them as he prepared to cut down with his sword. Steward xie spewed a large amount of fresh blood as he was forced to retreat dozen of steps before coming to an halt. His face deathly pale as the injuries on his body worsened. His hand felt numb as it trembled gently.

The leader's body only shook for a second after the clash before calming down. He did not take a single step back. He could feel the strong force impacting on his hand causing him to squint his eyes, his face solemn.

With a red light flashing within his eyes, the leader's body exploded with intense killing intent as he prepared to take an other step forward but at that moment, the crocodile demon beast roared in anger. The sound reverberated through the air causing the leader to stop his movement as demonic aura locked into his body.

The leader brows wrinkled as he frowned. He shifted his cold gaze toward the demon beasts. But when he looked at them carefully, his lazy cold gaze suddenly turned serious as his heart jolted.

The three demon beasts maintained a distance from each other. The bear demon beast was glaring at him with incomparable fury. Its red demonic eyes fiercely glaring with killing intent. His black thick furs straightened, the strong suffocating pressure from its demonic qi spreading from its body. His body seemed also to have swelled, giving an imposing presence that made the leader heart feel cold.

Not far from the bear demon beast, the crocodile demon beast growled fiercely at the leader. Its body also seemed to have underwent a transformation, radiating an oppressive pressure. Its long spiked tail kept whipping about in the air causing the sound of crack to resound. Just by hearing that sound, one could feel a cold run through his spine.

However what really made the leader feel cold to his feet was the panther demon beast which at some point of time had already neared him without him knowing. The leader's senses has always been sharps but the panther demon beast actually sneaked in ao close to him that he did not sense its presence, causing him to feel a deep sense of danger. The panther demon beast body seemed to blend with the world, easily being ignored as if it had no presence.

The leader seriously looked at the three demon beasts. He did not dare to make any rash movement, which could allow the three demon beasts to have an opportunity to strike against him. He did not put them in the eyes as he had no intention of fighting them. Even with his later stage of shedding cultivation, he would still have a hard time against these three demon beasts. If he were to fight them, he could maybe fare much better than steward xie but in the end, he will still loose. Howwver they could do nothing if he wanted to leave.

As the leader stared at the three demon beasts with chilling eyes, he snorted coldly before shifting his gaze back at steward xie. Staying looked alert, the leader glanced around his surrounding once again to make sure the young lord was really gone.

"You sacrificed yourself to fight against these three demon beasts to give your young lord a chance to escape alone. However as long as he is not too far in this forest I can still find him. So your resistance will still be futile in the end" the leader said coldly before throwimg one last glance at the panther demon beast.

While staying alert, the leader took a deep breath, regulated his breathing before a beaming light flashed inside his eyes. At the same time, an invisible force shot out of the leader body as his spiritual sense spread through a large area, sensing everything within as he tried to find the young lord's position.

With the young lord cultivation and speed, he would not have gone too far and the leader could still feel the young Lord's position even if he may have gained some distance. With his spiritual sense spread out, the leader was sure he that would easily find the young lord. But after a while, the leader face changed dramatically.

His face turned serious as he spread out his spiritual sense even farther, but his complexion turned even more ugly.

He actually could not find the young lord's presence in the forest. While his spiritual sense radius of expansion was not extremely large but he still covered a considerable distance. The young lord should not have been able to escaped to that far in a short time.

As the leader face turned darker, weak laugher sounded in the air causing the leader'sface to turn ugly. He was really feeling irritated at the moment. Nothing seemed to go smoothly for him today.

"Trying to find the young lord aura with your spiritual sense?" Steward xie said weakly with a smile"you can try. But when the young lord decide to hide himself, no body would be able to find him. Unless he choose to appear by himself, you can try all you want and will only waste your time"

The smile on steward xie lips made the leader eyelid to jump for a moment as his mood was stirred a little. The anger slowly showing on his face.

"You!" The leader's anger rose as killing intent shone inside his eyes. It became very hard for him to suppress his emotions at the moment. But he still gritted his teeth and forcefully calmed himself.

As for steward xie, his smile was wide forgetting even the pain on his body. When he thought about the many time they had almost gone mad in order to find the young lord when he decide to hid himself for some raison in the past. The time a grown up man like him felt like crying. For once he felt that the young lord was genius.

"You may think that he will be safe after leaving the forest. But let me tell you, I will not rest until he is dead. Even if I have to chase him to the end of the world, I would definitely kill him."

"If that was so easy to kill my young lord, you lot would not have needed to lure him out of the xie clan to this place. Once he make it back to the clan, you will not have that chance again" steward xie said weakly, his tone firm.

The leader gaze was so cold that looking into his eyes could freeze one soul. His killing intent had rose to the peak. But contrarily, his face was calm. With a cold glint in his eyes, the leader raised his sword once again. The spiritual qi inside his body exploded ready to attack.

However at this time, the bear demon beast roared in anger and took a heavy step forward, which caused the ground to shake. The crocodile demon beast also become restless as the madness in its red vicious eyes deepened. A huge demon qi emanating from his body.

At the same time, a deep sense of crises appeared inside the leader's heart. His body instantly retreated a few step as he his face changed. The panther demon beast got even closer, with its body bended down as if ready to charge at any moment. The leader heart felt cold. As the leader retreated again, the three sides fell into a deadloock as they stared at each other alertly. The area fell into a strange silence, only the bear demon beast and the crocodile demon beast low growling along with steward xie weak breathing echoed in the air as their aura grew more menacing. However right at that time, a gentle rustling sound reached everyone ears.

The rustling sound was gentle and seemed a little far, accompanied with light footsteps sounds mixed with the sound of mumbling voice. The three sides suddenly become alert while their attentions were fixed on the dirction of the sound as a figure slowly came out of the dense trees and appeared in front of everyone.

Right as the figure presented himself in front of everyone, a deeper silence returned to the place. The low growl of the demon beasts disappeared and steward xie weak breathing seemed to be cut off suddenly.

At the other side, the leader lips curled into a cold smile.
