《Rise of the Forgotten》Ch.42 Updates and True Power

After leaving the building with those that are guilty and those that willingly helped them I had them transported to the prison ship in orbit and let out an announcement. This announcement stated that the people listed on it were to be arrested for several crimes. It also listed evidence of the crimes committed. There were several other announcements for other groups as well. Each listed the same things.
I then began to move on with the crusade. I wanted to get it over and done with. I also listened to reports of what is happening in the Dynasty. They had arrested several corrupt nobles and had taken vast amounts of territory. The feudal system of the galaxy made this significantly easier than in the federation.
All that was needed was either to take the noble captive or request a formal duel with the noble. Some nobles chose the latter option to save the lives of their men and citizens. The duels had conditions set around them and made to be equal. So in return for the noble to surrender and cede their lands then the challenger must either give away part of the Tailmen, or the conquered lands.
This made it extremely easier for the fleets in there to advance, though it was still slow as they had to get rid of corrupt officials and reduce the level of crime in the area before moving on. Still, not all nobles chose this option and instead either fled their territory or tried to fight. The latter was obviously easier to deal with. When the lord fled then the fleet would then move on to capture the capital planet in the territory. After that, they sent out messages to the other planets in the territory asking for their surrender.
Most of the planets surrendered with little to no hesitation. After all, most of them cared little about who their lord was as they usually only increased or decreased the taxes. This along with most of them not really seeing the lord made them quite disconnected and uncaring about the actual Dynasty. Well, if the planets were left alone that is, which was usually the case.
Still, there were many corrupt nobles and officials so they took some time to gather them and arrest them. They were then placed in different prison ships. The fleets each had two different classes of prison ships: the first being the political prison which had rooms that were livable and decently comfortable but still a prison, the other being the true prison ship. The true prison ship contained cells and uncomfortable rooms along with cheap food for them. The rooms were filled with prisoners and generally crammed.
They moved along the galaxy taking territory and prisoners along with annihilating crime. They continued onward and only stopped when the Monarch asked for a duel with me. The conditions were that if I lost then My ship would be pulled back and all territory returned. I would also have to provide the schematics for the ships. Should I win then I would get the Dynasty and his complete loyalty.

I accepted this duel and we set that date for after I conquered the Federation. My fleets in the Dynasty during this little cease-fire would patrol the territory taken and deal with crime and corruption even more thoroughly. They would also help develop the planets within the territory and help the poor and sick.
I had also received offers from other planets within the federation stating that they wanted to come under the banner of the Tailmen. I then went over their reasons for why they want to come under the Tailmen. I also looked over their position in the galaxy and also decided from there. I had accepted many planets as they were within reach of the fleets of ships.
Sadly I couldn't accept them all for now. Some were just too far away to be reached in case the federation decided to attack them. I asked them to wait until the fleets were close enough to protect them. Currently, I have conquered about a quarter of the galaxy. This only took around two weeks. I also received notice that the president had called an emergency meeting to vote on whether or not the federation as a whole would surrender.
With this notification, I decided to have my fleets focus on dealing with the corruption in the parts of the galaxy we have and dealing with crime. They would also focus on dealing with the many pirates that are spread throughout the region. I would continue on and keep taking down the bases of the traitors. I would also keep on releasing evidence about the president and her supporters' corruption.
I would also continue to release notices and evidence for other groups as well. This would make them move carefully and slowly. I also decided to go to the planet Eden as well. They were on the way to one of the bases of the traitors and the pod they had in their possession made me curious. I wouldn't forcibly take it from them as that would make them an unnecessary enemy.
Instead, I would request to look at it and go on from there. Hopefully, they would give it to me if I asked them, though I doubted it. I would also broadcast myself and speak to the believers. This would hopefully give them a good morale boost and keep their spirits up. I would also serve to remind them that I was watching them.
We traveled through the Sub-Space corridor to another planet. This one contained only the one secret base used for training and recruiting people and workers. These recruitment bases would be taking in many criminals and despots and if they got a high enough rank they would get to do almost anything they wanted.
The traitors didn't really care what the lower ranked people did as long as they didn't get the entire organization involved. If they did then they were killed without hesitation. This kept the group very well hidden and also helped to keep people in line. They also did the same thing to the politicians that tried to blackmail them or expose them.

Overall the group was filled with vile and corrupt people. They didn't care what they did as long as no one could track it back to the group. Many things happened within the bases that are the best-kept secret. Not many people would care anyway. After all, there are trillions upon trillions of people within just a small part of the galaxy, let alone the entire thing.
This made kidnapping people incredibly easy yet difficult. It was easy as one person missing from a community filled with millions of people would be easy to dismiss. It was hard as tracking and finding people also got better as well. Many people just didn't care about random people as well. This disregard along with the thought that it might not even be serious made people not care. This made it significantly easier for someone to go missing and having them never be investigated.
This is also compounded with the Feudal society in the Dynasty. This made it even worse and, though not exactly slavery, you could buy someone from their lord or noble. This meant that there was a record of your purchase though, so it wasn't used that much in comparison. This wouldn't happen anymore.
I will try to have a sense of community and unity pushed to all corners of the Empire I am creating. I will need to make a new name for the empire too. I wonder what it will be. Whatever, I'll think about it later. As we continued to go through the Sub-Space we were then pulled out of it.
This shocked me completely as that shouldn't be possible for the current tech of the federation. I noticed that only my ship was pulled from the Sub-Space. We were surrounded on all sides with Empire tech aimed at us. Aldion let me know that someone was calling the ship, I answered.
"Hello there, Other Alpha." A man with white hair and brown eyes said. "It is horrible to meet with you in this matter but it is necessary. You have been killing my associates and partners. I don't like that so I am here to kill you."
"Are you? You surprised me surely by coming out of you little hidey-hole but this is far from enough to actually kill me. So why don't you just let me battle you and kill so that we could get this over with." I said. The Indomitable is the most advanced ship ever made by the Empire by lightyears. I don't even know what it is capable of doing at its current size.
"It seems that you refuse to see that you are surrounded. A shame. Still, your hubris will come to an end when your ship has holes in it." He spoke with a grave tone. He then cut the connection and the ships surrounding me started to fire at us.
I had Aldion bring up the full capabilities of the shields. The ships fired more and more powerful shots at us but still couldn't breach the shields. They held on strong and didn't even waver at the shots. The ships then moved on to more serious weapons. They fired beams of plasma that hit the shields and used concentrated UE beams. They also tried to distort the ship through time and bring a past version of the ship onto the current version.
Still, they couldn't get past the shields. Though the shields were getting damaged by the onslaught. I then had the ship fire back. Beams of infused plasma and UE fired at the enemy ships, they tore through the hulls with no care at all. I then used my own temporal distortion on them as well. Instead of bringing a past them onto themselves, I instead sent them to before the universe formed in this area. A crack of spacetime formed around them and they then disappeared from the battle.
I also brought a part of the energy of the big bang around one of the ships as well, they were destroyed instantly. I also sent a proton bomb into one of the ships and watched it explode. I also created singularities in the center of some of the ships that caused them to implode on themselves. The surrounding ships were quickly destroyed until only one was left.
I captured that ship with a spatial cage. This made it so that the ship couldn't even move at all. I then sent out squads of my guards to the inside of the ship to clear it out and make sure that the false Alpha was there. I wanted to capture him then show the fight we would have. They shuttled to the ship as teleportation couldn't be used.
An hour later and they reported back that they had confirmed sightings of the False. I then shuttled my way over to the ship. The time of reckoning would come.

8 194The Complete Alchemyst book 1
You've heard of superheroes, seen them flying across the sky, destroying great swaths of cities and ending countless innocent lives in order to defeat great evils and world-spanning threats and sell lots of sponsorships and merchandising opportunities. This is a story about the guy that is not those heroes. A supervillain in a world where making the right friends and political contacts is what separates the good guys from the bad. The Alchemyst is a story about a normal guy in a crazy world that spends his time trying to follow his dreams and conscience, working on new potions, thinking about girls, and lifting heavy shit, while trying to stay under the radar of the superheroes, supervillains, and governments that want what he can do. And occasionally turning them into makeshift melee weapons. If you enjoy The Boys, the Aberrant roleplaying game, Mystery Men, Trashy romances, Arnold Schwarzenegger movies, or SAW you may enjoy this book. Please note that this book has extremely graphic and sometimes gross fight scenes, heroes as villains, villains as heroes, opinionated and often politically incorrect characters, some graphic sex scenes, dad jokes, dirty jokes, realistic depictions of romance and flirting, bondage and dominance themes, and more than a few cuss words when they are really appropriate. This is NOT a superhero genre deconstruction. Many heroes truly are heroes, and they don't all need to be destroyed to make a good story, but it does look into the dark side of superpowers and the unreasonable and often contradictory demands placed on exceptional people.
