《Rise of the Forgotten》Ch. 33 The First Year

The following months after the official declaration of the crusade I met with multiple organizations and guilds. The main priority was to have various merchant guilds help transport materials and help provide other things. This is so that when we conquered the various planets on the crusade we don't have to take away from our supplies to provide to prisoners of war. This is also to help make connections to the existing guilds that will more or less stay away from battles and the war.
Some however will be attacked for providing services to known criminals and 'heretics' while knowing who they are. Some even directly helped these people in what they do while also condemning said people. These merchants and organizations have also participated in a lot of black market deals and have even been producing illegal and highly addictive drugs.
These organizations will be dealt with severely. These organizations would have their assets seized and the leaders of the illegal actions would either be executed or imprisoned. This would be done after a trial is held and broadcast.
After meeting with the many merchant guilds and organizations I then sent out an order to the Orders to also hold out recruitment. Though extension time is needed for them to be trained, as the average time of training can take from 1-7 years depending on the Order, this was dealt with by using the variable time difference in certain Sub-Space.
The Order's main headquarters and training grounds were based on these Sub-Spaces as it reduces the time needed in the main space for recruits to be trained up. These spaces are very dangerous for a variety of reasons and are heavily restricted for governmental use only. With this, the recruitment and training of the orders are severely reduced and make the use of the orders more manageable. Without these Sub-Spaces, the many Orders wouldn't be as widespread and in use.
My order to increase recruitment was also supplemented with new blueprints for more advanced weapons and armour for the Orders. These were obviously better than the ones provided to the regular soldiers to reward the Orders for their rigorous training and use. These orders would also be of great help to increase the speed of the crusade and lessen casualties on both sides.
I also had them send a platoon of their best members. These platoons would then conduct training with me and my guard to improve all of us. This would also help them adapt to different tactics, weapons, other variables that only the unpredictability of a sentient could produce. It also showed me the general tactics that each of the Orders would use and what each of them excelled at.

I was also developing and advancing as much tech as I could. When I reached a certain point I would then craft my armour and weapons. I would also have to reforge my halberd and make other weapons as well for different circumstances. I was also transporting the Omegians in the Tailmen to Ev'Andel as well so that they could get a nice boost to their capabilities. With them being most of the highest-ranking members in both the faith and government this helped with the time needed for organization and development across the galaxy.
This also helped the Orders increase their strength as all of the Grand Masters were Omegians as well. This also helped increase the birth rates of new Omegians as well. These factors would increase the strength and capability of the Tailmen as a whole. It would also help when I remade the Empire when the crusade was over.
I was also touring the galaxy and visiting many planets to help increase the morale of the new troops and the people. I also visited many holy sites and had also shown the power of faith. I had witnessed a priest heal a man without using UE. It was fascinating to watch how easily a man was healed just by the power of faith.
I had also seen a sharp increase in my strength rising during this time. One time while I was meditating I had also heard the voices of people praying. It was an odd sensation and had helped me get a feel for what the people were actually feeling about this crusade and show of their chief god.
I also wasn't traveling alone as I had the maiden traveling with me. She had showcased a very kind heart and had connected with the people in a way that I could not. I was viewed with reverence and awe, while she was shown vast amounts of respect and respect. We had also talked a lot during these times as she spoke more in-depth about her life and people.
Her people are low in numbers and are very physically attractive. This had brought the attention of slave traders and other despots. This was further exacerbated by their exotic features and their physical and UE prowess. They are also highly monogamous and will only be with one person till death. They could also have children with a huge amount of races. This made many people want them for a variety of reasons.

This led to the near-extinction of their race as they would never allow themselves to be used against their wills. They would try to kill themselves in a variety of ways and if they couldn't they would instead make themselves useless. This was only stopped when the Tailmen had spread to their part of the galaxy and helped them. This had stopped the majority of the issues plaguing the species.
The Maiden herself is an orphan and was picked up by the Sisters when they had tracked down the people who had taken her from her home. She was going to be sold off as a slave after she had grown up and been trained to a certain level. She was kidnapped at the young age of 5 for this very reason. Little did the kidnappers know that she was the maiden. This little gap of knowledge led to their deaths and the destruction of an old slave-trading market.
Since then she had been highly devoted to her role and the Tailmen as a whole. She had also been very curious about things and accumulated a vast amount of knowledge. With this, she provided some help with the development of the Tailmen and had even given me the idea of touring around the galaxy. My original plan had been just to set up the foundations and train my guard and myself while experimenting with the power of faith.
With her input, I was also able to see the shortcomings of my thought process and had tasked her with helping me improve the morale of the troops and the people. After all, while I am very capable I am just a single person. She had also helped me with developing the new aesthetic of my guards and the fleets that were being constructed. She would also help with decreasing the civil unrest within the territory that we will end up conquering.
She was being very helpful and was very sociable while doing it. This helped increase my dynamic with her and helped with building my familiarity with her. She was also a vicious diplomat as well and helped smooth over the negotiations with the merchants.
I had also got into contact with Arthur to see how he was doing. He was quite capable and I would rather not fight him if I could so that I could use his help. He had told me that he had been promoted in KRT and had quite the following of his own in said organization. I had then asked him about what he was going to do with the upcoming crusade. He said that he was mostly going to help keep the peace while the military dealt with the invasion. This was a notion mirrored by many in the KRT and other organizations.
Some though were going to participate in the fighting as an auxiliary force to help support the main military force. He asked what I was going to do but I said some cryptic bullshit to him. He would learn who I was when the time came. After that, I talked with him for a little longer before disconnecting.
I carried on with this schedule of visiting planets and spending time with the maiden for the rest of the year. I also had the Indomitable increase in its size as well. This thing would be my personal ship and I couldn't go into battle in a small cruiser. Now it would be 5.5 kilometers long and carry a vast amount of firepower. I had to pull the crew from the small fleet of ships that I had when traveling from The Librarium. This ship would be supported by the fleet of ships that had greeted me when I arrived at the Tailmen. I also had to supplement it with some specially trained troops that would also work on the ship.
After the year had ended and I finished the tour around the galaxy I then had the High Tain tell me where the corrupted were at. It was finally time to see if I could turn them back to what they were.
